I recently got married at The Waterview on the east side. I could not say enough good things about my experience and my wedding. From the very beginning the staff has been exceptional and extremely professional to work with. The day of my wedding was absolutely flawless and it was all thanks to The Waterview and the staff. I had Zully as my day of coordinator and Angela as my bridal attendant and they were both so amazing. My bartender Kenny was amazing and everyone was very pleased and impressed with the bar service and drinks. The next day they had everything packed up and even packed some extra meals. The entire weekend was filled with phone calls from guest expressing how much fun they had and how amazing the food was. Booking with The Waterview was the absolute best decision and made my dream wedding come to life.
We booked the east side which provided an intimate and beautiful view with the water in the background, however you could not go wrong with either side.

We were assigned Kat as our event coordinator, and we felt so supported by her throughout the entire process. She was so helpful making decisions, answering questions, and on our wedding day she made sure everything went smoothly. I truly feel like I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day, we just communicated with the Waterview our wants & ideas for our day and they made sure it happened. The bridal attendants were amazing making sure we always had a drink & checking in throughout the night to see if there was anything we needed. We have gotten so many compliments from our guests as well about how delicious the food was and how immaculate the venue was - everyone keeps saying the attention to detail & their interactions with everyone at the venue were amazing. We really could not have asked for a more beautiful & memorable day, the Waterview is an absolutely stunning location with people who care about making your day special & perfect.

The food was great; not a single Italian (and there were a lot of them) had a complaint. I'll never forget turning around to just see the MOUNTAIN of desserts that were displayed for everyone. I was a little bit worried about the fact that the venue can host two weddings at the same time, but they stagger the start times, so you really don't end up running into the other party, except you may be able to see the other bride taking pictures by the lake at some point. There was only one moment when we could hear the DJ on the other side, and that was just because we were in the middle of speeches, but other than that, I completely forgot there was another wedding occurring. The venue is gorgeous, especially in the fall. It was interesting as we ended up with an 80 degree day in October, but the staff made sure to bring everyone water and champagne as they waited for the wedding to start. Would recommend anyone having their wedding here!

The bridal party and parents were able to enjoy cocktail hour apps and drinks downstairs while also taking pictures in front of the stunning views. Cocktail hour and dinner food were amazing, our guests are still ranting and raving about it which I feel every bride/groom worries about leading up to the wedding. We also added the Viennese table and French fry exit station, both being big hits!
Kat, our coordinator, was so easy to work with, from our cake tasting, dropping off decor to be set up and answering the smallest of questions via email! She made sure our day ran so smoothly. I also want to shoutout one of our bridal attendants Brian who was the absolute sweetest and made sure my husband and I had the best time!
All the staff were truly a pleasure, from the booking process, to the front desk and the wait staff. By the time our event ended, everything was packed and ready to go so my husband and I didn't have to worry about any of it.
I couldn't recommend The Waterview enough as they had everything we could ever dream of and allowed us to have the most unforgettable day!

Zuleika made sure the day ran perfectly on time all night long and not a single detail we discussed was missed, even if we only mentioned it once. Angela was fantastic. She predicted what we would need and would have it in her hands as we turned around to ask. She even got down on the floor to assist in bustling my dress when my whole wedding party was struggling to figure it out. Finally, so many guests told us the food was fantastic and was some of the best banquet food they'd had, and we agreed! I highly recommend the Waterview for their service, food, and beautiful venue space.

Their wedding showcases that they hold twice per year, allow you to taste test nearly everything they have to offer. The day of our wedding, there was another wedding reception on the other side of the venue, and you truly would have no idea that there were 2 weddings happening simultaneously. We did not see anyone from the other wedding or hear them at all during our ceremony or reception. They do an amazing job and we highly recommend them.

The bar staff was also very efficient and kind, serving my husband and I right when we got up to the bar, so we never had to wait for a drink. There was only one “hiccup” during the day (we had requested cupcakes but they made a cake instead), but it was a blip that only I knew about/noticed. The coordinator also offered to discuss with management about a possible refund due to the mistake, which was good customer service. I haven’t heard back yet so I am not sure if I will get reimbursed, but the offer was thoughtful anyway.

erience with The Waterview. Every single question I asked was answered and every single possible issue that could arise during a wedding was planned for and accounted for in our timeline. The day of my wedding, it was expected to rain and naturally I was upset. My EXCEPTIONAL wedding coordinator Zuleika and her team were so patient and waited until 10 minutes before the ceremony to allow me to decide if I wanted the ceremony inside our outside. Luckily, the venue set up for both inside and out for me and we were able to do it outside. Zuleika was beyond accommodating, communicative, friendly, easy-going, and incredibly organized. She replied to my thousands of questions SO fast and was upbeat and positive the day of the wedding, often reassuring me that the rain will hold off and any issue that came up would be handled. And let me tell you, it was. I had some issues arise the morning of and Zuleika and the venue staff handled it immediately. This venue and the team that work there were the best staff I could have ever asked for. They executed the wedding exactly the way I asked, made sure all family, friends, and wedding party members were exactly where they needed to be and I was not even stressed once during the day. Zuleika handled absolutely everything exceptionally, my only job was to relax and get ready. I cannot believe how smoothly the day went, and how easygoing it was for me as the bride. I thought I would be starving, stressed, and running around LOL it was the complete opposite! I was able to eat my meal (food was SO SO SO good), drink at the bar, spend time with my family and friends, and most importantly, enjoy the best night of my life with my husband. I wish I could relive this day over and over because The Waterview made sure it was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience. Zuleika was the absolute best coordinator I could have ever asked for, and I can not rave enough about her. I am so happy that I chose this venue. I cannot wait to go back and visit it over the years. The happiest memories of my life were made there, and I owe it all the to phenomenal staff .

