Thank you so much to the Rub Bar-B-Que and Catering for catering our wedding day and our rehearsal dinner. This company is truly amazing, as they not only do BBQ food, but also oth...
er types of food as well. Their pricing was great and all based on the number of guests you have attending your event. All leftover food we were able to take home after our event, which was super nice! They have many different packages to fit your needs. We were very pleased with our experience with them.
We used the Rub to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier. Kristen was a joy to work with, very accomodating and helpful. Their price was much more reasonable than some of ...
the other BBQ places we looked at and the food was better than all of them! Multiple guests commented on how great the food was. Superb!
The Rub is absolutely amazing!! They brought there food truck to our wedding and served our guests so quickly! Everyone raved about the food. The best part of working with them was...
their ability to accommodate my gluten allergy and also create a custom menu that included Mexican food and cocktail hour appetizers as well. They provided all plates, cutlery, cake cutting, cake plates and the silverware for that as well. They are truly full service and incredible people to work with.
We totally scored booking The Rub Bar-B-Que for our wedding day! We were blown away at our tasting at how amazing the food was! Being big BBQ fans, The Rub had a lot to live up to!...
They didn't let us down! Our guests raved for months about how awesome our food was and how much they loved the burnt ends and pulled pork! We were so happy with the quality of every dish we chose, right down to the cornbread! I was stunned to hear that Kristen and her team work with couples who have a family side dish recipe (like grandma's mac and cheese) they want included in their menu too!
We were treated like family by Kristen! She was amazing to work with, even through changing our date due to Covid! She was prompt in answering all of our questions and set up check-ins with us to finalize every detail leading up to the big day, even understood the constant changes we had because of the pandemic. She made everything run so smooth! The buffet line was ready early, everything was hot and fresh, and looked sooo yummy! The staff we had onsite were professional, everything was picked up quickly and taken care of!
The quality and pricing of this vendor can not be beat!

mended to me by a friend that had used them for their wedding. We called and were able to set up a tasting right away. The manager at The Rub invited us to bring my parents along with us to the tasting which I thought was very nice. We walked in and sat down and they literally took care of everything for us. We were able to try everything on the menu (so MUCH food) which allowed us to make an educated decision on which meats and sides we wanted. Everything was perfect the day of our wedding. They were very accommodating to my every need/want and did not try to nickle and dime me for every request I made. We did buffet style, but paid a little extra to have servers to help bus tables and keep drinks full. It worked out great. The servers even cut and served the cake without being asked to. The Rub BBQ went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of! Thank you to Dan, Mike, & everyone at the Rub who helped us so much!
Hats off to Dan and his team at The Rub BBQ! Not only did they cater BBQ at our wedding, they also catered Mexican at our rehearsal, breakfast for our family the morning after our ...
wedding, made sure everything was Gluten Free, and met our budget! We had SO many compliments from Kansas City natives, which says a lot living in one of the biggest BBQ cities in the nation :) Thank you for delivering the best food, making it such an enjoyable experience, and for being such a pleasure to work with!
