We worked with The Marsels for our wedding and had an amazing experience. Dwight (the lead singer) is fun and incredibly engaging, which helped our guests have a blast.
We had th...
em do live music for the ceremony / cocktail hour as well as a reception. Everyone loved the music! We had folks ranging from 21-80 at the wedding, and there was something for everyone.
They were also very adaptive to our needs - they helped with the full A/V setup, allowed us to use our own playlist for the dinner, supported M/C coverage for speeches, and were generally very easy to work with. We also found them to be an affordable live band option given the size of the group and the amount of time we had them playing music.
Would highly recommend this band! If you’re on the fence and want to see them play live first - go see them light up the crowd at The Cantab in Central Square!

g in July 2018 and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. they let some of the guests sing and rap and dance on stage and it made my wedding all that it was. they play all around Boston as well, you will NOT be disappointed.
The Marsels have played at several of my cousins' weddings and are a huge hit with my family, so they were the obvious choice for our wedding in June. They will play everything you...
want to hear at a wedding... Shout, Love Train, Sweet Caroline, Uptown Funk... lots of mo-town inspiration. It will please the older and younger crowds! I have been to 5 weddings they have played at, including my own, and every time, the dance floor was packed. They are FUN too. One of my favorite memories from my wedding day was when my new husband and I got up on stage and belted out Uptown Funk. The Marsels also learned our entrance song, Signed Sealed Delivered (Stevie Wonder), and our first dance song, The Only One Who Gets Me (Charles Kelley) - both of which were so well done. Highly recommend this band!
