k care in making sure we received the portraits we wanted after our ceremony and was precise in location for our special couples shots. We have seen a few photos early and cannot wait to see what other moments he captured throughout the night! I would recommend him to couples who want to make sure there is no chaos within family and direction is provided. He is experienced and even helped pin the groomsmen boutonnières! He was efficient but not rushed and a good communicator. We were so happy to have an experienced and talented photographer!
Rodrigo did an amazing job at not only taking our wedding photos but also helping direct the moments to capture. We also had a call before the big day to go over details on what to...

We don’t have enough words to describe how HAPPY we are that Rodrigo was our photographer on our wedding day! Rodrigo is clearly an incredibly experienced photographer. He took the...
time to explain his cues to each of us so that we would know what to do and also what NOT to do, he made us feel comfortable and not at all nervous or worried about how the pictures would come out… we knew they would come out fantastic. He made the process fun, he listened to us, he allowed us to pause when necessary, he helped make my dress look gorgeous for all the shots, and he was just really easy to work with! We’ll be having him do all of our future photoshoots, and we certainly recommend his services for whatever the occasion might be!

elves and Rodrigo was able to capture so many beautiful photos and amazing candid photos as well. From booking - to video chats in the planning phase - Rodrigo was so easy to communicate with and he really listened to what kind of vibe we wanted. He also made inputs about what he thought would be a great photo opportunity and I'm so glad we listened because they turned out to be some of our favorite photos! We can't thank Rodrigo enough for capturing our memories!

ng him there just felt like an old friend just hanging out - fit right into our group seamlessly! All of our guests just loved having him there. The Love Portfolio's approach is to allow everyone to be natural and candid, and WOW did it pay off in the pictures. I have never seen amazing photos capture someone's laugh before. Looking through the pictures, I can just hear all my family and friends having the best time. Thank you, Rodrigo! You will absolutely NOT regret booking The Love Portfolio for your special event.

I have been meaning to write this review for awhile. I got married in September 2021 and from the very first contact with Rodrigo I was impressed. Everyone at TLP is extremely prof...
essional, responsive and are amazing to work with. We received our wedding photographs and were blown away with the quality. Many people hate their wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. It is actually extremely hard to chose photos for an album. Everyone we have showed our photos to is impressed and have commented that these are some of the best wedding photos they have seen. Then they proceed to tell me of their horror stories. Our photographers were easy to work with, adaptable, had great vision and style and were on time and very professional. Thank you Rodrigo and TLP for capturing our wedding so amazingly we look forward to enjoying our pictures for many years to come!
We hired Rodrigo to photograph our special day on 10/24/20. He went above and BEYOND what we could have expected. He is professional, personable and just so knowledgeable! We paid ...
our venue extra just to not use their standard photographer, but to contract Rodrigo and the awesome team at TLP. He knew all the spots around the property and made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day and night. We both are not that great with getting our photo taken, but Rodrigo walked us through everything and always with a sincere smile and a laugh. He is ridiculously funny! We also asked Rodrigo to photograph our reception. When our coordinator left and we didn't know what to do- Rodrigo immediately stepped in and took charge of the schedule, working with the DJ, the banquet staff- while still taking breathtaking photos!!!! We are forever grateful that we hired Rodrigo and highly recommend you contact him for your wedding!! Honestly- he is the REAL DEAL! AMAZING!!
One of the best photographers that I have ever seen. Rodrigo and Team TLP made my wedding day even more special by being able to capture every beautiful moment within a photo that ...
we can physically keep with us for a lifetime. He was extremely professional and polite so working with him was a breeze. All of our family really enjoyed his company at our wedding as well. I would recommend The Love Portfolio to anyone getting married or eloping. Our wedding shots are phenomenal and I am beyond blessed to have them.

d wedding photos as well. Saying our photos were beautiful is a big understatement. This man is so talented. I would refer any friend/family member to Rodrigo and anyone at The Love Portfolio. He captured every moment of our wedding and we are amazed with how they turned out. Rodrigo we cannot thank you enough for capturing the most special moments of our lives!! You are amazing.
I imagine that when most folks are selecting their wedding vendors, they start with maybe the venue, then get into catering, etc. Finding a photographer is perhaps finding someone ...
who fits in with everyone else's schedule. For us, it was the opposite. We found Rodrigo and his work and made everything work with his timeline. He was the one collaborator we felt we couldn't do without, and he did not disappoint.
If you are thinking of hiring Rodrigo and the team at TLP you should know he has a no BS attitude. Rodrigo was there to make things awesome and was incredibly direct on what needed to happen for that to work - his decades of experience sets him apart from others. For us, this was a perfect match, making all of our work together more enjoyable and lower stress. That is not to say Rodrigo was no fun. Quite the opposite! We laughed through every touchpoint with with his team and had a fantastic time.
None of that has yet spoken to the actual photography. Suffice it to say, Rodrigo simply did awesome work. When I compare the quality of photos we received to those of others we have looked through, there is just no contest. His rates were not low, but competitive but the quality of his work and service was simply unmatched.
I can not recommend Rodrigo highly enough.
Simply Stunning!
I am OBSESSED with our photos (both wedding & engagement shoot). I found The Love Portfolio online through another couple that had been married at our venue (The V...
inoy). I loved the editorial and romantic style. I was a little hesitant because I love a good first-hand recommendation but couldn’t compare his photos to any other wedding photographer. During our initial conversation it was easy and flowed super well. He knew our venue (which could have tricky lighting) and got our vision. During our engagement shoot he was able to get to know my husband and I and we were able to get to know him. He made us both super comfortable in front of the camera. When we received our engagement session photos we were blown away..making us so excited for the capturing of the big day! Rodrigo and his assistant, Santo, (who was LOVELY) were right on time, easy-going, and got pictures of everything without being pushy or overwhelming. They worked with our big families requests and many personalities. They captured the very best parts of the very best day. So, THIS IS YOUR FIRST HAND RECOMMENDATION…if you like the style (timeless, classic, romantic, editorial, perfectly edited & candid) book them now. We are in love with our photos and EVERYONE has made comments about how stunning they are. We cannot thank them enough!
Rodrigo and his team are just amazing. They blended in when they needed to and took charge when I needed most. I was amazed at how seamlessly they became a part of my wedding as mu...

