The Pines of Alvarado is a stylish barn and farm venue situated in Alvarado, TX that hosts weddings and other milestone occasions. Owners and sisters Arielle Tax and Lexi Bowles founded this establishment in 2017 and welcome couples looking for their dream wedding venue. This duo invites you to consider this elegant setting for the backdrop of your special day. Lexi and Arielle established The Pines of Alvarado, a wood and stone building tucked in between lawns and trees, with weddings very much in mind. These friendly professionals understood the importance of each couple’s festivities and created a venue where nuptial dreams could come true. Lexi’s interior design experience and Arielle’s marketing and management background coalesce to form a great combination for their clients. Their exquisite venue is only a 30-minute drive from downtown Fort Worth and a 45-minute drive from downtown Dallas. Out-of-state visitors may avail of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, less than an hour away. The Pines of Alvarado hosts a variety of special events including wedding ceremonies, civil unions, vow renewals, receptions, and more. Lexi and Arielle offer wedding services in a range of packages to suit your requirements and taste. All packages include the use of an outdoor ceremony area, outdoor reception area, and indoor reception area. Additionally, you will have access to get-ready rooms and a kitchen, along with the use of a public address system. Depending on your selections, the owners will provide day-of coordination services, additional venue time, and the use of the tables and chairs. You can look forward to this delightful country setting for your dream wedding.

The only critique I have is that I suggest hiring a DJ with their own sound system; we tried using our sound system with our own playlist to dance to but the sound system was shot. Other than that I can’t recommend this venue enough!

g was very attractive. It was 99 degrees when we arrived at the venue, but the room was cool and comfortable. The catering kitchen worked well (our caterer loved it) and included a freezer, which was really nice since we served ice cream for our groom's treat. The kitchen also worked very well as our bar, with a convenient place to put a large frozen margarita machine. We loved having the ability to provide our own alcohol and appreciated the Pines providing the (required) security officers. We did put one row of pipe and drape up so bar goers didn't see the catering work going on behind the drape. The room was large enough to seat 130 guests for a dinner buffet - with adequate space to move about. There was also room for multiple "specialty" tables and a dance floor. There are giant barn doors that were perfect for entrance of the wedding party, as well as for the sparkler send off. A large window at the far end of the building let in ample natural lighting. The building was spotless every time we were there and they had ample tables, chairs, and cloths to meet our needs. The building is rustic in design, but became really pretty with minimal decorations - especially once the strings lights were turned on. Kylie was great to work with. She was flexible, responsive and attentive. Her knowledge and suggestions (when solicited) were invaluable. We are so glad we found the Pines of Alvarado. It was definitely worth the short drive from the metroplex.

Not only did Kylie and her team keep a constant open line of communication with us, but she also answered any and all questions our coordinator had as well! The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the bridal suite was every girls dream, and even the guys had a comfortable groom suite to hang out in and watch football! er wanted for her special day. There are only two public restroom stalls which could be a challenge for a very large group, but it was fine for our medium sized crowd. There is an outside ceremony area and a cocktail area that both are wonderful spots for an outdoor ceremony. Due to the extreme Texas heat, we choose an indoor ceremony in front of the large barn doors and it turned out wonderful. So many of our guest commented on how great it was. I highly recommend this beautiful venue and would definitely use them again if the need arises.

cohol for the toast and that's it! So maybe an hour or 2 they would of been needed. Let them know that was too much then said they can do $60/hr instead. Since we felt forced to hire security we decided to serve alcohol and not just for the toast. They then let me know we would only need the security for the hours the alcohol and not the 7hrs they had said before. Honestly I felt they were just making up prices and didn't really seem to care about my event only cause I got the cheaper package. They wouldn't answer phone calls or messages immediately and nobody was at the venue physically in case we needed help. The AC broke down who knows how long. Was notified by the security guard. He asked me if I wanted to cool off in the groom suite let him know we didn't have access to that area. Didn't want to risk management making it a big deal. He told me not to worry about them and to go cool off. The least they could of done is returned our deposit which I was never notified why we didn't get it. It shouldn't matter what package a customer gets or what kind of event someone is having they're all equally important. Although the venue is very beautiful, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
