Patty and Jimmy are AWESOME! My wedding was July/18/2026.
The Venue
The venue is a large, beautiful space. They have it all lit up with fairy lights and gorgeous chandeliers. Ther...
e is room for over 200 people, and there is a dance floor area with generous space. Everything was so clean! Patty and Jimmy were able to help us with decorations too, from items they acquired from past weddings. Even with a large wedding, there was room for everyone to move around!
Food and Drink
The food was AMAZING! The catering is with Casa D'Angelo. Patty and Jimmy treated us to a menu tasting at the restaurant ahead of time. We had so much fun trying the Italian dishes, and it was hard to choose what items we wanted! Jimmy also brought out pizza at 9 pm. People LOVED it! The drinks were also delicious. They have a wide selection, and Patty even let us choose some signature cocktails for the evening!
The Service
Patty was with me every step of the way as I spent the last year planning this wedding. She always answered emails quickly. She is so kind and reassuring and an excellent problem solver!!
I cannot recommend Sherwood Forest Event Center enough! Thank you for everything!!!
I had my wedding here on 6/10/2023 and everything was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was able to visit the venue a few times to plan. Then visit their restaura...
nt to try and pick the food we wanted from their catering company which ended up amazing. They set up the tables and the reception area is absolutely beautiful that it did not need a lot of extra decor. They had a large bathroom with huge mirrors that my bridal party was able to touch up in, keep our stuff throughout the night and take some getting ready pictures since we did not have our photographer come to the house when we did get ready. I highly recommend this venue.
We had our 1984 BHS Class Reunion at the Event Center on Sept 21st 2024. The Staff met all of our needs & expectations.
Using the Event Center website for individual payment made i...
t very easy for our Committee.
We also were able to set up our class decorations early.
The Food was as I would expect from a D’Angelos Restaurant kitchen….Fantastic!
The Bar & Staff were exceptional.
I would recommend Sherwood Forest without reservation!

it to the final details went so smoothly. The menu met all of our guests needs from vegan to gluten free. The food was delicious! The venue is clean and looked beautiful with all the sparkle Patty has added. I highly recommend Patty and Jimmy to host your next event.
WOW! Jimmy & Patty are the BEST! Since the pandemic, it has been difficult to get excited about wedding planning. SHERWOOD made it seem like everything was right in the world. They...
were so thoughtful in helping us plan, flexible with all our vendors, their staff was AMAZING! All our guests raved about the food. It was the perfect day. Thanks to Patty & Jimmy for creating the wedding of our dreams! Please consider Patty & Jimmy at Sherwood for your next event!
Where to begin! First of all, my husband and I were so excited to use a venue that had such a great reputation in the past, and we felt honored to be part of it’s reopening. The re...
nevations are just lovely- both inside and out. We just love the view of the creek in the back. They also have plenty of parking available. We used the smaller space for our ceremony, followed by the larger area for the reception. Everything was decorated exactly how we wanted. They really worked with me to help me achieve my vision, including the set up of the reception space itself. The food for both cocktail hour and dinner was excellent and was brought up by our guests many times after. But most importantly, we really valued their expertise, their flexibility, and their attention to detail. While we welcomed their recommendations, they never imposed their opinions and worked hard with us to ensure our satisfaction. It turned out amazing, and we couldn’t have been happier.
