We hosted our event in the main building in the Billiard room. Our event coordinator was wonderful to work with and overall we had a fantastic evening. The food and drinks were del...
icious. BUT there was a miscommunication regarding the dinner start time, so that was slightly delayed, not a huge deal. One of my guests dietary restrictions was not adhered to and their meal had to be delayed/changed which is very disappointing and the only two kids in attendance food was only provided after their parents spoke with our coordinator.
The property is also undergoing major renovations which limits the property as a whole due to the back patio having been removed. I was advised of the construction in advance but they did not properly convey how extensive it would be. Parking was difficult and there were construction vehicles/dirt piles in my photos. There was a private bathroom accessible for our guest, but come day of, the toilets were removed so my guest had to go out into the basement bathroom, a bit of an inconvenience. So maybe after the construction is done, it'll be great (I think they said 2028 or 2029). I might have gone with a different venue if I had known the extent in advance.

I just wanted to put a PSA out there for anyone who has considered The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park for any aspect of their wedding, now through 2028. My fiancé and I toured there y...
esterday and there is a TON of construction going on that no one mentioned before we arrived (and no one said anything about until I prompted them.) The grounds and gardens are completely torn up because they are putting in more rooms and adding more parking. The balcony on The Library Room is facing construction and chain link fences, and the Rose Garden is inaccessible because of construction as well. There is also nothing on their website informing guests or visitors about all of this construction and it felt very deceptive of them to not mention this ahead of time.
