Andy was absolutely wonderful! My wedding was flawless and everyone had a great time! He made every step easy from picking the food, which was delicious, to his working with our bu...
dget to make sure we had the best day possible for a great deal!
The bad reviews were off putting but I’m so glad I didn’t listen. Andy and his team ensured my wedding day was an absolute dream. Very reasonable prices and Andy is so attentive. T...
hroughout the process he answered any and all of my questions and never seemed frustrated. He made sure my guests all had a great time and that the outside was photo ready for our professional photographer. I would highly recommend this venue and if ever I’m throwing another party I’d definitely give him a call.
If I could give zero I would. Andy is extremely rude. I’m so glad we aren’t using his venue, it would be miserable! I contacted him via the knot to request information, instead of ...
replying, he added my email to a mailing list and emailed my personal email without my permission. This was on July 20. From then until September 3, I have received countless emails, asking when I want to come in. I responded in early August, saying we booked a venue and are no longer interested and I still received emails. I emailed him again on September 3. I said that we had chosen another venue, and were no longer interested. I thanked him for reaching out, and again wanted to clarify we were no longer interested, and I requested to be removed from the mailing list. His response was ‘you do not have to get huffy, it is just an email, life is to short’. I replied saying I have been very respectful and courteous throughout all my emails, where he has not. I asked him to not contact me again. His response was ‘you very huffy, you have a great life, you do not contact me again’. He is disrespectful and unprofessional and I imagine a complete nightmare to work with. I want to give a warning to all brides looking, DO NOT use this venue.
From the beginning, the manager Andy was straightforward and easy to work with. He prefers to get in touch with people by phone instead of email, so give them a call if you need in...
fo! It was obvious that he was trying to get us the best price and that we would get our money’s worth. We attended a food tasting and got to try all of the delicious food for ourselves before making our final menu selection. The venue was one of the biggest I had found to accommodate our large wedding. Overall our experience was great quality, reasonably priced, and Andy was there when we needed him to make sure all the details of our reception ran well but he was never overbearing or in the way.
Andy was a little hard to deal with but he made the day absolutely perfect
Our ceremony and reception at the Oaks was beautiful. Andy was great to work with and helped us through the entire process from planning up until the very end. The food was great a...

Andy was fantastic to work with from start to finish! He was efficient in answering any questions we had, and he did not hesitate to jump on the phone whenever we had questions. Th...
e venue offered the affordability and feel we wanted. Throughout the day of the wedding, Andy actively functioned as an event coordinator keeping the parties and other vendors in order from a time standpoint. The staff were friendly and swift to provide assistance, food or whatever was needed throughout the event. So glad we picked this venue for our day!
I wanted to warn all of the brides about this venue. Don't use it. The manager of this venue is uncouth, crass, crazy, immature, simple-minded, and rude. In the conversation belo...
w he actually argues gets mad when I tell him that I will not be using his venue. I even texted him by cell to explain this. In the conversation accuses me and challenges my character. This is not someone you want managing your special day. I will give the venue with cemetery behind and the manager, 0 stars. When he wrote "I not a hater" in capital letters, I laughed until I was in tears.
Manager: Hello,

I could not have been happier with my reception venue. The food and service was out of this world. Andy and his staff are most helpful. We had over 265 guests at our wedding and...
the food service went so smoothe. The Oaks is by far the best bang for your buck. I got married on April 30, 2011 and I continue to get phone calls telling me it was some of the best food they have ever had.
If you can have your reception here, I suggest you do so!
Everything about the Oaks Ballroom was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone.
They were helpful, efficient and affordable.
Everyone loved the food.;The walls in the entrance is an ugly bright yellow.
