A True Fairytale Wedding at The Gardens of Cranesbury View
From our very first meeting, Amy, the owner of The Gardens of Cranesbury View, made our decision effortless. She offered ...
thoughtful options, individualized guidance, and unwavering support that gave us both confidence and excitement moving forward. Amy’s deep network of trusted vendors—each highly familiar with the venue—helped narrow our choices and created a seamless, well-coordinated team from the start.
She took exceptional care in walking us through ideas inspired by her past experiences, helping us build a cohesive theme that truly flowed together. Her attention to detail and steady guidance ensured we stayed on track throughout the planning process, even catching details we might have otherwise missed. We are beyond grateful for her dedication, patience, and expertise.
The venue itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The Cranesbury exudes a rare elegance, beautifully infused with French influence—an aesthetic clearly shaped by Amy’s master’s in horticulture. Even during our winter wedding, the landscaping and florals were stunning, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed.
For Denise and myself, and for our families and friends—many of whom traveled great distances—The Gardens of Cranesbury View left an unforgettable impression. From the magnificent architecture and overnight châteaus to the sweeping grounds, every space felt refined and intentional. The open-air garden ceremony, the mansion, and the overall layout were simply astronomical in their beauty.
For Denise, the venue held even deeper meaning. With her mother having been born in Versailles, Paris, France, the French-inspired design created an overwhelming sense of belonging and emotional connection.
Walking toward the ornate, chandelier-covered dome to exchange vows felt like stepping into a fairytale. The ballroom, with its grand chandeliers and flowing sheer drapery, was a dream come true—pure magic fit for a princess.
Our journey began in the spring of 2025, when the book opened and our fairytale truly began.
Finding a wedding venue like The Gardens of Cranesbury View feels like searching an entire galaxy to discover the one planet that is just right.
From the moment you arrive—black iron gates opening to lush florals—you’re transported. A stunning two-story white house with a winding staircase welcomes you, followed by a breathtaking path that leads to the iconic white iron dome. Guests sit among green lawns as a string quartet plays, fully immersed in the beauty of the moment.
Cocktail hour unfolds in a charming courtyard with a fountain and dedicated bar, where guests relax on French-style furniture in a gentle breeze, surrounded by soft music and ambiance. From there, the ballroom reveals itself—tables designed to your floral vision, candles glowing, chandeliers twinkling, and sheer drapes flowing.
With exceptional food, music, and service, the entire experience embodies true elegance.
At a time when you are celebrating a life-changing union, The Gardens of Cranesbury View captures it all—transforming your wedding into a timeless story you will cherish forever.

rything went off without a single hitch, and the entire day felt effortless and magical.
Amy is so incredibly kind and attentive. She answered every question we had and was amazing to work with — truly accommodating and supportive throughout the entire process.
We also stayed at the mini chateaus, and it was absolutely adorable. My family loved it so much! Staying there made the whole experience even more special. It genuinely felt like we were living in a Hallmark movie.
We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married. Highly recommend!

jitas and queso! Even for my December NYE themed reception, the landscape was stunning and this venue was so picturesque. We loved the Christmas lighting! And also loved staying in the French chateau that night. The space was perfect for our guest count of 80 but could've easily fit another 50 people comfortably. I love the new patio overhang and fresh paint on the house. Amy helped me SO much with planning, answering all my questions, and genuinely being so excited for me on every phone call. We attended an open house they'll periodically have and met many of our awesome venders (SunGold Photography, Roar Over Texas Fireworks, A Day of No Worries Coordinators) that we wouldn't have connected in person like that otherwise. Amy and her recommended team are pros at this and I thought it was very affordable compared to a lot of other places I viewed and what I ultimately got out of it. There are requirements like hiring a breakdown team and a coordinator but it made everything so smooth throughout the night and was completely worth it. We also used Amy's bartender Jeanette and she was INCREDIBLE. I would highly recommend if European gardens are your vibe!
The Gardens were absolutely beautiful and set the perfect scene for our wedding. Amy made sure everything was perfect for our day and helped us out a lot along the way! If you want...
a perfect picturesque wedding, this is definitely the venue for you.
This was my absolute dream venue and I could not recommend it more. Amy is fantastic and was wonderful to work with. The venue makes you feel like you’re in Europe and the gardens ...

