The Hotel at Kirkwood Center

k attendants and the people clearing our plates to the pastry chef and our catering manager, Ande—every single person we interacted with at our wedding and leading up to the day were extremely attentive, kind, and responsive. The planning process would not have gone smoothly without the help of Ande. She was truly a joy to work with and focused on the small details of our day so we didn’t have to! She coordinated our ceremony and reception with such grace and poise—not to mention the time she spent coordinating with our vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch. We got so many compliments on the friendliness of the hotel  staff. Everyone raved about the food—we are getting a lot of comments about it being the best wedding food our guests have had! Our day was an absolute dream and we have The Hotel at Kirkwood Center to thank for so much of that!

a venue that can accommodate guests or just one with great food, the Kirkwood Hotel has it.   The process of planning the wedding was a wonderful experience, Ande did a fantastic job walking us through all of the options and explaining everything out in an easy to understand fashion.  Whenever we had any questions, she was there to answer by either phone or email, and response was always prompt. When it comes to the reception itself, everything went without a hitch.  I was very nervous of having something go awry, but Ande and her crew did a phenomenal job making sure the evening went without any slip ups.  The service itself was top notch.  Food was served in a very timely manner and everyone was incredibly attentive.  Bar staff was quick at cutting down lines as well. As for the food itself, there is nothing more to say than the fact that it was all perfect.  To this day my wife and I still have people reminding us how wonderful the food was (along with the whole reception) and how incredible it was that everything was so consistently cooked.   The Hotel, being a culinary institute, also has its own baking team.  My wife and I are two completely opposite people when it comes to cake, she prefers chocolate and vanilla while I prefer fruity flavors, they were able to accommodate.  My wife got her vanilla and I was able to get my lemon raspberry.  The decorations were fantastic as well, the baker who frosted and designed the cake did an incredible job! When it came to the end of the night, we were so pleasantly surprised by the little gifts we had in our room, slices of our cake to share and cute bride and groom chocolate strawberries. All in all, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about the experience, from start to finish it was incredible.  It was the hotels first Lebanese wedding as well and they did such a great job accommodating traditional practices for us.  I will always recommend the Kirkwood hotel to anyone who is getting married!  Thank you Ande and team!
