We love The Shakedown! Saw them at a friend's wedding in Raleigh/Durham and immediately knew we had to book them for our own wedding. Nash and his team provide excellent music with...
a "Blues Brothers" kind of vibe and are consummate professionals. They were able to add on a few song requests that aren't on their usual list, too, which was super special and made the event very personal. They even traveled all the way to Nags Head, NC for us, too. Their energy is awesome, and they are exceptional musicians! 10/10, would recommend for any event!
Nash, and the Shakedown are AMAZING!!! They were extremely professional, quick to respond to emails, and met with us in person. Nash even brought up things I hadn't even thought of...
, giving us great advice and suggestions which we used. We had partied with them a number of times before as they have performed for my sororities functions and we always had a good time. They organized our wedding music so beautifully! They performed an hour of cocktail hour music, and 4 hours of reception music. They had our guests dancing on the dance floor to AWESOME music the whole night. All of our guests asked us who they were and for their information. They play a great blend of oldies rock and roll, soul, R&B, and music today. It suits every generation and a 6 piece band is sure to class up any event! They sound great, even better than the original songs I think! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Nash is an excellent MC, and they provide all the lighting and equipment. They also provide dinner music and music played through their speakers for when they take a break, so there is never a silent moment. If you need a band, you need the Shakedown!
