The Monte Bello Estate was the absolute perfect venue for our August wedding. The grounds are absolutely stunning at that time of year and everything was so green and bloomed. Everywhere we looked we could take a picture due to the stunning scenery. We got married in the forest and couldn’t have asked for a better background and ceremony. We got so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was! Our reception and cocktail hour were also great! Our guests couldn’t stop ranting and raving about how good the food and drinks were. Some even went to say it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Everything turned out amazing, and the entire planning team was so nice to work with from start to finish. We are so grateful for Lauren, who was our lead planner and venue coordinator throughout this process. Without her, our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was. She answered so many questions every week for us, and on the day of jumped right in to helping set last minute things up, and facilitated the day better than I could have ever asked for! I would highly recommend this venue and team to anyone looking to get married in the suburbs of Chicago! It truly captured all of our wants and needs for our wedding and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make it such an amazing day!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Monte Bello Estate! One of my favorite things about the venue was being able to get ready on site and have our entire wedding day unfold in one place. We had our ceremony at the gazebo, which was absolutely beautiful, and our cocktail hour looked stunning. Moving from one space to another throughout the day felt effortless and seamless. They also had golf carts available to transport guests from the parking lot to the ceremony site, which was such a thoughtful touch and made things easier for our guests. One of the biggest things that gave me peace of mind when choosing Monte Bello was knowing that even if it rained, our wedding would still be beautiful. We had a May wedding, so rain was always a very real possibility, but I genuinely never felt overly worried about it. The inside of the venue is gorgeous on its own, and all of the windows still allow you to see the beautiful scenery while bringing in so much natural light. Even more importantly, their backup indoor ceremony space does not feel like a “Plan B.” It is beautiful in its own right and still allows for that grand entrance moment I had always envisioned. Knowing I would be happy with either ceremony option took so much weather-related stress out of the planning process. I was also initially nervous about the food because that was such an important part of the guest experience for us. Attending both the food tasting and Raise the Bar event made me feel even more confident in our venue choice. And somehow, the food was even better on our wedding day than it was at the tasting, if you can believe it! We were so happy with everything. Another one of my favorite things about Monte Bello was their network of vendors. They work with so many amazing vendors and provided recommended vendors from the very beginning. Having vendors who already knew the property and were familiar with the venue helped bring our entire wedding together perfectly and made the planning process so much easier. Communication was amazing as well. I honestly didn't have many questions in the beginning, but naturally, as we got closer to the big day, we had more questions and a few last-minute things come up. The team was always incredibly responsive and answered us quickly, which gave us so much peace of mind during those final weeks. Abbey was absolutely amazing and worked with our wedding planner day of to give us the most perfect day. Monte Bello gave us the romantic garden wedding we envisioned while also making the logistics of the day feel incredibly easy. From getting ready on site, to our gazebo ceremony, to cocktail hour and the reception, everything flowed beautifully. Our guests loved the venue, the food was amazing, and our photos turned out gorgeous. We couldn't be happier that we chose Monte Bello Estate for our wedding day and would absolutely choose it again.

Ideal for couples that are looking for simple elegance in nature, The Monte Bello Estate offers over 55 acres to get creative with. Its breathtaking landscaping and architecture creates a fairytale aesthetic to make you feel like you’re stepping in another world. You and up to 250 guests can enjoy the grounds, which are home to over 145 varieties of planted flowers. Among the colorful onsite gardens is a peaceful waterfall with natural stone decorations for a tranquil setting. Their indoor ceremony space is adorned with crystal chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, giving your guests a full view of the woodlands. For outdoor ceremonies, you and your partner can exchange your vows underneath a wrought iron gazebo surrounded by mature trees. Well-manicured lawns and waterfront docks are present throughout the property, available for photo sessions, cocktail hours, and receptions. Your wedding entourage will be welcome to use the spacious dressing suites, with lounge furniture and various games to play away the prenuptial jitters. I have benefited from floating through several other positions before becoming the director of events by being able to fully understand the urgency and detail that goes into making each and every event a success from all aspects. Working hands on with my clients and executing each event to reflect their individual wants and needs is something I truly love. My staff would point out that you can always find me smiling. I am laid back and high energy, but I have a no-nonsense approach to ensuring that each event is exactly what the client envisions and more.

