iew of a truly once-in-a-lifetime sunset, all created an incredibly romantic and fairy-tale setting. Highly recommended for couples seeking a magical and memorable celebration.
In addition, one of the standout features of The Lakes was the staff and their flexibility and willingness to accommodate our vision. Whether it was incorporating specific decorations, adjusting the layout, or customizing the menu, the venue's team (Alison, Chef Luke and others) embraced our ideas and made them a reality, making our wedding truly unique.
All I can say is wow! They did an absolutely amazing job with both my wedding and reception. The team made everything look perfect. The food, service, and venue were all exception...

area, we were an out of town couple planning our wedding, but Alison and the team made the planning easy. Ready with recommendations and flexible schedules, Alison always took detailed notes and tracked our ever evolving details. The whole process was easy, even the week before (as all brides) I had a million details and questions flowing through my mind, but Alison and the team quickly answered them, offered solutions, and recorded all the details. It turned out absolutely beautiful! We held both our ceremony and reception in the beautiful tented patio. The venue was wonderfully kept and beautiful, from the grounds to the club house and elegant tent. The staff was attentive and helpful, they did a wonderful job with set up and flipping the space during cocktail hour to bring my vision to life. The food was awesome, we opted for plated dishes and received many compliments. The whole night was incredible and the Lakes provided the platform for all those beautiful memories to form. I highly recommend the Lakes!!!

dations and ideas. Allison also worked with us when the wedding needed to be postponed so due to a medical emergency. We could not have done it without her! Tammy and the catering staff provided us with a delicious meal and seemingly invisible staff which provided for our every need. Everyone commented on how nice the day was. We truly had a memorable celebration and would and have recommended The Lakes Golf and Country Club.
Alison provides excellent coordination for planning and execution of the wedding and reception. Excellent food and service!

e didn’t even think of as far as reception layout and she went above and beyond in making our vision for our wedding day a reality. Tammy was excellent and ensured my husband and I didn’t have to think about anything! The food was delicious!! When we went for our food tasting we were wondering if the food would be as good prepared in a large batch for 115 people and I was so pleased with how delicious the food was on our wedding day. There is a nice area for both sides of the bridal party to get ready, so many beautiful views for photos, and the tent was so nice for our wedding- we didn’t think it was too hot even though it was a 90 degree day. I cannot say anything negative about this venue. You will not be disappointed if you choose this venue for your wedding day!

nd veranda. The Drake Room just inside was perfect for appetizers, drinks, photo booth, gift & cake tables. Allison was wonderful to work with in planning the event. I felt at ease that everything was under control, from our first meeting. The staff were polite and professional. The event couldn't have gone better. I heard from many guests how much they enjoyed the venue. Well done Lakes! I'd give you more stars if I could.
This location was wonderful and is beautiful all on its own. We had a beautiful reception. My only disappointment was that they did not bring out fans on a very humid day and said ...
that we should have asked for them sooner. I was not made aware that fans were an option before that day.
All and all it was a great experience and I would have chosen the location again!

Great venue with a beautiful view of the golf course. Overall, great experience. Our wedding was in August and it was very hot even with the sides of the tent open, so make sure ...
your guests are dressed accordingly depending on the time of the year the wedding is. The dance area was a good size, but the separate dance floor that was added on top of the floor may not be needed (was a little slippery at times). The bartenders were very attentive (generous pours on drinks) and the club sets up all your decorations which saved us a lot of time. The entire staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The staff was very polite and just made the experience that much greater throughout the evening. This was a night we will always remember forever.

eeds. They are very polite and professional and dedicated to making your day very special. I would definitely recommend this venue to other couples it is very affordable. The only thing I would consider when booking this venue is the weather. The tent where we had our ceremony and reception did not have A/C inside. I made the mistake of booking my wedding in Oct thinking it would be cooler but it was extremely HOT! Everyone in there was sweating including myself, my guest and even the staff. (It was in the high 80's) Other than the weather being unpredictable.. The Lakes is perfect for a tent indoor/outdoor wedding! I would do it again.

mony and reception in the same place for an easy stress free day. We also wanted to feel the glamour of getting married without going past our budget.
From the start we loved working with Alison, and she really made us feel like our input mattered. She answered every question we had, and she made the whole process stress free. On the day of our wedding the staff was absolutely amazing. We had so many people helping coordinate our event, and I have no negative memories at all of that day. Our guests loved the venue and the day. We hear nothing but glowing remarks all around!
The Lakes was a fabulous venue. We had our daughters wedding in September and it turned out wonderful. I will assure you that you will get wonderful customer service. The food was...
great and Alison made sure that we had everything that we needed. If you are looking for a stress free venue I would highly recommend it. Hope you have an unforgettable experience like we did.

out of their way to make this a magical night for the newlyweds, our friends and families. Special thanks to Alison and Tammy for being so helpful and accommodating to all our needs and for being so easy to work with. We received many compliments and I highly recommend The Lakes Golf and Country Club.