ss. They have steamer ready in each Chateau and private entrance. The pool was fun and inviting!
Our complaints were that we had problems with bees by the property. Chateaus complains were the AC was leaking in one of chateau and All the outdoor light by the chateaus were turned off after 1 AM (estimate time) forcing people to stop hangout outside. They had a lot of spike balls by the swimming pool and I stepped on it (no harm but it was painful, my FIL had to carry me and pick out all the spike balls. It was my fault for walking barefoot). Bring shampoo and soap because they don’t provide a lot at the chateau. There were many bees around the property, was told they were harmless but I (the bride) end up got stung on my arm during first look. (Good thing I was not allergic to bees) We had food and drink out by the pool, bar and cocktails hour, we had to throw away because of the bees. Especially during cocktail hour, we had people wanted more food but they were all scared to come close to the food table plus the bees were all over the food and we had to throw away a lot of the foods and drinks.
This venue is something out of a fairytale, especially when the garden is blooming, and the bridal portraits and pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Amy keeps it absolutely im...

ter our engagement. So my parents had to tour the venue for us initially, and Amy was so understanding and extremely helpful despite our long distance. She honesty was the reason our wedding planning went so smoothly, she offered a list of vendors she recommends and had such wonderful insight. She has years of wedding knowledge/ experience that made the difference in the quality of our wedding. I trust and value her services beyond compare.
Every interaction with Amy exuded professionalism and warmth. The communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. The staff at The Gardens of Cranesbury View were always prompt in responding to our inquiries and accommodated every request with grace and efficiency. They guided us through every step, ensuring that no detail was overlooked, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The quality of service provided by The Gardens of Cranesbury View is truly unmatched. The venue itself is stunning, with meticulously maintained gardens that provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. If you want your wedding to feel straight out of a period piece, look no further. The attention to detail in the setup was impeccable, creating an ambiance that was both elegant and inviting. On the day of our wedding, everything flowed seamlessly thanks to the expertise of their staff. From coordinating vendors to ensuring that our guests were well taken care of, they handled everything with professionalism and a genuine desire to make our day special. We cannot recommend The Gardens of Cranesbury View highly enough. If you're searching for a venue that combines natural beauty with exceptional service and a team that truly cares about making your day perfect, look no further than The Gardens of Cranesbury View. They turned our wedding dreams into a reality, and for that, we are forever grateful.
I had my beautiful wedding at the Gardens of Cranesbury View. From the breath taking scenic views to the cleanliness of the venue. The owner has been so accommodating to my family,...
my husband, and I. I had asked her so many questions and she responded promptly with lots of great details! The little French Village is such a great touch! My bridal party and family were able to stay on site and get ready there before the wedding. We had about 16 people staying there and there were still so many chateaus available to rent. We were all able to play volleyball and cook at the pool the night before our wedding and we had a blast!! The day of she is on site to make sure everything is running smoothly. She was an absolute joy to work with. She always made me so welcomed. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

ceremony site that is absolutely beautiful and offered a sunset that only enhanced her wedding photos. The reception hall offered an open setting for dancing, mingling, and overall fun. Vendors had easy access to set up and break down at the end of the night. Amy was a huge help when I had questions and helped me navigate quite a few details. The Gardens is a beautiful site for a wedding. I highly recommend the Gardens as a wedding venue.

, with rolling hills, lush gardens, and stunning views of the Texas Hill Country. The ballroom is elegant and spacious, and Amy is incredibly helpful and accommodating.
We had a small wedding, but The Gardens of Cranesbury View was able to accommodate us perfectly. They were flexible with our schedule and were happy to work with us to create a personalized wedding day that was perfect for us.Timing was a challenge as my daughter was graduating college from out of state and preparing to move over seas.
On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Amy was on top of everything, and made sure that our guests had a wonderful time. The drinks were flowing, and the atmosphere was simply magical.
We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue, and we would highly recommend The Gardens of Cranesbury View to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding day.
Here are some specific things that I appreciated about The Gardens of Cranesbury View:
The stunning grounds. The gardens are absolutely breathtaking, and they were the perfect backdrop for our wedding.

ties, and the main event space. Amy is communicative, very knowledgeable and kind, and even welcomed us and some of our guests the day we arrived on-site! The venue is absolutely gorgeous with a nice variety of spaces for people to explore and enjoy. To speak to Amy's responsiveness, we had a crazy heavy rain and thunderstorm the evening before our wedding which led to one of the windows in a chateau leaking--most of our guests were Texans well familiar with pouring rain, so we set some towels down, let Amy know, and kept celebrating! Amy and her staff were there first thing in the morning refinishing the window. We loved staying in the chateaus and are so grateful that we could enjoy this stunning, well-considered space with such a warm host. Thank you so much!
This was such an unforgettable experience. I loved working with Amy, she truly treated us like family. I'm forever thankful to her. Everything was stunning.

