Venue smelled like smoke, was impossible to contact, and the bartender did not ID. Would not recommend.
Bentley was WONDERFUL to work with. All of our needs were met and we are still being complimented on the beauty of the venue! Our day was absolutely perfect.
The Skylight is a very unique historical building with a lot of charm and beautiful architecture. Bentley and his staff were very flexible and easy to work with, making themselves ...
and the venue available around our planning and setup schedule for our wedding which we very much appreciated. We received many compliments on the venue! It is located in downtown Newark, Ohio, a very quaint little town about 40mins from Columbus. There are hotels within walking distance, it is very close to Denison University (great location for wedding portraits!) and Granville which has many historic inns and additional lodging options. Great resturants in the area to choose from for your guests. Check out The Buckingham House as a rehearsal dinner venue option just a couple miles away! We found The Skylight to be in an ideal location with a romantic and classic atmosphere!
