Booking The Smith Collective was the best decision ever! Logan made the planning super easy and stress-free, and they completely nailed the vibe on the big day. I’m Logan Smith, owner and DJ behind The Smith Collective. Music has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to DJ everything from packed clubs and private events to weddings, while also spending time producing my own music — experiences that have shaped the way I understand rhythm, energy, and what makes a moment truly connect with people.
DJing in clubs taught me one of the most important skills I bring to weddings today: how to read a room. I learned to pay attention to the energy of a crowd, recognize when a song is working, know when it’s time to switch directions, and create transitions that keep people engaged rather than simply working through a playlist.
Outside of music, I also hold an MBA in Business Management. That side of my background influences The Smith Collective more than you might expect. I believe couples deserve someone who is not only great behind the decks, but also organized, dependable, responsive, and genuinely invested in making their day run smoothly.
Most importantly, I love being part of celebrations. Every couple, family, and dance floor has its own personality, and that’s what keeps this exciting for me. My goal isn’t to make your wedding feel like every other wedding I’ve DJed. It’s to understand the people in the room, the music you love, and the atmosphere you want — and create a night that feels completely yours.