t we did not know we even needed to consider and made sure that everything we wanted to happen, was on time and as planned. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed everything from the delicious food to the incredible staff who made sure we had an amazing time (and that our cocktails were never empty). They handled special requests without any hesitation and really made the day very special for us.
On our wedding day, it absolutely poured long enough for water to get inside the tent. The entire staff at the Lakes came together to squeegee the floor so the wedding could procee...
d as planned once the rain died down. The rest of the night was absolutely perfect! We didn't have to worry about anything, and received so many compliments from our guests about how the Lakes staff worked hard to make our day so special. We are so grateful to everyone for making not just our wedding, but the entire planning process, as stress-free as possible. It was wonderful working with Alison, Tammy, and the rest of the staff and I highly recommend them to anyone!
My wife Shannon and I probably looked at 10-12 different potential wedding venues, if not more. The Lakes was the second place that we looked at and, after my wife saw the beautifu...
l and elegant white tent, truth be told, I’m not sure if any other place really stood a chance! It was the perfect venue for our video game themed wedding and reception. We were fortunate that the weather was comfortable and accommodating on that Friday, and the staff took care of the rest! Alison was incredibly easy to work with. She was very responsive and willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. She met with us before the event and asked questions to make sure that our wedding and reception went off without a hitch. She adjusted certain things to meet our needs and fulfil our wishes as well. She planned everything in finite detail and is clearly experienced in that regard! The staff did an incredible job as well, staying on top of everything and making sure that the food was served in a timely fashion. The food was delicious and our friends and family seemed to agree with that sentiment. The event finished at 11, but the staff didn’t rush us out the door, allowing our guests to gather their belongings and any keepsakes that they wanted without feeling rushed. All-in-all, we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding and reception went and we’re extremely grateful and thankful that we chose The Lakes!
I cannot say enough good things about our entire experience at The Lakes! We hosted our son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception here this past weekend, and although it was hot...
, it was awesome! The venue itself provides spectacular views for pictures. The building with its huge wrap around porticos and the big white tent with chandeliers were simply elegant, and the perfect backdrop for our beautiful wedding! We also loved working with Alison...she really knows her stuff, and was so helpful at every step along the way! I sometimes emailed her three times a day, but she promptly responded each time, and we would not have had such a great event without her professional guidance. The staff was very friendly and very attentive all night, every little detail was perfect. The the food was delicious! All of our guests commented on how impressed they were with everything! Last, The Lakes was one of the more affordable venues we looked at, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but Alison and the crew there made our special night one to remember! I would highly recommend The Lakes!
The Lakes was an amazing venue for our August wedding and reception. We visited five country clubs in one day when searching for venues with The Lakes being the last one we visited...
. On our way there I had no idea how we were going to decide, but once we stepped into the semi-permanent tent we knew the Lakes was the one. My finance said it felt special. The tent offered the outdoor wedding I always wanted without having to lose sleep worrying about rain. Many guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was. Our photos captured the beauty of the tent and the grounds. Just as importantly, the wedding and reception went off without a hitch thanks to Alison and her top-notch staff who did an amazing job. Alison was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. I’ll also never forget how helpful the banquet captain was when I couldn’t get my ring off right before walking the aisle. We were both wearing our rings from the pre-ceremony photos, and I remembered a little too late that we needed to take them off. I was having trouble removing my ring when the banquet captain immediately produced a glass of cold water and told me to place my hand in it. The cold water did the trick, and I slid my ring off immediately. The banquet captain definitely wasn’t at her first rodeo. She knew exactly what would work to remove the ring. I can’t say enough good things about The Lakes!
Great venue and staff! Made my job as a wedding planner even easier. Loved working with them!

ifully decorated and were the perfect place for the cocktail hour, the dinner and the dancing. The combination of the banquet facilities, beautiful veranda and the tent made the night very enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and all of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The venue could not have been more spectacular and I highly recommend it to all!

tiful reception that we have ever attended. The service was exceptional and the dinner was absolutely delicious. It was a beautiful and blessed day which ended with a little magic in the atmosphere of white, crystal and flickering candle light. A little "Slice of Heaven - The Lakes".
As a groom, I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The staff were on top of everything, unobtrusive, and helped make the day completely carefree for my wife and I.
Allison, th...
e club coordinator, did an amazing job of helping us get everything organized and ready. She was instrumental in making our day happen; my wife and I knew that when Allison said it would happen, it was already done. She accommodated every detail that we wanted too and did a great job of coordinating with all our vendors.
Dinner was so tasty. The chef and culinary team at The Lakes are supremely talented. I've never been to a wedding where more guests raved over how good the food was. Tammy also deserves a shout out here; she made all the setup happen and orchestrated the wonderful plated dinner we had. Throughout the evening, she handled all of the behind the scenes logistics with the dance floor, bar, and seating arrangements and did it splendidly.
We could not have had a better experience with the Lakes. I am so thankful to all of the staff, as they really made our wedding unforgettable for both my wife and I and for all our guests. The Lakes is a premier wedding venue, and we will cherish our memories of our day there.

was beautiful. We were all able to get out hair and makeup done together. The large space allowed for all ten of us to get ready at once which was so nice. I felt very stress free because the Lakes was very prepared and helped out with every need. The staff was so accommodating and were there every step of the way during the whole process. Any question or need we had they did their best to help in any way they could. The dinner- oh my- it was the best meal. The meals all looked beautiful and tasted just as good as they looked. The staff was quick to serve everyone and meals were served in a timely manner. The actual venue was so beautiful. The tent looks so amazing on its own it barely needs any decorations. There was so many places to take pictures on the property as well. The whole night just ran so smoothly and it was a stress free day for all. They really helped make the day the most perfect for the bride and groom and their guests.

updates making it even more beautiful as time goes by. Alison did a wonderful job coordinating all of the details for our wedding and she helped quite a bit with the planning as well. On the day of our wedding, Tammy, the banquet captain, did a great job following all of the details I provided that I had communicated with Alison prior to the wedding day. She made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it and was not afraid to ask questions just to make sure everything was perfect. The only thing I would change about this venue is I wish the food wasn't so expensive, but it is very delicious! Overall I really enjoyed the experience we had in planning and having our wedding at The Lakes!

The staff was so friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. Alison was always available for questions (even the crazy frantic ones two days before). She always made me feel at ease! The tent is so pretty and had plenty of room for the guests to dance and mingle. The food was also excellent, and they were willing to make small tweaks to things to make sure it was just want we had envisioned. I can't thank them enough for helping to make our day so special!
