We had our wedding at The Richland in August of this year, and it was great overall! The venue is small and charming but at the same time has plenty of space for guests to spread o...
ut and enjoy themselves. Michael, Katherine, and the support staff were extremely helpful and very attentive to our every need, question, and concern, promptly addressing each of the few issues that arose during our two day stay and throughout the wedding. The bridal suite was great! Plenty of mirrors, storage, and seating for everyone. The staff set out a variety of pastries, orange juice, champagne, and coffee for us - so nice! They also offer a cool looking trolley to shuttle guests back and forth from the Lemon parking structure leading up to the wedding.
The boutique hotel rooms are nicely designed and comfortable. We had to reserve a standard room the night before since they had another event going on. Unfortunately, the TV in that room never connected to their WiFi network, so we just set it as artwork and used our iPad for entertainment. We reserved the Cottage for the day of the wedding, which was perfect as a "getting ready"/ hang out area for the groomsmen. The TV there worked well and had no issues. The front door stuck a bit so you had to put some extra effort into closing it all the way. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and be comfortable.
We’re looking forward to staying here again in the future!
The Richland was literally the venue of our dreams! It was our first venue that we toured, and there was no question that this would be the place for our wedding. It has such charm...
, a perfect layout, and the whole staff is beyond amazing. It was rainy weather for our big day, and they were so prepared. I can’t thank The Richland enough! Also, I suggest couples stay overnight at the hotel. The Attic room is beyond beautiful!
From the moment we walked into The Richland we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The atmosphere was so homey, yet so professional and put together! The staff (Sarah, ...
Bree, and Anna) were incredible throughout all of planning. On the day of the wedding, it was so comforting to know that everything we needed -- and so many of our loved ones -- were right there on property. Cady (?) who was working Security the night of our wedding was so thoughtful and kind, going above and beyond to make sure we as a couple were taken care of. Really everyone at The Richland puts in that same level of care. The hotel rooms were the perfect, quiet retreat the night before and the night of our event. Thank you Richland!
Wow. That is how I have to start this review, because I believe we just had the most perfect wedding ever and so much of that was because of The Richland, 24 Carrot Catering, and o...
ur contact Bree. The Richland is truly such a beautiful venue! When we picked it, we knew we would not have to do much to it to make it feel like our space. Only minimal flowers were purchased. The table settings, linens, and natural look of the space was flawless! We could not have been more excited about it!
As for the food, when we sampled the 24 Carrots menu early on we were blown away, but you never know how it will turn out the day of. This may have been the best wedding food we have ever had! The appetizers and entrees were all delicious and piping hot and fresh! The serving crew did such an amazing job getting everyone their plated dinners out quickly and efficiently! Our guests were so blown away!
I also want to give a special shout out to Bree. She was our main point of contact during the whole year leading up to our wedding and she went above and beyond for us and did it with a warm smile and a bright disposition the entire time! Thank you so much to Bree and everyone at The Richland for making our wedding day truly special!