tement for our big day! Cannot say enough great things about Amy and the beautiful gardens.
Having our wedding here was just magical. Amy is the venue owner and such a joy to work with. She loves her business and it shows every step of the way.

res just don’t do it justice. In person being there does not feel like we are still in Texas. Amy was incredibly amazing during the process. She allowed us to do our engagement photos and allowed me to do my bridal portraits. My whole wedding day felt like I was in a fairytale. We have gotten so many compliments about our wedding and how lovely the venue was.
We also stayed on property in the big house and the chateaus. Which I highly recommend because being with family and friends that weekend made it such a great weekend being altogether. We did have a slight problem with the fridge but Amy was so quick to fix it and the fridge was completely working by the morning. Amy was always there if we needed something and quick to fix it. I would highly recommend The Gardens of Cranesbury to anyone that wants a fairytale garden for a wedding!

aintained. Whatever season you visit, there’s beauty all around. Amy, the owner and coordinator is one of a kind. She took care of me and my husband from the first email I sent asking to tour the venue. She was there to answer every question I had, venue-related or not, and the day of the wedding she was such an incredible blessing to my husband and me. She helped everyone get ready like it was her own family’s wedding. You will not regret having your event here!
I had my wedding on January 9, 2021 & let me say Mrs. Amy Templeton is the absolute best to work with! With her experience & expertise in elegance (& excellence), she brought SO mu...
ch peace to my mom & I throughout the entire planning process. I had to plan my wedding from 1,000 miles away, but that didn’t stop Mrs. Amy from always communicating with me! We were able to visit the venue whenever we needed to be sure we had all the details put together. But the venue...the Garden is so beautiful you need little to no decorations whatsoever. Every guest loved it just as much as we did. Go see it for yourself & you’ll understand!
My family/wedding party was also the first to stay in the AirBnb & it was perfect. Mrs. Amy is so detail-oriented, so we weren’t missing anything! The convenience of staying on property was unmatched to any other venue...I can’t imagine having my wedding any other way! We had everything we needed or forgot we needed 10 steps away from us versus having to drive 45 minutes across town. And to add, the beauty of having the AirBnb all weekend (& a late Sunday checkout) with my family & friends gave us so much time to bond & love each other after being apart for so long. We got to set up a day early, & were not rushed out the door to tear everything down afterwards. If you can make the AirBnb happen, do it!
Even during a pandemic, my wedding was a huge success & dream come true!!! Thank you, Mrs. Amy, for everything you do to make the Gardens so uniquely beautiful & for helping every bride feel so special. You will always hold a special place in our hearts & memories. 6 out of 5 stars, I HIGHLY recommend Mrs. Amy & the Gardens for your wedding & other special occasions (we will be back for my dad’s retirement)!
I honestly don’t know where to begin to talk about how absolutely fantastic it was to work with Amy and having my daughter’s wedding at this venue this past weekend. Forgive me if ...
my thoughts seem all over the place... it was just that great of an experience!!! We were the first family to AirBnB the Bridal House and it was worth every penny. My daughter and I met Amy at Bridal Expo back in Jan of 2020 and made an immediate connection with her and once we toured the venue my daughter didn’t want to look anywhere else. The AirBnB house sleeps 20 and offered enough sleeping rooms for the entire bridal party and a few family members. All of the beds were queens or larger. Everything was clean and organized fully stocked linens and towels! Amy even left champagne, orange juice and eggs in the fridge for us. The convenience of being able to stay on-site for the weekend pays for itself. Our coordinator was able to do a lot of pre-decorating on Friday night, our bridal party didn’t have to have hotel rooms or rental cars. As a Mom my heart and mind was at ease because no one was driving home late after the reception was over. Amy’s attention to detail is impeccable. There was never a time that she wasn’t available to answer our questions or concerns during the last 12 months of planning. Even in the midst of COVID she reassured us along the way even having security on the ready taking temperatures before entry. And keeping with CDC guidance along the way. My husband was so happy with everything that he’s considering using the venue again for his upcoming Military retirement. It was very evident to us from jump that Amy loves God and loves people. Her passion for this industry shines through throughout the venue and the Bridal House. We didn’t have to leave the property at all until it was time to check out. If you’re looking for a venue that truly has everything... look no further. Amy has become like family to us now and we are so grateful to have made the connection with her. All of our family and friends were thoroughly impressed with The Gardens of Cranesbury View. The great experience of this past weekend will forever be solidified in our hearts. ♥️♥️♥️

