The Parklands of Floyds Fork

We had an amazing experience with Gheens Foundation Lodge at The Parklands of Floyds Fork and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique indoor/outdoor wedding venue that isn't a traditional barn venue. From the very beginning, the staff was attentive, responsive, and always willing to help, whether it was during the planning process or accommodating our last-minute visits to the venue. A special shoutout goes to Toni, who was absolutely fantastic to work with from start to finish. She made the entire process smooth and was always available to answer questions and offer assistance. The venue itself is beautiful. The outdoor ceremony area provides a stunning natural backdrop, and the indoor reception space is pristine, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. Throughout our planning process and on our wedding day, the facilities were exceptionally clean and in excellent condition. There were a few aspects we would have liked to see handled differently. Catering must be selected from a pre-approved vendor list. While we would have appreciated a wider selection of caterers, we ultimately were very happy with the vendor we chose. We also had to coordinate linens and additional rental items through Rental Depot, which added another vendor to manage but overall worked out well. Our biggest concern was the additional cost for the party lights inside the reception space. We felt these should have been included in the venue rental fee, especially given the significant additional expense. On the other hand, renting outdoor ceremony chairs was reasonably priced and easy to arrange. Overall, the venue is exceptionally beautiful, well-maintained, and supported by an outstanding staff. The combination of the scenic outdoor ceremony space and elegant indoor reception area made it the perfect setting for our wedding. We would absolutely recommend Gheens Foundation Lodge and The Parklands of Floyds Fork to future couples looking for a distinctive and memorable wedding venue.

We had a late August wedding and it was the perfect venue. It was beautiful and the staff was so helpful in the planning. I had no idea what we would need and they talked me through each step. It was the perfect venue to have a quick outdoor ceremony and then come inside to celebrate. They made it perfect!
