I can't say enough wonderful things about Pilar and The Four Seasons Event Group. She is a superhuman, and singlehandedly pulled off our dream wedding with only our vision to go on...
. She is attentive; tough when needed; calm under pressure, handled our families with such grace and care; and has so many connections with area vendors for food, decor, hair, makeup, etc. Our wedding day would not have been the same without her, and she consistently went above and beyond during planning—meeting us all around southeast Michigan, handling EVERYTHING on the ground after we moved away for work a few months before the wedding, and attending to every detail on the day of the celebration. She negotiated on our behalf and went to bat for us with vendors who didn't follow through, even after the wedding was over. We are so grateful for Pilar, and would recommend her for any event planning needs—wedding or otherwise!
We had the most incredible wedding thanks to Pilar and Jalen! From the very first moment, they were friendly and helpful and nothing but professional. They helped calm us down and...
prepared us for our day. They constantly went above and beyond their day to keep us happy and on track. Her Vendor recommendations were incredible as well. We have absolutely zero complaints. what we saw at our wedding was, beyond our expectations. From the very first minute until the end, Pilar and her Asst. Jalen seemed like they actually cared about our important day, and both were extremely PROFESSIONAL. I would recommend them to anyone. It was single handily the best day of our lives. As well as the best decision that we made for our wedding planning process. 10 out of 10!
In a nutshell I wouldn't recommend! Pilar "planned" my cousins wedding and in all actuality my cousin planned her own wedding. I remember staying up numerous nights with with my co...
usin crying because the person she thought would be there for her and her husband on their special day was consistently MIA!! She even showed up extremely late day of event with not an explaination. If I were you I would go the extra mile and stay away from this event group! It's not worth the headache and tears.... Trust me you would be happy you did!!!!
Poor communication. As a private vendor, I'd expect a planner to be organized and be available to coordinate the "plans" the day of an event but this was not the case! Myself and s...
everal other vendors took the initiative to move things along for a wedding while Pilar showed up 45 mins prior to the event start time and disappeared just as soon as she arrived. I felt terrible for the new couple, who looked amazing! The asst. Jalen, should be the one in charge, period! At least he was visible and catering to the wedding party....I'd give ZERO STARS if it were possible and I would not recommend Pilar if this is how she conducts business!
I am not sure how to even begin saying how ESSENTIAL Pilar, Jalen, and Imani were to our whole week of Indian wedding events! From our very first meeting, Pilar understood all of t...
he stresses we were going through and checked in frequently to see how she could help. She had the perfect balance of being a friend/confidant to us as a couple, while making sure that our vendors/family/friends followed through on everything we needed them to do. It gave us so much piece of mind knowing that she would be there to bring all of the details together. She helped put together hundreds of wedding programs, place favors, steamed my dress, and made sure we had all of our family around for important photos. They stayed until all of the guests had left to make sure that nothing was forgotten at our venue. Jalen cracked jokes when he could tell I was getting nervous the day of the wedding and Imani even went under my dress to fix my garter when it was falling down. They helped put everyone at ease and made sure that all events went smoothly on schedule. Our families continue to say how great everything went because of Pilar and her team!
They took care of every little detail. Pilar and Jalen was very professional and great to work with! Pilar was very organized and available to answer any questions I had. She gave ...
me ideas and made a clear picture of my wedding day! She took care of every little detail! My wedding and reception was beautiful, thanks to them! They had everything taken care of, I didn't have to worry about anything. Jalen even stayed with my bridesmaids and I the morning of the wedding. He even bought us really good snacks! It was greatly appreciated! He kept us on time and in order! We were ready and on time!! From the ceremony to the reception...was BEAUTIFUL!!!! They made sure everything ran smooth and if we needed something they made sure we got it!! I'd recommend this company to all brides!!!! A++++ THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!! TWIN#2

Aside from saying yes when my wonderful husband proposed, hiring The Four Seasons Event Group was absolutely the best decision I made during my entire wedding planning process.

Pilar was amazing. She took my luxury wedding fantasy and executed everything I wanted on my "non-luxury" budget. I truly had the wedding of my dreams. It was everything I ever wanted and so much more than I could have imagined.
She works with the absolute best vendors and really fought for me to have everything I wanted on my day. Her coordination and professionalism were outstanding.
If you are like me, a bride who had wedding dreams that were bigger than the budget, or you are drowning in Pinterest boards full of ideas and no idea how to execute them; The Four Seasons Event Group is the answer. It's the best decision you will make during your wedding.
Pilar and Jalen assisted me with both my bridal shower and the wedding. Phenomenal service!!!! Jalen was hands on for the bridal shower and he is definitely a perfectionist. Jalen ...
would not allow me to stay and help, but when I returned I was blown away. Jalen made sure my vendors did their job and that I was okay during the shower. Pilar made sure everything was as I wanted by the end of the night. Pilar and I worked together collectively on the wedding planning. I was very hands on with what I wanted and Pilar did not mind despite the many changes due to my indecisive behavior :) Pilar definitely brought my vision to life and more. Pilar is full of surprises and I am too nosy for that, but I appreciated all of them. My vendors reported to her and she made sure they did their job. The one vendor who didn't most definitely gave me a partial refund. I call these 2 My Dream Team because they handled my request professionally and as time came closer they heard from me more and more. All I can say is despite the rain, my wedding was THAT DEAL!!!! So many compliments!!! One person stated it looked as if David Tutera planned my wedding LOL!!! What a compliment!!! I do not plan to have another wedding, but would love for them to help me with other events if their schedule is open :)