there was this magical feeling and we all looked at each other like “this is it”. It’s so perfectly whimsical and just breathtakingly beautiful. Like seriously, I still have guests months later gushing about how they felt like they had walked into a fairytale wedding. The grounds and landscapes are perfectly manicured and the inside is no different as far as attention to detail and stunning design. Aside from its beauty, the service and team at Monte Bello is truly outstanding. They made the already stressful planning SO easy and helped us every. step. of. the. way. Huge shoutout to Abbey (Director of Sales & Events) who answered our every question, whether big or small, with such care and detail. If you are someone who appreciates fast replies and to feel like you were heard, you will love the team at Monte Bello. It can be nerve-wrecking knowing there are many moving parts to such a big event, but seeing how it came together that day, largely due to Monte Bello’s attention to detail, was so satisfying and emotional in the best way possible. We loved even how beautiful and unique the food tasting event was (they had a harpist there who we ended up hiring for our wedding!). We weren’t able to attend their Raise the Bar event for engaged couples getting married at Monte Bello but they graciously allowed a couple of our family members to attend in our absence and help us decide on cocktail selections. Another very important thing: the FOOD was amazing! From the hors d’oeuvres to the main entree and sides, everything was delicious. This is another thing our guests still bring up and appreciated. We especially loved our mini grilled cheese shooters with tomato soup :) Before you make your grand entrance as a married couple, they give you and your partner a moment alone together and bring you a plate of hors d’oeuvres that you may have missed during cocktail hour which was such a sweet detail. They also work so well with your vendors and communicate with them as needed. Speaking of vendors, Monte Bello provided a list of recommended vendors, and I was blown away by how amazing they were. It felt like they were an extension of the venue itself—professional, kind, and truly wonderful to work with. It’s obvious they choose their partners with great care and attention to detail. All in all, I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Monte Bello and their team. If you are considering them as a venue, I promise you they will not disappoint. Thank you Monte Bello for the most beautiful day of our lives!!!