mplished that while making us happy and comfortable. Rodrigo immediately understood our vision and then captured it and made it better. Rodrigo did all of that while managing our family and friends (i.e. he did that while managing difficult personalities swimmingly).
Rodrigo was absolutely amazing to work with. He is truly passionate about his work. He would joke with us and really made us feel comfortable . His quality is top notch!

Rodrigo was absolutely the best photographer we could have ever asked for. You never know when planning a destination wedding if you are picking the right people for all your need...
s, but I can honestly say that having Rodrigo as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made as we planned our wedding. Hands down... don’t hesitate to hire this guy. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderfully skilled in getting all the best shots possible. Our wedding, thanks to the weather, went nothing to plan. He rolled with it and guided us in the right direction and our pictures were absolutely perfect! Seriously... stunning pics from a superior photographer. I ❤️ Rodrigo Mendez!

makes you feel so comfortable and his pictures are absolutely FABULOUS! Rodrigo is professional, helpful, talented and an outright amazing person. We’ seriously got lucky finding him!
He really really really knows what he’s doing. My family is HUGE and difficult and putting them all together for pictures under the hot Florida sun is no easy task but Rodrigo did it so seamlessly. He somehow created such organization in our chaos like it was nothing. The pictures turned out SO beautiful and went above and beyond our expectations. Rodrigo was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish and you simply couldn’t go wrong working with him.

xtremely knowledgeable and professional, he was also fun, friendly, and focused. Rodrigo fit right in with my wild wedding party and made sure we got the shots I envisioned. I couldn’t be happier with the photos and the timeline in which he got them to us. I highly recommend using Rodrigo for your special event. He has a vision unlike no other, and he is makes the entire experience fun and enjoyable.
Rodrigo was simply amazing to work with!!! He recently did our engagement session and the pictures were breathtaking. He had us posed for some photos but majority of them were cand...
id and I have to admit the candid ones are probably some of our favorites ones. Prior to the photoshoot we had several phone conversations where he took the time to get to know us, our story, our styles and who we are as individuals and as a couple. So when we met with him, we felt like we knew him for awhile and it was a delight to work with him. He really did an amazing job portraying us and who we are in our photos. We cannot wait for the wedding day and have Rodrigo capture our love story !!!
Rodrigo was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The first meeting we had we talked for over an hour. He wanted to make sure he knew exactly what my vision for wedding pictures...
were and wanted to get to know me to build a positive relationship. This made me have full faith in Rodrigo from the beginning . He told me to call or text him with any questions at all which helped me feel even more comfortable with him. The day of my wedding he arrived early to set up and got right to work. He stayed on the timeline we had previously discussed. He did bridal party, family, bide/groom, ceremony, and reception pictures. The entire time he acted not only as a photographer but also as a coordinator. He made sure to walk us through the entire wedding and how to get the best pictures. His fun and bubbly personality helped keep us and our bridal party entertained while we were taking pictures. Throughout the entire reception Rodrigo was following myself or my husband to make sure to capture everything we wanted.
Rodrigo’s turn around is the quickest I have ever seen. I had all my pictures edited to perfection within 5 days! I was shocked and in love with every single picture. He has an artistic eye that created beautiful pictures. I can not emphasize enough how wonderful Rodrigo is. I would highly recommend him.

im the style I was going for and he nailed it! Literally he went above and beyond to get the perfect shot. He was standing on chairs, on the floor or in a corner somewhere but the pictures always turned out amazing. The guests were surprised by how hard he was working it to make sure he got the best shots. Got a lot of comments about how hard he was working. He executed my vision and I couldn’t be any happier. He was such a joy to work with and made me feel comfortable. In one of the scenes we were shoot with the flying lanterns, one was coming straight at me and Rodrigo flew across from where he was taking the picture and saved my hair from getting burned by the lantern. If you don’t have a Rodrigo taking your wedding photos, then you are definitely missing out.
