- Annie FritzSales ManagerI'm a Texas hill country native with a passion for people! There's nothing I love more than connecting with couples to help them find their dream venue. I believe every wedding should be personal, joyful, and unforgettable - and I'm here to make sure your experience with our venue reflects that.
- French CowboysCompanyFranklin and Dylan, better known as the French Cowboys, grew up between two cultures, with French roots and American spirit. When we moved to Texas to follow our dreams of becoming entrepreneurs and hoteliers, we quickly fell in love with the Hill Country, the rolling hills, historic towns, and the kind of hospitality that just makes you feel at home. We started French Cowboys to bring something fresh and different to the Hill Country. Properties that are design-forward, welcoming, and grounded in the character of the places they belong to. Every space we create is meant to feel like a true escape: warm, relaxed, and full of little details that make it special. Our goal? To celebrate the charm of the Hill Country and share it with a new generation of travelers.

We’ve been having our family reunions at Meyer for years - we just keep coming back. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. AC is nice and cold. Reliable internet is a plus, though we spent most of our time with family in the main eve...
nt space. Walk to antique shops and some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. And the pool! The pool is fantastic and gets used a lot since our reunion is always on late June. Service is awesome and available at short notice. Really enjoy this place.

We had an amazing stay!! Our Creek side room was super comfy and the little deck off the back was a perfect place to watch the storm roll in. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and I did not want to get out of it.😁 We brought our little pup ...
with us and there was a cute little adventure pack waiting for him. He felt very special and it made his day.The pool area was nice and relaxing and we got to enjoy it for a bit before the weather turned bad.We will definitely be back and I 100% recommend to anyone looking for accommodations in Comfort!

The grounds take you back to a time of southern plantations with grand cypresses towering over a creek side swing. Their environment was peaceful and soothing. A wonderful little getaway where you can shed the stress of city life. (Great antiqu...

For as old as this hotel is, it was very nice. We stayed in the Premier King Creekside Cottage. The building itself is very aged, but the room was extremely clean. The linens were very clean, the floors and bathroom all nicely clean. The scre...
ened in porch was very nice, although there are some holes in the screen that need to be patched. The sliding door’s handle was cracked and completely broke off when we were re-entering the room. I sent a picture of it to the staff and they responded immediately and set up a time for their grounds manager Pete to come look at it. They even discounted our room a bit for the inconvenience.
There was a wedding there the night we arrived and I was concerned the noise from it would be going on all night but they have a strict quiet time rule at 10pm and it was enforced for the wedding as well. So the night was very peaceful. I was very impressed by that.
But the biggest thing I was impressed with was the customer service. Every question and concern I had that I had text them about was immediately addressed and also each message I received was written with such respect and courtesy.
There is no doubt in my mind that we will return there to stay. We had an extremely relaxing visit. Thank you especially to Carol and Pete for your outstanding customer service!

Our experience at The Meyer Hotel was fair. My wife and I wanted to provide well-rounded feedback for perspective if you're considering this hotel.
Some of the Pros:
- The "room" we stayed in was half of a small house, so we had quite a bit o...
f space (2 rooms and a bathroom)
- The location of the hotel was very near coffee shops and simple shopping in easy walking distance
- The property is quite large, so if you like roaming on the property, that is a benefit
- The room had the typical amenities of a basic hotel room
- Communication with the staff by text was good and well timed
Some of the Cons:
- We came for our wedding anniversary. We were expecting more like refined antique in the hotel (like a higher end B&B), but it leaned more towards just "old" (i.e. old furniture, ceiling fans with orange lights). When I saw the room, I had to create a spin on how to explain it to my wife so she wouldn't be disappointed (that didn't quite work)
- For the price point of the room, we did expect a more refined experience, so that was a disappointment.
- Our expectation was set from the website. We just expected a more polished hotel room and stay and didn't have that.
So overall, we called our experience "fair". You may be looking for a simpler experience with the convenience to shopping and coffee shops. This location did provide that. Just look at the pictures carefully. I'll also include some of my pictures so you have my realistic view of the room we stayed in (which I think was considered a suite).
