I had such a great experience with The Lipstick Twins LLC! I could not recommend them enough! We first started messaging over TheKnot, and they always responded to me instantaneously. I went to their space for the first time for my hair and makeup trial. They have such a fun, clean, beautiful, and inclusive space! They were kind enough to let me try two different hairstyles, and the makeup was flawless! They asked questions and really listened to what I wanted. The day of the wedding was even more amazing! They traveled to my hotel room and did hair and makeup for 7 people! They were so efficient, and we all looked amazing for the big day! They are such fun, friendly, and talented people! I cannot wait to go back!!!

As a bride, you manifest your wedding day to be seamless, drama-free & full of smiles. You don't want to deal with any BS. I unfortunately ran into a little bit of that, and if it wasn't for Dawn and Erika, the effervescent & talented duo behind The Lipstick Twins, there's a solid chance I was booking my husband and myself two tickets to anywhere but Cleveland. They stepped in, and helped my bridesmaids look effortlessly beautiful. My girls felt listened to, respected, and looked flawless. Choosing these ladies is probably one of the best decisions you can make. I genuinely don't know what I would have done without them.

    Hey girl, hey! I’m Dawn Lesher, one half of the dynamic duo behind The Lipstick Twins—and yes, we really are twins. I’m a proud mama of two, a wife to my amazing husband, and a lifelong creative with a serious passion for beauty. I graduated from the Brown Aveda Institute in 2010, earning my Mastering Cosmetology License. That foundation fueled my drive for artistry and led me to fast-track my education, completing my Bachelor’s degree in Drawing at Cleveland State University. My wedding specialties include curling, face makeup, brows, and lips—the details that pull an entire wedding look together and photograph beautifully. I thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments, which makes wedding days my absolute favorite. My creativity keeps me on the cutting edge, while my professionalism, skill, and upbeat personality allow me to adapt seamlessly to any situation.

had to switch makeup artists way too close to her wedding day. I did a trial with them because I was nervous about how makeup would react to my acne-prone skin and acne scars, and they were so patient, thoughtful, and reassuring throughout the entire process. From the very first interaction, they were kind, professional, and incredibly talented. On top of that, they were just so fun to be around that I instantly knew I (as well as the rest of the party) was in the best hands. Since then, they’ve done my hair and makeup for several personal events—and they also do my hair color and cuts, which I absolutely love. They always listen to what I want, offer expert guidance, and somehow manage to make my hair look even better than I imagined. I’ve recommended them to two other friends for their weddings—each of whom absolutely loved their experience. I’m recently engaged, and I genuinely cannot wait for my turn in their bridal chair. If you’re looking for artists who are talented, caring, and a joy to work with, Dawn, Erika, and their team are it, hands down!

They were able to beautifully style many different hair types, listening to visions and giving advice on what best suited the individual. They did equally as great on the makeup. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, I wanted a more natural look. They nailed it! A few bridesmaids wanted a more bold look and they looked great, too. My makeup even lasted through the night! Overall, I am so happy with the decision to have The Lipstick Twins to do not only mine, but my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup, too.
