The Waterfall Catering and Special Events

them a year before my wedding, and I was still trying to get things done up until the last minute. The specialist that we were working with left the company and nobody reached out to us. When we finally had someone reassigned to us, we felt behind with everything from menu to layouts, to staging, etc. -when we booked, the chef told us he has the ability to make indian food. At the tasting before the wedding, he had no idea what he was doing so they had to accommodate us by getting an outside Caterer since we already had a contract with them. This led to the proceeding trying to charge for random things. We had booked both halls for Sunday and were assured during booking that we can use the bridal suites in between to transition outfits free of cost. After this food fiasco, they wanted to bill us $300/hr for the 3 hours in between and came across really rude about it. Left a poor impression on how they handle themselves in a unexpected situation. -make sure you decide early on if you want staging, bar with exact types of alcohol, the timings you plan on using the venu outside of your designated event hours, use of AV equipment like screens, servicing during outside catered events, AND have them write it out into the contract so it cannot be disputed later on. You might feel like you are getting a great deal, but they will charge you certain things. -they don't have enough staging to setup a large stage for both halls. So not only did we have to pay for their staging but our decorator for staging in the hall earlier in the morning. -their serving staff can be inexperienced. One reddish brown hair girl was straight up yelling at another guy while heading back to the kitchen. Didn't even realize guests could hear her. Pros: -we got a deal for booking them off season. -without a doubt, this place is gorgeous inside and out. I am excitedly waiting for my professional pictures. -they offer so much food as part of the package. They can mix and match in house and outside catering services. We went with a outside Caterer for our first event and they had full access to what they needed. -the day of each event, everything went smoothly. Food and setup was ready to go for each event on time. Make sure to have your event hours beyond what you think you would need. -they include the cake in their package and it was worth it. -they worked well with every single vendor we hired and maintained professionalism. -great option for Indian weddings since they understand the fire aspect of our rituals. Overall: if I didn't have a delay because nobody was overseeing my wedding for half the year, things could have been figured out better saving a lost of last minute stress. The food that did come was delicious. The venue from every angle is photograph worthy and probably out does majority of the venues in Delaware. For indian weddings, always go with an outside food vendor. And make sure every dang detail is laid out in the contract. Good luck in your venue search.

as beyond amazing, our guests are still raving about it!