ehind the scenes keeping the schedule tight so that we could enjoy our day worry free. She also has a list of preferred vendors, we chose a majority of them for our wedding and they were all amazing. I can’t say enough great things about this venue and the people who run it, they gave me literally the best day of my life.
Absolutely stunning setting for our wedding, could not have been happier! When we first visited TGCV we were immediately taken with the grounds and how lovely and well maintained ...
the gardens were. We were determined to stick to our budget and Amy helped us select a wedding date and day that would meet our pricing, and gave us a list of vendors to use--all of whom were professional and reasonably priced. After a lot of searching and price checking, we booked Amy for her coordinating services as well which was really the key to how exceptional our day was. We were able to drop items/decorations off early to alleviate same day stresses, she asked for our vision on the things we were specific about and used her years of experience to fill in the rest and perfectly captured the feeling we wanted for our day. We had a large wedding party but she was still able to move quickly and professionally through the rehearsal with our rowdy crew. The wedding day went like literal clockwork and it was breathtaking to see the stunning grounds set up in the way my fiance and I had imagined. Every detail was tended to which made our day completely carefree and Amy kept things running smoothly. Our guests absolutely loved being able to tour the gardens throughout the evening. I can't possibly recommend this venue or this vendor as highly as they deserve, by the time your wedding day is done you will know just as we did that this was the best decision you could've made!

entire venue displays the beauty of God's creation. I also love the European style set in the Texas hill country. Even one of our guests from Italy said it was the most beautiful wedding venue he has ever seen! Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, even in the midst of a pandemic! We chose Amy as our wedding coordinator as well, and she did an amazing job creating the wedding of our dreams. Because of her we didn't have to worry about all the little details; she took care of everything so we wouldn't have to! I feel so blessed we had Amy's expertise, and I'm so thankful we chose the Gardens of Cranesbury View!
The Gardens of Cranesbury View is an amazing venue and it was the perfect setting for our wedding and reception. Our guests are still telling us how beautiful our outdoor ceremony ...
was, how wonderful the suggested vendors were, and how much fun they had in the gardens. This is all thanks to Amy and her team!
The venue has recently finished large renovations since we booked our date and all changes were for the best! Groomsmen now have the entirety of the lower floor in the main house, while the bride and bridesmaids have their run of the top level (including the balcony). The ceremony site has also been given some TLC, with a walkway and surrounding greenery. Additionally, Amy offers many decorations for rent, a concise and helpful list of vendors, tips and tricks to best use her venue, and complimentary roaming chickens. :D
Amy truly cares about her venue and desires to improve upon it with each and every booking. She lives and breathes weddings, so be ready to match your excitement to hers! You’ll be glad to have Amy on your side and to have this amazing piece of Texas hill country in your memories.
Thank you for everything!

ll. It truly was our dream wedding and we could not ask for more. I cannot recommend the coordinator package enough. Miss Amy made sure everything ran smoothly. It took so much stress off of me, my husband, the wedding party, and our parents. Weddings are wonderful, but they are certainly stressful. Miss Amy made sure everything went as planned and directed things beautifully. Thank you to Amy and her team! I would absolutely recommend this venue and the coordinator package.

She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was set up correctly for the wedding. At our 30 day meeting, she asked a lot of questions that I forgot to think about for the wedding, like appetizers during cocktail hour!
She also took time to set up the decorations beautifully, just the way that I wanted it. She's very detail oriented, responsible, and overall just "on top of everything".
Furthermore, she's a local business that supports and recommends other local businesses around New Braunfels/San Antonio areas. I recommend her venue to the fullest.

er are absolutely the best! Amy is so patient with all of our questions, and really keeping us on track with both weddings as they were so close together. Amy did an outstanding job on making sure that each wedding day for our family ran on schedule and it was such a professional in dealing with our vendors. She has this down to a science and you are in good hands when booking this venue. I paid for coordinating services for both weddings and it was worth every single cent! Amy has such a great eye for flower design, I absolutely fell in love with the bouquets that she made and all of the centerpiece arrangements, in addition to the ceremony arrangements on the gazebo. Hunter is so dedicated to all the little details and on the wedding day I never saw her take a break, sure she did but I just didn’t see it. And George, what a sweetheart! The best bartender, very funny, and personable, but also responsible in making sure that his guests are safe. I cannot say enough of how much I am grateful for Amy and her staff and all that they do for their clients on such an important day.