n that day finally came. Within a few days of the proposal, we had reached out and scheduled a meeting at the Estate with Lauren. We toured the following weekend and booked that same day without seeing any other venue which we never had any qualms about! The worst part about the Monte Bello (and I mean this SO lightly) is the high-demand and the long wait for a Saturday in the summer. However, the wait was incredibly beyond worth it!! The venue staff could not be any more amazing. While I primarily worked with Lauren, every single person we worked with at the Monte Bello from event coordinators, bar/catering staff, etc were so kind and helpful. Lauren deserves her own shout out, though! Any time something went slightly wrong with a vendor or the schedule, Lauren was always there to offer a listening ear and fix anything within her power. I didn’t worry about a single thing on my wedding day because I trusted her so much! On top of that, she felt like a friend and my whole family bonded with her. She is the absolute best, and words don’t properly describe how wonderful it was to work with her!! In addition, the grounds are stunning and photograph beautifully, the food was great, the service was perfect, and the list goes on. We couldn’t ask for a better place to gather our loved ones! Both my husband and I (plus our families) received so many compliments on things solely attributed to The Monte Bello, and we are so grateful that we were able to celebrate our love story there. Bello Estate truly had everything we needed all in one spot. Two large separate areas for the girls and the guys to get ready, several gorgeous options for ceremony spots and a stunning reception room with beautiful views of the outdoors. On top of that, the staff at the Monte Bello Estate is top notch and are pros at having a wedding run smoothly! From start to finish, the staff at Monte Bello Estate were very accommodating. Quick to respond to all our emails and extremely helpful throughout the planning process. We had the pleasure of working with Abbey, Kristina and Lauren. On the day of my wedding, Abbey and Kristina checked in on me multiple times to make sure everything was going the way it should and if there was anything I needed. ace special. This venue somehow combines rolling green hills, beautiful trees, and a beautiful estate and as soon as you pull up you will quickly understand how stunning The Monte Bello is. We met with Lauren for our tour/meeting and she made our decision even easier! Lauren is incredibly nice, informative, and helpful, and she remained that way throughout our entire wedding planning process. She really is the best and we made sure to tell the owner of The Monte Bello the same thing towards the end of our wedding when he popped in to see how everything was going. Beyond the amazing grounds and staff, the estate itself is absolutely gorgeous. They had made some renovations to the estate, reception area, and bathrooms prior to our wedding and all the updates they made were a 10/10. We had our ceremony in the “forest” location, which was amazing, with a champagne/water station for guests to grab a drink on their way to get seated. The reception was inside and all of our 200+ guests fit perfectly (shoutout Lauren for being so helpful with arranging the tables and making the most of the space!). We have received so many compliments on the food and drinks, whether it was the hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinners, desserts, or our wedding cake, everything was outstanding. We really can’t recommend The Monte Bello Estate enough. It is such a beautiful venue, there’s no way you would ever regret having your wedding here. The amount of compliments we’ve received since the wedding are countless and we are so happy we had our wedding here. We feel so grateful for the team making the whole process so easy!! Our big day in August 2023 was everything we hoped for and so much more, the most magical day of our lives!! With all of the awesome renovations, we along with our favorite people got to enjoy the most elegant and unforgettable experience. The bridal and groom suites had the exact vibes we were going for, aesthetically beautiful for the gals and fun games for the guys, which made us feel so relaxed that we genuinely enjoyed the time with our wedding party while getting ready. We intentionally opted to have our ceremony inside, and it was the perfect intimate moment in which all of our 180 guests fit comfortably. There are so many gorgeous photo ops, and everything is so perfectly laid out that it felt totally natural to pause for photos and continue the fun. The outdoor cocktail hour space was unique to enjoy the grounds more, and our guests loved it!! The food was delicious, and thanks to the lovely MBE “Raise the Bar” event, we had the best additions to our bar and late night snacks. The service team was on point and took care of everything! We would take any excuse to go back, we love Monte Bello & the team so much!! We can’t recommend booking this venue enough.

n and the whole team last minute changed my ceremony location due to the rain and set everything up in a new spot outside by the clock tower so my guests would be able to walk on concrete and not the wet grass. That is the upside of choosing this venue, it is so large there are so many options and no matter what it will be beautiful! My guests raved how delicious the food was, I had multiple guests the next day and even weeks after telling me it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Our signature cocktails we chose were a hit and our guests enjoyed them throughout cocktail hour and the reception! Lauren our venue coordinator eased all my stress the day of and she was so attentive to me and my family. After the ceremony the venue had mine and my husbands favorite drinks on standby and a tray of appetizers for us. My mom even wanted a different white wine from what they were serving and they grabbed it for her right away! Before the wedding day the venue even does events so you can have your food tasting and then a separate day to experience their signature cocktails and desserts and see the add-ins you can include for your wedding day. The guest bathrooms were just remodeled as well and made a great backdrop for my guests to take pictures in! The reception space, the big glass windows, and the landscaping made for a perfect day that we will always remember! I cannot emphasize enough how happy we were with the Monte Bello Estate for our wedding!

