Simone and her team at The Garden brought a joyful and inspired array of beautiful food to our wedding celebration. It was an absolute hit! Simone was tremendous addition to our wedding team and worked seamlessly with our other vendors to help make our night a such a memorable time for us and our guests. Throughout the planning process (which included a hurricane that postponed our original date and a tragic death in the family), Simone listened and was so attentive to our needs and all of our odd requests, and worked to build a menu we knew everyone would love. She was an MVP and we were lucky to have her. She understood the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create for the evening and brought such creative ideas to the table that made our vision come to life. Simone's food was not only delicious but brought such warmth and fun to our party--a very welcome departure from many a "chicken or fish" catering situations we have all experienced and forgotten. Simone's cooking and her touch, her ability to bring spice and color to our tables, left an indelible mark on our wedding that we will never forget.

Based in Asheville, NC, The Garden offers unique food truck-style catering for private events and weddings. From farm to trailer, they can offer you and your loved ones seasonal-inspired cuisine made with local, sustainable ingredients. Owner Simone Jaramillo created her food truck business as a reflection of her respect and love of food. She was raised in rural northern New Mexico in a family where her father taught her how to grow food as soon as she could walk and where her mother made three meals a day from scratch, often using ingredients from the family garden or local meat from their deep freeze in the shed. “My childhood kitchen was always a happening space in the home, freshly baked goods on the counter, simmering pots on the stove, a pantry full of preserved jellies, canned peaches. When I imagine the kitchen of my childhood, warm light, delicious smells and bright colors come to mind. Feeding people was what I grew up knowing how to do. It has always been one of my love languages.” The ritual of growing food, cooking, gathering people, and feeding them brings her joy. Simone’s independent spirit, creativity and artistic background made the entrepreneurial dream of her food truck business a natural evolution as she believes in her vocation being an embodiment of her heart’s expression. Her emphasis of valuing sustainability, human connection, local agriculture and community is at the heart of what her business is made of and she is excited to continue leaning deeper into these values as she continues to grow her business. The team at The Garden would love to provide this unique catering service for you on your special day to make it a memorable and delicious experience. The Garden is available to serve you and your guests through their service window but also offers seated and buffet meal options, food stations, and hors d'oeuvres. They provide a classic menu but can also create custom menus for your special day designed to your taste. Usung high-quality ingredients, there are several cuisines available to choose from, including Italian, French, Latin American, Mediterranean, and many more. e Garden. They honored our contracts and made new arrangements with the new venue. We had charcuterie boards served for 100 people during our cocktail hour that were so bright and colorful, our guests LOVED them. Dinner was beef, chicken, sweet potato boats, salad, season veggies and herbed rice. We are still getting complements on how good the food was weeks later. We are so grateful to Simone and her team for doing an amazing job at our wedding.