Her gardens are spectacular and the rose bushes were in bloom on our wedding day. wers, names of the bridal party, everything you can think of and she'll take care it. Her venue is gorgeous and a little slice of bliss in the hill country. As a planner, I felt comfortable and secure with her and she handled every wedding hiccup amazingly. In other words: she. gets. it. done. I appreciate that she gives you a full price list of everything you can include or exclude; I like having it out in the open to be able to look at options and asses what you need and don't need. Thank you, Amy, for letting us get married at your venue and for coordinating everything.

ugh hoops to make it happen. She's in all of the little details, and is constantly touching base with you. Her staff is well prepared also, and very respectful. The venue is located on top of a hill so you get a beautiful view of the country as well as a good breeze while in the gardens or near the Gazebo. Amy's bright spirit will light up your day, even if you're going through wedding stresses. There is no venue coordinator like Amy. And there is no venue like the Gardens of Cranesbury View.
This venue is absolutely amazing! I had my wedding in April and I still have people tell me how beautiful my wedding ceremony was and how much they enjoyed it. I visited over 10 ve...
nues before picking this one and I am so glad I did. Working with Amy was an incredible experience. Her entire staff is so pleasant and helpful. She really takes all the stress out of planning a wedding. She’s meticulous and is willing to go out of her way to make sure your day is perfect. She’s also super cheerful and a genuinely caring person and is the kind of person you want in charge of your wedding. I was the type of bride who had no idea what I was doing, or all the details that encompass a wedding, and Amy helped me with envisioning my perfect wedding and brought it all to life with ease. She’s one of the best in the business and I can say that confidently based on my experience with her and based on what other vendors have said (even when I visited other venues and mentioned her, her competitors told me she was amazing). I was nervous about having an outside ceremony in April (because of the Texas heat) but there is something magical about this place where there’s a nice breeze and everyone was comfortable. I got my wedding pictures a few weeks ago and can’t get over how beautiful the scenery is at this venue. You have to visit the venue in person! I would definitely recommend this venue if you want beautiful scenery and want to work with someone who is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and helpful.

y. I HIGHLY recommend Amy as your wedding coordinator. It is worth every single penny. Starting from her positive attitude during the initial tour to {FAST FORWARD} a year later- big hugs & love during the send off- Amy never missed a beat. She spent time & effort getting to know our families & their cultures. She took careful notes & took special attention to detail. Amy knows EXACTLY what she is doing & her coordination helps keep you on track. Amy's coordination definitely helped us plan our perfect wedding day. We both worked full time during the planning of our wedding & Amy was always there to answer questions & assure us that we were on the right track. She does an amazing job of getting in touch with your vendors, as well as, offering tips to ensure a smooth day. We fell in love with the venue & will always have this special place in our hearts. Amy & Sarah were just incredibly sweet to every single guest. We had the wedding of our dreams & couldn't ask for anymore. We've been married a little over 3 weeks & not a day has gone by where we don't talk about our wedding & the fun we had. Our guests also have continuously mentioned to us how much fun they had & how beautiful the venue was. Thank you, Amy, Sarah, & Gardens of Cranesbury Team! Cheers to you!

tion area, everything is gorgeous. Amy was just the icing on top as she made everything perfect. My wife, who is typically a little neurotic, did not worry about a thing. I always like to be in control of what's happening, and I had no worries about handing over all the responsibility over to Amy. She handled every issue we threw her way with ease and an admirable grace.
Amy went consistently above and beyond to make our wedding the special day we dreamed of. She was always so excited to talk to us, to hear about our wedding plans, and to offer up suggestions when we were unsure. It's very clear she loves what she does and it shows in her work. From discreetly dealing with family issues, to making sure our fears were eased, she did beyond what we asked for.
I loved everything about planning our wedding. Everyone we know complains about how hard it is planning a wedding, but with Amy's help I would gladly do it all again. Absolutely a fantastic celebration. Everything about our experience was perfect; from the scenery, to the schedule, and the crazy looking chickens.
