I can't say enough amazing things about our wedding weekend at the Joule!! Everything went absolutely PERFECTLY and the Joule Hotel was hands down the BEST place for our wedding. Everyone at the Joule from the valets, to the front desk, to the service staff, to the culinary team, to the sales and banquet staff were extremely kind, personable, communicative and accommodating. Everyone truly gave us the royal treatment and we felt like the only guests at the hotel the entire weekend!! Our ceremony and cocktail hour were on the rooftop terrace and our reception was in the Fortnight ballroom. Both spaces looked absolutely beautiful and THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!! The culinary team did a fabulous job preparing and executing the apps and meals we chose at our tasting and many people commented on how wonderful the food was! Many compliments to the food and beverage team and banquet staff!! The consistency and quality was excellent. We loved that the Joule provided so many aspects of event that we otherwise would have had to bring in at other venues. We used their stage, dance floor, tables and chairs, linens and dishes, cutlery and glassware, bar facades and staff, culinary team... The fact that all of this was included in the cost of our wedding was a big reason we chose this venue. We didn't have to worry about involving a ton of other rental companies, which kept us at ease throughout the planning process since there were less vendors to coordinate. We also had several events surrounding our wedding weekend at CBD and Midnight Rambler, all of which were also executed precisely as planned. The hotel gave us two nights in the rooftop penthouse for the weekend and we also used it as our "get ready" room on our wedding day. The space was exquisite. We highly recommend the Joule Hotel as the setting for your wedding or event!! Their staff is incredible, their spaces are beautiful, and the overall experience they provided us and our guests was incredible. The entire event went on without a hitch and we received many compliments on our venue choice. We would do it again in a heart beat!!

he ceremony in front of a simple, but lovely arch filled with tropical colors. . The guests had a delicious dinner at two long tables which were filled with bright colored vases, flowers and candles. The mirrored chargers reflected the sky. The staff was excellent. They were very accommodating as we did all the planning ourselves. They provided guidance whenever asked and gave us good suggestions.

100 stars to the banquet staff who covers CBD Provisions & Midnight Rambler, I would! Josh Chambo is the absolute best. They hosted an incredible menu tasting for us, were on top of every email and detail throughout the planning process, and executed flawlessly for the rehearsal dinner and reception. I could write a novel about this, but I highly recommend any event in those spaces. Unfortunately, the actual weddings team who covers the ceremony spaces (and I assume the traditional reception spaces) did not deliver the same great experience. It was slow and difficult to get responses from them as we planned, they never proactively reached out to us about any details or day of plans, and I literally never saw our coordinator. She did not come to the rehearsal or show up at all on the day of the wedding. It was baffling. In the end we paid somewhere around $5,000 for the ceremony + AV for a 15 minute ceremony and no one even bothered to check that we had what we needed or that it went well. I think if you're going to have a full wedding here you definitely need to have a complete end-to-end Wedding Planner who has extensive experience at the Joule as their team just clearly isn't staffed appropriately to engage.

Not only did I not get my entrance, my guests had a very hard time moving between the terrace and ballroom - even using the fire stairs instead of having to wait a ridiculous amount of time on the small elevators inside the hotel. On top of the glass elevator not working, neither was the handicap elevator which forced my disabled niece to be carried up the stairs along with her wheelchair and along with my 91 year old grandma that needed an elevator as well. This cut short my wedding reception by a full 45 minutes. Views were good, food was great, and rooms were very nice. However, if you are booking the terrace, you really need to consider the high possibility of it not working. I have since found out the elevator not working is an ongoing problem.

is the epitome of that in Dallas. I also loved that my guests could stay there, and both the ceremony and the reception could be there, so it just made everything really easy. The Joule was our "home base" and there was no need to coordinate transportation to and from various venues. I worked with Janna Hinebaugh, the catering manager at The Joule. The moment I met her, I felt like I was talking to a good girlfriend. She's awesome. She was super organized and knew her stuff, and she was just so darn funny and nice. When I say Janna's (and The Joule's) customer service is over-the-top, I mean it. I've stayed at names like The Plaza and Waldorf-Astoria, but never in my life have I received such VIP treatment as I did at The Joule. Everything was seamless, from booking and contracts, to the tasting (we created our own menu of foods we love) and selections of linens, etc. Shout-out to Janna's assistant Jesse, who ran point on the rehearsal and on the day-of, along with Janna. My experience was a dream--not a care in the world, knowing everything was handled and my husband and I could focus on our wedding day. Oh, and when you book at the Joule, you get two nights in a suite as part of your package--the suite was BOMB! It was basically like an apartment: living room with a half-bath, master bedroom with a massive bathroom, huge windows...it was insane. In the best way.

Anytime we had questions or issues, she resolved them quickly and her helpfulness consistently went above and beyond our expectations. I also want to give major props to the chefs who prepared our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, wedding reception dinner, and late night snacks! Our guests can't stop raving about the delicious food! The service was fantastic, and the food- wow! One of my only regrets from the day was that I didn't eat more! Everyone raved over how delicious the dinner was!
