Terrible follow through, lack of information and communication. The wait staff itself was amazing- the planners and coordinators with more of a hassle helpful.

e at the Clubhouse. We had warmer than usual weather for September, so we were able to open the doors to the outside deck, and people loved hanging out there during cocktail hour and the reception. We also had a welcome party at Murphy Farm on the Friday evening before the wedding, which was such a wonderful way to spend extra time with family and friends. We even got to connect our phone to their speaker system and have a dance party outside near the fire pits (yes, they have fire pits, and they were such a huge hit!).
The events and facilities staff at the Quechee Club set up everything perfectly. Lacey, the coordinator, is a JOY to work with. I probably sent her a hundred questions throughout our wedding planning, and she always answered so quickly and thoroughly. She accommodated all of our requests and made everything so easy and stress-free! Everything the day-of ran so smoothly. Chef Charles is amazing, and our food was DELICIOUS. He also accommodated our special meal requests. Everyone has been telling us how beautiful our venue was, and how much fun they had. I highly recommend that you take the time to check out the Quechee Club if you are looking for a beautiful setting to host your Vermont wedding!
We are so pleased that we picked the Quechee Club as our wedding venue! My husband’s parents are members of the club and we’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and food there (and the...
stunning views!). Michelle was a fantastic coordinator and was on top of everything throughout the planning process, even though we were living abroad and/or out of state for most of our planning. Our guests complimented us on the venue, food, and the whole experience countless times. We have absolutely no regrets that we chose the Quechee Club for our special day!

hat we had hoped for.
My husband and I got married in Boston on a Wednesday morning and then headed up to Quechee for a few days of fun with our guests before our reception at the Club on Saturday night. The Quechee Club helped so many of our out-of-town guests find lodging in their beautiful and spacious condos around town. The Club was also integral to a lot of our activities -- from golfing to relaxing by the pool. Our guests loved Quechee so much that everyone wants to come back and have a reunion next summer!
Most importantly, our reception in the main dining room was like a dream come true. Deborah Colt, the event planner at the Club, is a saint -- incredibly caring, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to make your day unbelievably perfect. We so enjoyed all of our planning conversations with her and knew from the start that she genuinely cares about her clients. She really helped my mom and me to relax in the days prior to the reception by handling all of the decoration (and making everything look BEAUTIFUL!).
The food at the Club is OUTSTANDING. We loved our tasting session and our guests were raving about the high quality of everything from the appetizers to the desserts!
And, of course, there is nowhere more beautiful to have a wedding reception if you love Vermont. The golf course made for a stunning backdrop (both for our photo shoot and for cocktail hour on the deck), and everyone fell in love with Vermont thanks to the hospitality of the Club.
A million thanks and warm hugs to Deborah and the rest of the team for making our day so wonderful!
When my finace and I began planning our wedding, we knew it had to be in Vermont. I'm originally from the Green Mountain State and have family there. Having them at our wedding was...
so important to my fiance and I. As we began the search for our reception venue, we quickly became discouraged at the sheer amount of money places were charging. It seemed almost impossible to get both value and atmosphere. Thankfully, we found The Quechee Club. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed the staff's warmth and professionalism. The banquet space for our cocktail hour and dinner were beautiful, overlooking the golf course and Green Mountains.
Working with Deborah Colt was a dream. She was responsive to any questions or concerns which arose, and led us every step of the way through the entire wedding planning process. Her warmth, compassion, and flexibility were appreciated during stressful moments, and her enthusiasm for her job shone though as the big day approached.
On our wedding day, a microburst blew through Quechee, knocking out power to many hotels, restaurants, and area businesses, including parts of the Quechee Club. As my new husband and I entered the beautiful foyer of the club, Deborah and Miranda were there to congratulate us. They also broke the news the club had lost partial power. They were quick to assure us the kitchen was working so dinner would not be affected, but my first question was, "Can we dance?" Thankfully, we could dance, eat, drink and celebrate!
The entire staff was incredibly professional during the unexpected power outage, and didn't miss a beat. My husband and I received tons of positive feedback from our guests about how wonderful the reception was: the food was delicious, the drinks strong, the staff courteous and professional. We were so thankful to have chosen The Quechee Club to celebrate our wedding weekend! Everything from the rehearsal dinner, to the reception, to the breakfast buffet was amazing and seamless!
I had my wedding reception in the main dining room at the Quechee Club and was blown away by the room setup and how perfectly everything flowed. Michelle, the manager, was amazing ...
to work with- very organized, responsive, and level-headed at all points in our planning process! She was awesome! The room was set up beautifully and the staff were exceptional. We had 150 guests and it was the perfect size room- intimate but not overcrowded. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you, Quechee Club!!

The Quechee Club was a lovely place for out cocktail hour and wedding reception. They were great with allowing us time to set up all of our decorations prior to the event. The food...
was very delicious and reasonable in price.
I communicated with their "wedding coordinator" many times and despite my many repeated requests and instructions there were a few issues that i am still not happy or impressed with. My only advise to a bride looking to have your reception here is to make sure you get everything in writing and signed so there are no discrepancies.
I would highly recommend the Quechee Club along with Michelle Dougherty for any event...everything and anything we could need, want, wish for we got and with a friendly smile, and ...
comment what else can we do...
Always dreamed as a little girl of the possibility of having my wedding in Quechee and it all came true from the little church, the horse drawn carriage to the perfect setting for dining and dancing...Hats off to Chef Morgan for the most amazing food...it was delicious...everyone is still talking about it... Thank you again to Michelle and Chef Morgan for making all of our dreams come true... could be done with out you both...

ut her that is laid back, yet super organized at the same time. Our ceremony was outdoors, at Murphy Farm, and it was absolutely beautiful, and then our reception was back at the club. We were really happy with our menu, how the room was set up, everything. I can't say it enough, Julie was absolutely amazing to work with, and she really helped us have an amazing wedding.