usion was exactly what we were looking for. The Waterview staff confirmed our initial thoughts, as they were super friendly and pleasant. It was refreshing to have venue that displayed and delivered honest and transparent packages about what we can expect and what they would deliver. They never tried to upsell things we didn’t need or want, rather they listened to our vision and made it happen. Zuleika was our coordinator, and we couldn’t be any more grateful for her commitment and thoughtfulness to ensure our wedding was spectacular. During the process of planning (our numerous calls, emails, indecisiveness/uncertainty), we felt catered to as if we were the only wedding party Zuleika was taking care of. Zuleika and her team, never disappointed us but instead reassured us and kept the bride (me) calm. The level of attentiveness we received was consistent throughout the process, from day 1 we were assured we’d be able to integrate and enjoy our favorite Jamaican restaurant’s cuisine into our cocktail hour, to making sure the details of my vision/decor for the ceremony and reception we’re carried out, to ensuring we captured the sparkler send off before our photographer’s contract time ended. Right before the ceremony, a minor detail was out of place and Zuleika made sure it was corrected prior to the start of the ceremony. In addition, they worked with us to setup and break down decor items and it was neatly packed for next day pickup.
By far, we were beyond blessed to have the Waterview as the venue our wedding. While there are a lot of venues out there, the Waterview is truly a top notice venue that’s easy to work with and has the best staff. Our guests (200+) have not stopped talking about our wedding. Our guest traveled from near and far (Canada, Florida, Jamaica, New York, Seattle, Houston) and raved about the beautiful views (lake and garden views), the food selection(s)/quality/taste, and staff’s genuine interest to ensure all guest were comfortable. Zuleika and her team even opened up the inside venue to several guests who arrived extra early so they didn’t wait outside in the heat. The natural beauty of the venue sitting on the water of Lake Zoar combined with the inside elegant charm is unmatched. Their ability to manage larger weddings seamlessly is phenomenal. The WATERVIEW is “THE PLACE!”

They were there when I needed them with small and big questions. They were supportive, and helped with the entire process of planning. Kat was assigned to be our venue coordinator and when we met with her 6 months before the wedding, we felt so relieved that everything was falling into place especially with her help. Now, THE FOOD.... usually when venues are all inclusive, the food can be hit or miss, but let me tell you - EVERYONE still mentions the food to us! There was SO MUCH of it. Plus our stations that we added (DO THE FRENCH FRY BAR!!) really kept our guests happy and full. Our bridal attendants were amazing - helping me get out of my dress into my second outfit was clutch! Oh and pro tip - if you book early enough, you can go to multiple showcases and sample food! Really helped us on our decisions for cocktail hour. We really could not have asked for a better venue to work with.

Taylor after our original planner had a scheduling conflict. She did a wonderful job stepping in and answering our *many* questions along the way. Taylor helped us create our dream vision and thought of so many details that we wouldn't have considered. You can tell she loves her job and is so great at it. Everyone at The Waterview is so kind and helpful. All our guests were raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the outdoor space. I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone!!!

started the process with us, but got promoted about half way through. We were seamlessly transferred to work with Taylor, and she was just as amazing. I couldn't imagine having a better wedding! I highly recommend The Waterview. I can go on and on, but just trust everyone at this venue. They know what they are doing!

ful that he was by my side on the big day. He kept our crazy big family organized, happy, and calm (all while being super professional & patient with us)! The bartender and wait staff were awesome, the bridal suite waitress was an absolute angel. I received so many compliments from my guests regarding the delicious food, beautiful cake, and ice cream bar. The weather was perfect, set up was flawless, and the gardens during July were full of colorful flowers in full bloom. It was so peaceful during the ceremony with a gentle breeze off the water and I have no regrets regarding my venue choice. This place is super elegant and made my wedding dreams come to life! All of the way staff was super kind to guests and took care of their needs. I couldn't be more thankful and grateful for this experience on the best day of my life. Thanks again!

I even packed a lot of additional decor with specific instructions and Colin and the team set everything up perfectly, packed eveything up and had it ready for us to pick up the next day. Our guests all raved about all the food, the service (no long lines at the bar), the beautiful ballroom, and how perfectly eveything went. I really didn’t have to worry about anything after our rehearsal and dropping all our stuff off the day before.
