Queenstown Harbor is a secret, but sublime hidden GEM on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We could not be happier with how our wedding weekend turned out! From the involved wedding planning to execution, we had a fantastic experience! Our guests are continuing to rave about the food, cocktails, service, attention to detail, and the Cottages. Booking all of the Cottages was one of the best decisions we made, having our friends and family on property with us, added to the joy and fun! It was truly a wedding weekend getaway! If you want a quintessential East Coast Wedding, this is the best choice you can make in the area! We cannot stop raving about the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, especially the day of. You could not ask for a better group of professionals. We could truly enjoy our day, as we knew and trusted them, and they delivered! We had the most joyous weekend and we are so thankful we made the choice to host our wedding at QH. Whatever you envision for your wedding day, let the lawn be your canvas! We loved our wedding day and are so thankful for everything we were able to do and enjoy. Don't hesitate on this venue!
Our wedding weekend at the River House truly could not have gone more perfectly. From day one, Katie, their Director of Events, and the rest of their team were incredibly warm, accommodating, and attentive. They took the time to really understand our vision, answer every question we had, and make sure every detail was handled so we could fully enjoy our weekend without having to worry. They also provided us with an incredible list of trusted vendors, several of whom we ultimately chose to work with. We’re so grateful for their thoughtful recommendations and for connecting us with such wonderful companies!
Having lodging right on site made everything so seamless for us, our bridal party, and our family and friends traveling in. It eliminated so much of the stress that can come with coordinating hotel blocks, transportation, and timing throughout the week, and it made the entire experience feel so much more intimate and convenient.
The food throughout the entire week was also absolutely incredible. There were so many wonderful options (highly recommend the braised ribs and crab cakes!), and we were so grateful for how accommodating the team was with additional choices for our vegetarian and vegan guests.
Ultimately, anyone who is looking for a waterfront, backyard-esq setup for wedding & reception, definitely reach out to Queenstown harbor. We loved working with them for about a year and a half to put together the greatest weekend we will cherish forever.
