We got married at the Ebbitt Room at the Virginia Hotel in Cape May this past September. We wanted a small, intimate, low key wedding and our wedding day turned out more beautiful ...
than we could’ve ever imagined. It’s a gorgeous venue right in the middle of a beautiful street full of Victorian homes in walking distance to the beach. The staff and bartender (Leo) were all wonderful and so accommodating. Our guests raved about how delicious all the food was too. Erin, our event planner was very professional and the absolute best. Every detail and special request was noted and executed perfectly.
We planned a beach wedding but the weather didn’t hold up and Erin and Anastasia were the biggest help in planning the event inside near the grand staircase last minute. From the early planning stages, they were accommodating, patient and friendly.
Aside from the weather (hurricane) and my hair, I don't think a single thing went wrong. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much! We couldn't be happier with the decision to have our wedding here. It was an absolute dream and just perfect in every way!
I would recommend the Virginia Hotel for a small intimate wedding in beautiful Cape May. We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary
We had our wedding at The Virginia in October 2017 and it was absolutely perfect. We had an intimate wedding with close family and friends. Both the ceremony and reception space wa...
s not only gorgeous but had such character to it. All of our guests were raving about how delicious the food was! Jenn our wedding coordinator was great to work with, she responded very quickly and incorporated all of our ideas! We would HIGHLY recommend.
Amazing!! The Virginia and the Ebbitt Room did a beautiful job coordinating our 50 guest, daytime wedding. Working with their coordinator, Jenn, was a true pleasure. She responded ...
to my every email quickly and thoroughly (and there were a lot). Jenn went above and beyond; from coordinating last minute rehearsal dinner reservations to helping me with gift cards for my bridemaid’s gifts. She even kept the show going when our playlist stopped working the morning of the wedding. Shifting around friends’ phones on the sound system for our first dance and favorite songs. The rest of staff was wonderful as well. Everyone was so kind and the whole day flowed seamlessly. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. We are still receiving compliments from guests on both the food and service. We would absolutely recommend the Virginia for an intimate, fun and stress free wedding venue in Cape May! We can’t wait for our next trip to the Virginia and Ebbitt Room!
