They kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment instead of worrying about logistics. A priority of ours was to be outside surrounded with trees for both our ceremony and reception. As soon as we arrived to tour The Mill for the very first time, we knew it was the perfect venue for that reason. It gave us the best of both worlds—being surrounded by nature and fresh air while still having the comfort and structure of a beautifully set-up tented space. It created such a warm, romantic atmosphere that felt exactly like what we had envisioned. If you are feeling overwhelmed by wedding planning or looking for a venue with a team that genuinely cares, we cannot recommend The Stone Mill 1792 enough. We were going for a "Colonial Williamsburg" style and venue fit the aesthetic perfectly (I mean, it was built in 1792, after all) and Matthew, Michael and the team were absolutely amazing to work with. They handled every small detail from decor to scheduling everything the day of the wedding and made what we expected to be a stressful event into the easiest, most stress-free process. Everything was so amazing that my wife and I are discussing a divorce just so we can get remarried there again. Walking in on our wedding day, we received the warmest welcome I've ever gotten from a venue, and it set the perfect tone for everything that followed. The space itself is hard to describe because it somehow feels both grand and cozy at the same time, with enchanting nooks tucked throughout that made our celebration feel intimate despite the size. Every detail felt atmospheric and intentional, creating an experience our guests are still talking about.

They not only accommodated us, but they anticipated a lot of our needs, helping us to stay on schedule and keeping the wedding feeling seamless as we moved from event to event. We had given them our decorations the day before the wedding during our rehearsal. On the day of, both my husband and I were rushing around trying to get ready and did not have time to get our decorations setup. Lo and behold, the Stone Mill team had gone out of their way to make sure everything had been put out, and not only had they set everything up, it all looked beautiful. The venue itself is gorgeous, and made for some really amazing photos. There are lots of really great photos spots around the property and even inside the house if you are getting ready there. They also have decorations on-site that you can choose from to use as centerpieces and table decor. This is all included in their wedding package. We gave them some instruction during our decor meeting prior to the wedding, but the Stone Mill Team really went above and beyond to meet our vision. It was an amazing experience working with them. Every single one of their staff members that we interacted with was so kind and thoughtful, and their attention to detail really shines through in all the work they do. I cannot recommend them enough!

slight inconvenience is that we were responsible for disposing of the trash at the end of the night, I think it would be helpful to have a dumpster on sight to make things easier but I understand that would involve paying a trash company to come empty the dumpster/pay to rent the dumpster so it would be a cost on their end but other than that, I have zero complaints!

Anything that needed to be changed or adjusted day of, was done quickly and without any issue. we LOVED working with them. A few of my new family members have already talked about wanting to do vow renewals here!

s for the bride and groom respective wedding parties. The facilities in the Mill were great with plenty of bathrooms, a kitchen area and make up room for the bridesmaids. You however can't get married in the Mill but the outside grounds are surrounded by trees and lovely. We had perfect October weather and benches were set up in front of the gazebo for the actual wedding ceremony. The celebration was inside a huge tent and tables and chairs are provided. Matt was available for questions and concerns. The not so good stuff: We were informed we needed to dispose of the trash at the end of the night. We thought there would be a dumpster what we could throw the bags into. WE had to take all the bags of trash home! This was not at all convenient, luckily my husband has a bed liner in his SUV as liquid spilled everywhere and he got doused on his suit when he emptied the truck at our home. This was not a nice way to end an otherwise wonderful day. I likely got my wires crossed about set up as the only thing the venue does is put tables and chairs out. There is no help for putting on the linens nor the centerpieces. The heaters are an added expense and cost 500. for 2 heaters, which you will need in the cooler months.

The venue offers a very comfortable and spacious area for the bride and groom to get ready with their wedding parties and the ceremony site with the fountain is an excellent centerpiece. We had our wedding in the heat of July but thankfully the fans and tent kept everyone comfortable even in suits and ties. I would definitely recommend the venue to anyone looking for a scenic outdoor venue.

Kate also doubled as my wedding coordinator and our big day would not have been as perfect without her skills in planning and creativity. She was very easy-going and super sweet and helpful. Despite rain in the forecast, they were willing to do what it took to ensure we could have our ceremony outside surrounded by a beautiful scene. The tent offered the perfect place for our reception, with so much potential to do it up however we wanted. Our big day was everything we had imagined and more, and I am so glad we chose The Stone Mill 1792 to host the whole event! Highly recommend!

Pam constantly had a smile on her face and she was extraordinarily helpful! The place is well taken care of and looks pristine on the day of the wedding! I adored every aspect of my day and the weather was perfect but they did have a back up plan if it was going to rain. I can't thank them enough for all they did to make my day perfect.