The many different spots on site at Monte Bello make it versatile and a place where you can host getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour, pictures and the reception while continuing to switch up your location and views. The food and drinks were incredible (we even added on extra hors d'oeuvres we couldn’t narrow it down). I can’t express enough how amazing this place is and choosing The Monte Bello was EASILY the best decision I made throughout wedding planning. We added on the early access with the mimosas and beer bucket, the bonfire and smores, the yard games, the sparklers and some special wine. It was so worth it. We were able to effortlessly get ready at the estate while some family helped set up special items for the reception. They even reached out to our favorite brewery to get our favorite beer as our signature drink that they were able to serve at the bar during cocktail hour and the reception. The food was great and my guests raved about it! Everyone is still talking about every aspect of the wedding. I 1000% recommend having your wedding here. It was truly the best night of my life. You won’t regret it.

We had the ceremony outside (was also a beautiful option inside if it rained) and then had the reception inside in the beautiful enclosed white tent. This made the whole day go a lot smoother because we did not have to leave. We booked the venue months before they began all of the renovations and I was quite nervous about what it would look like afterwards because of all of the changes. BUT, I was in awe after the renovations. I didn't think it was possible, but it was even more stunning than before! I received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and different it was. The staff there is also amazing and very helpful. Abbey, especially went above and beyond at trying to make our special day perfect. I cannot recommend the Monte Bello Estate enough!

we saw it. First of all, the outside is absolutely stunning- no matter which way you turn there’s a prime photo backdrop. Secondly, the built in bridal and groom suites are amazing. The bridal suite is designed for getting ready with a separate area with mirrors and vanity, built in rod for the perfect wedding dress photo. The grooms suite is the perfect man cave, with a poker table, pool and foosball tables and signed jerseys and guitars hung up all around. The venue also renovated in between us signing and the day of our wedding and they made it even better than I could have ever imagined- a lot more neutral walls for photos and a women’s bathroom that was jaw dropping when I saw it for the first time. Throughout our planning process, we worked closely with Abbey who was nothing but helpful and amazing. She was so communicative and always answered my hundreds of questions promptly. Food tasting went swimmingly and the Raise the Bar event (cocktail and wine tasting for signature cocktails and add ons) was so fun. Throughout these events, it was so clear how dedicated the entire team is to making sure we have the best wedding possible. The real tell was the day of the wedding. I’ve heard that most venue coordinators don’t do all that much the day of in terms of helping with third party vendors so that was my expectation going in: I didn’t have a wedding planner so I had assigned all my bridesmaids tasks just in case anything needed to be done. Let me just say- Abbey and the other venue staff took care of everything. All the vendors (florist, photobooth rental, band) came and set up seamlessly without me needing to think twice about it. Abbey even helped with coordinating the timing for the professional during the ceremony. We and all our guests had a blast, the food and drinks were amazing. We got so many compliments on everything, especially our signature cocktails! If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I seriously cannot recommend Monte Bello enough!

Our guests continue to rave about our big day almost 6 months after the wedding. The immaculate grounds, bridal + grooms suite, and knowing we were the only wedding there on the day of were some of our favorite aspects that made it an easy decision to pick the Monte Bello. listic people and wanted a good back up plan. When it rains at other outdoor sites, you're either outside rain or shine or they shove you in a corner somewhere. Not the Monte Bello! We loved that ALL five of their ceremony sites are absolutely gorgeous, including the indoor site. We loved that they had drapery up already, a flower wall, and actually pretty carpet that would go with any color scheme. We got so many complements on our decorations and how our whole setup looked, and besides flowers, it was all the Monte Bello in her natural elegance. We also loved that they are purely a wedding venue. This means that they had special events for all the 2022 weddings, including a bar upgrade party and a tasting party. It also means that we were the only guests there the day of. We worked with Abbey leading up to our wedding and she was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Abbey and Emma tag teamed our wedding as venue coordinators on the day of. They helped us hook up music to the houses sound system for getting ready, ensured all of the tables, chairs, linens etc were set up, had a golf cart at the ready for me (the bride) and guests who couldn't walk as well, and made sure that we always had a drink and food during the reception. They literally think of everything. We would recommend the Monte Bello to ALL our friends.
