About this vendor
For more than twenty years, the music of The Kende Trio has added elegance to weddings and events throughout the Metropolitan area. Established by sisters Alexis (violin), Crista (viola + piano), and Daniela (cello), the trio has appeared on WABC-TV News and the NBC-TV “Today Show”, with feature articles in The New York Times and Distinction Magazine. Nearly a decade ago, The Kende Trio expanded to include a larger network of post-Juilliard musicians who specialize in jazz and contemporary, as well as classical styles. The Kende Trio also features vocalists and instrumentalists who play harp, trumpet, flute, bass, and piano.
We look forward to selecting the ensemble type and musical style that most reflects your personal style. www.thekendetrio.com.

These musicians are so talented and professional. I booked them for my wedding Memorial Day weekend (I know - this is so late in coming!) and they played about a half an hour befor...
e the ceremony (while I was getting ready - I could hear the music floating up to my room), and then on into the cocktail hour. In 50 degree weather! Alexis was so easy to deal with during my pre-wedding jitters and knew all the music I had in mind (my husband and I did what was likely a very awkward waltz for our first dance). I'm very grateful for their presence at my wedding. I hope the business thrives in the coming years.
The Kende Trio was featured at a local bridal show that we attended and I could not get over how beautiful they all sounded as well as my love for amazing instrumental music. We ...
wanted them to be a part of our wedding this October for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they met the mark of being equally as beautiful on our wedding day as they were at the bridal show. Working with Alexis was the best and could not be more accommodating as well as providing suggestions where & when needed. I wish we did have a video of our wedding to enjoy hearing them again. Truly the best!

inated the line of communication between us and our church organist, who was also a part of the ceremony music- they worked very well together, and I was appreciative of all of Alexis's help. On the day of, the music was absolutely beautiful! The trio played while guests filed into the church and throughout the entire mass. I am so thrilled that we booked the Kende Trio and would recommend them to everybody! Their music was such a wonderful and memorable addition to our ceremony- I can't wait to watch our wedding video so that I can hear everything back again :)

o cocktail hour. We could not have asked for anything more!
The musicians were professional, lovely, and played so beautifully! I truly enjoyed having such gorgeous string music as the background for our day. If you are contemplating using strings we highly, highly recommend the Kende Trio to suit all of your needs- you will not be disappointed!

he wedding. They played many classical as well as pop selections. Everything was perfect, the music, the transition from the ceremony in The Terrace Room to the cocktail hour to the reception in the Grand Ballroom were magical. I never noticed anything!! Also, the musicians are all so lovely!!!! I can't wait to view the video so I can listen to the music again. I am so grateful our paths have crossed and I hope we are fortunate enough to have another occasion to celebrate and have the privilege of having the Kende Trio perform.
