About this vendor
I am Brooke Bakogeorge, the owner and officiant of The Marriage Mate, a wedding officiant company based in Raymond, WA, yet servicing the greater PNW. I take great joy in serving couples as they celebrate their love for one another on their long-anticipated day. So, you've decided to tie the knot. Way to go! Now, you are entering the world of countless things to do with very little time to do them, but I can help! Would you like to experience a stress-free, easygoing, lovely ceremony? At The Marriage Mate, I have a variety of ceremony packages and styles to choose from. Whether you are planning a regal ceremony with hundreds of guests or a quaint little gathering, I can provide the service, professionalism, and quality that you desire. Let's ease some of the wedding jitters and work together to make an unforgettable moment for you and your partner.
Your wedding ceremony will be in your style and chosen location. It can be a non-denominational or civil ceremony reflecting your taste or family traditions. Simple or elaborate, formal or informal, the wedding can occur indoors or out, at a house, hotel, park, or elsewhere. Occasionally, couples choose a small, private ceremony in their home or garden.
A couple begins by contacting us by phone or e-mail and reserving a wedding date and time. Some couples will reserve a date a year or more in advance. Other couples will call just days or weeks before a wedding. I can meet informally with most couples well before the wedding to plan the ceremony and to learn all the surrounding details, e.g., the size of the wedding party, music, photography, etc. Then, we sketch the outlines of a ceremony and respect the current values and traditions of each couple. Small or large, each wedding is a statement of love and commitment, of deep hopes and fondest dreams. I will work with you so that your unique wedding ceremony will be perfect for you, your families, and your guests.

y of 2020 when the world was in turmoil we decided to postpone our original wedding plans and elope. It was just the two of us, Brooke and a photographer in an elevated elopement ceremony in our home and Brooke made us feel as if we were at our originally planned wedding. She took so much care in making sure our day was so special.
She truly left a mark on us and her support of the LGBTQ community meant the world to us!
Fast forward to 2022 when we called her to tell her we would love for her to officiate our sequel wedding and she was as thrilled as we were.
She followed our unique request to wearing white and she showed up looking like a goddess!
She took her time to work with us and make sure the layout of the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. She even made us a commemorative wedding certificate for our second wedding!

ffee, we felt at ease with her personality, confidence and experience. She was very flexible with her time and traveled to talk to us. She drove the entire process flawlessly and coordinated with our daughters so that they could participate with a reading and it was so beautiful and touching. She helped us through our vows. She was professional, attentive, very effective and made everything easy. She came to the wedding earlier to help us with some last minute coordination and organized the entire bridal party, all we had to do was show up and feel the moment. She's very well spoken and kept everything flowing naturally, her timing was impeccable. Thanks to Brooke, our ceremony was unforgettable. All of our guests praised us for it many times. We are so grateful to her for making our day such a memorable and amazing day. Thank you Brooke!
