1st issue - Josh double booked our event date and "forgot to put us on his calendar". He notified us 1 week prior to my daughter's wedding that he would not be able to DJ the event...
but that his associate would step in and he had full confidence in her ability. Yes, we agreed to this, and Josh agreed to refund us 20%, but she was not suitable for a wedding. She sat there all night, making out with her boyfriend and did nothing to interact with the crowd to get them pumped up for the reception. The music cut out and stopped during the father/daughter dance, which was such a disappointment. You expect with a DJ that they are going to be fun and energetic for the guests, but this is not what we got.
2nd issue - When the DJ team arrived at the venue for set up, which Josh was present for, he told our event coordinator that we were supposed to have a table and tablecloth for his equipment, set up and ready to go. He stated that it was in the contract. I pulled the contract up and nowhere in the contract was this stated. My husband was near Josh and overheard him loudly complaining about us not having this available and being completely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived to address this with Josh, he had pulled up the contract and as I approached him, he admitted that the clause was not in the contract about the table and that he was at fault and apologized. At this point, an apology was meaningless. His contract states that he will be the DJ to be present at the event, not a replacement. I called Josh post event to express my disappointment and to state that we should be receiving an additional refund due to not receiving the quality of service that we were promised. Josh was furious that I would ask such a thing. I waited 2 weeks after the event to write this post, hoping that Josh would do the right thing, on a customer service level, and simply that is the moral thing to do, but he has not. Please do not book The V-Team....you've been warned.
5/5 – Highly recommend for any wedding.
Josh was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was prompt, professional, and incredibly easy to coordinate with—every email was an...
swered quickly and clearly, which made planning so much smoother. On the day of the wedding, he handled everything seamlessly. I got lots of compliments from my guests as well. If you're looking for someone reliable, professional, and genuinely good at what they do, Josh is it.
BEST DJ EVER! From our first consultation to our big day, Josh was amazing! He created the perfect vibe for the entire night, took request from our guest and even took a spin on th...
e dance floor with us. His attention to detail and professionalism were top notch. Can not recommend enough!
I hate to leave negative reviews, but our experience with the V-Team DJ honestly should be shared so other couples know what to expect. We hired Josh in October 2022 for a wedding ...
at the end of July 2023. I spoke only with Josh, sent him comprehensive instructions, spoke on the phone, and even emailed with him the day of the wedding. With zero notice or notification, he did not come to our wedding and instead sent two people I had never met who had never once DJ'd a wedding. They walked up to me while I was getting photos done and I had to ask who they were. During ceremony set up, they told my brother (our officiant) that they had 'no mics'. Then both the bride and groom's brothers had to help them get the microphone set up while guests were already at the ceremony. For the actual dancing portion, the music had no flow or transitions, no one could hear the announcements, and we essentially had to manage them and tell them what to do/what to play all night long. The stand-in DJ also told multiple guests that it was their first time DJing a wedding. Josh's response was that he had to go to a different wedding that was 'more difficult' than ours (again, we booked him 10 months in advance). He refunded us $500 which is very appreciated, but that still means we paid $1,150 for a first time DJ with no wedding experience that caused us tons of stress. We still had some fun dancing and they followed our song requests, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Super bummed.
Very professional DJ who loves what he does!
A great small business to have in the Valley!
If I could leave zero stars I would! DO NOT hire this DJ. He was unable to provide music for my cousins wedding for the first 4 hours of the reception. You couldn't hear the mus...
ic for their first dance or her father daughter dance. Not only did he not provide the service that he was hired for, Josh was incredibly rude during the entire affair.
Unfortunately, this DJ ruined my niece's wedding last weekend. He had equipment failure. Guests departed the reception before the couple's dance or father/daughter dance, which y...
ou could barely hear the songs being played. No music was played during dinner, which had been requested. I wouldn't recommend using his services.
The VTeam was TERRIBLE and very unprofessional. They were hired for my daughters wedding July 8, 2023 for 6 hrs of music. The DJ didn't get his system going until almost 4 hrs la...
te; We had no music throughout dinner; our daughters couple dance and father/daughter dance was to his phone with a microphone next to it- you could barely hear the music standing right close! The majority of our guests had left because of this, leaving excess kegs of beer, etc.
Josh, owner, was very unprofessional with how he handled this whole botched affair- stating they had provided service and we were dancing. I strongly would NOT recommend the VTeam for any party. He ruined our daughters reception. It was heart breaking to our daughter and family.
I'd give the VTeam 0 stars but this wasn't an option.
Josh did an awesome job at the wedding and reception for us. He is amazing at all the pre-event planning too. He was super helpful in figuring out what events we wanted, what we di...
dn't, the music for each part, what music were musts and must nots. He is super organized & responsive- even when you throw in some weird last minute requests. If you are looking for a reliable, fun, and competent DJ, I highly recommend The V-Team Professional DJ!
BEST. DJ. EVER.
Seriously I don't have enough good words for Josh. He made our evening so seemless and fun. The dance floor was crowded! BOOK HIM! :)
Josh was absolutely amazing! He was one of the easiest people to talk to in regards to wedding vendors during the planning process. He gets back to you super quickly and answers al...
l your questions. He did a great job helping with the flow of the wedding and did an incredible job of making sure all the songs we wanted were ready to go for our big day, no matter how obscure they were. Will be recommending him to anyone looking for a DJ in the flathead valley!
Josh was super responsive, was very reasonably priced and graciously traveled to our destination without a travel fee since he had friends he could stay with in the area. He's the...
nicest guy, and delivered all the music the bride & groom requested. We were able to keep him playing music for an extra hour without any problem. I only wish he had been out a bit more with the cordless mike to get more people involved. He was up on the porch and pretty much stayed up there. That may have been our fault as we should have asked him to be a bit more involved himself. Music and his announcements could have been a little louder at times as well
My husband and I found Josh online and after a few correspondences, we knew that we had found the right DJ for our wedding! Josh is incredibly personable, professional and experien...
ced. We asked him if he could coordinate the processional music for the ceremony as well as the reception music and we could not be more grateful. The quality of the music (clarity, volume, etc.) was PERFECT. Being quite particular, my husband put together an entire "play book" if you will of what he / we wanted and when... Josh did not hesitate at all with the special requests and executed everything perfectly. We had so much fun at the reception and this in large part is due to our awesome DJ. We whole-heartedly recommend to anyone looking for a DJ in the Whitefish, MT area!!! Thank you, Josh, for helping make our special day so very memorable!!
Josh was very professional. Had amazing recommendations for songs for dances and other songs needed. Never had the music or microphone cut out. He kept everyone dancing all night l...

I don't plan to ever get married again, but I certainly will be recommending him to my friends so we can party the night away again! Josh went above and beyond to make sure our night was successful.
