Cyrus and Julie are a great team! Cyrus brought my vision to life and I enjoyed working with them through the whole process...they made it enjoyable and I was really happy with the...
end result. Highly recommend!!
The bride I was working with didn’t know what type of flowers she wanted, she just knew the feeling she wanted for her wedding day. Cyrus and Julie understood the vibe and brought...
incredible color and detail to the design. Each arrangement was stunning and unique. The chuppah was a work of art. The bride was so happy that they understood and designed beyond expectations!
From our first consultation in their magical indoor garden, Julie and Cyrus made ordering flowers for our big day easy and stress-free. With a few images for inspiration and a sho...
rt conversation, they created stunning bouquets, centerpieces, and boutonnieres. They are true artists who are passionate about what they do. The thought, care, and attention to detail they put into their work showed and helped make out wedding day special. We recommend anyone looking for a florist go to the Flowerfall!
Julie and Cyrus made a small impromptu wedding as fantastical as if if were planned a year ahead for a huge venue. They sat with the bride to be and entourage to explore what she ...
envisioned for her magical day. They were helpful in figuring out the best presentation for an at home ceremony, and were flexible in terms of budgeting. Most appreciated was getting it done over a holiday week-end! When the flowers including a magnificent wreath and planters were delivered and set up the finished product blew us all away: Ethereal, magical, original flowers and plants that had the bride in tears of joy. Cyrus is a true artist and Julie is so supportive!!! Cannot day enough kind words and how much gratitude we have for making the bride and groom’s day so special. Many many thanks.
The beauty of a flowerfall is how it starts and ends; from the thrill of the first juicy blooms of earth to the delicacy of the tender dried petals fluttering around the yard in th...
e setting sun.
I met the love of my life in fifth grade. It's been a long road since we were nine...a first dance, a first kiss, high school prom, off to the military for him, my moves across the world, and the most painful aspect aside from us living apart all those years was waiting for my divorce decree to arrive in the mail after 12 painful years of being married to the wrong man. Whoever said you can't get divorced and married in the same month is not telling the truth. You need a good man, a great outfit and some gorgeous flowers. And cheese and champagne of course, but that is for after. The beauty of love is always an occasion to celebrate. And true love deserves the perfect flowerfall, a life from beginning to end. A full circle.
I recently moved home to Connecticut and have been driving by an enchanting flower shop on the Post Road in Westport with a canopy entrance of twisting vines and bursting greens. I pulled in on a whim and met Cyrus, who owns the shop with his wife Julie. He was tying ribbons and smelling stems and checking petal counts. His hands never stopped moving. He smiled and asked, what brings you in? I'm getting married, I said. That's wonderful, he said. Congratulations! Just please tell me it's not this Saturday...I have a wedding of 150. He laughed and was back to the petal count and the ribbons and the admiration for his exquisite, thoughtfully-sourced flowers. There was a pause then as he realized I wasn't laughing back. His fingers stopped moving then and he looked me straight in the eyes. It's Saturday, I said. He turned pale. It's in my front yard, I said. I'm wearing a shawl and jeans and cowboy boots. It's a party of four. We met in fifth grade. His eyes lit up and some color came back to his cheeks.
I ran to my car and pulled the outfit out of my trunk to show him. I had purchased it a few minuted beforehand. He nodded in approval and said he knew just what to do. Can you be here by 9am? Yup, I said. You're much easier than my other bride, he said. We cracked up. No really, he said. How fabulous for you. It's a true love story. I just wish you were here to meet my wife Julie. He showed me her picture. As I was leaving he said I just have one more question...What's his name? I blushed and told him. He still remembers.
The sun came out just in time for the nuptials, and each stunning petal gleamed, wrapped and cut and created into utterly precious bouquets designed with my shawl and jeans and cowboy boots in mind. When I picked up the flowers unshowered and rushed at 9am with puffy eyes, Cyrus said I was glowing (more like sweating) and that he threw in a dash of dark rose to the arrangements because he knew I was wearing a chocolate brown silk shirt. I can't be certain but I think he had a halo.
What a gem of a couple and a top notch, full-service display of art and class and beyond all, the elegance of their kindness and service. The Flowerfall, aptly named and run, is the only destination for blushing young (and old) brides and beautiful gatherings, however big or small. I'll never get married again but I assure you there will be some parties. Cyrus and Julie will be invited. If they ask what they can bring I won't be suggesting the artichoke dip.
When it came time to choose the florist for my daughter’s wedding, there was no question that we would choose Cyrus at The Flowerfall. Cyrus has provided floral arrangements for u...
s for every memorable occasion and holiday since he provided a flower crown for my daughter’s First Communion more than 20 years ago. Cyrus is an artist in every sense, and the designs he creates are unique, reflecting his artistry and the quality of the flowers he chooses. He provides highly personalized service, and after you sit with him and Julie in their indoor garden and discuss your vision for the day, you come away knowing you are in good hands. He created a floral design for three separate venues, the Church, a waterside cocktail reception and a formal dinner reception. Each design utilized unique flowers and different arrangements to compliment the venues and provide a subtle but spectacular backdrop for our event. Wedding guests always comment on food, wine and music, but when we found our guests raving about the flowers we knew our partnership with Cyrus had paid off.
The Flowerfall and Cyrus were extremely helpful with the floral arrangements and boutonnières I needed for a wedding last weekend. Cyrus is a true artist - his arrangements are inv...
entive as well as breathtakingly beautiful. We were on a tight schedule, and he went out of his way to be sure everything was ready on time.
I highly recommend Flower Fall to anyone needing a florist for any occasion. I’ve been a guest at dinners where Cyrus has done the flower arrangements and those have been exquisite as well.
Besides the artistry Cyrus brings to his arrangements, he’s also a lovely man and easy to work with.
My husband and I HIGHLY recommend the Flowerfall! Cyrus and Julie listened very carefully and thoughtfully to what we were looking for and the results were EXQUISITE! They also ...
had artistic suggestions that we are very happy we followed. Cyrus' artistic floral arrangements were stunning and perfect in style and composition for the rooms in which the ceremony and the reception were held. The floral arrangements, urn arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres incorporated the flowers and colors we requested. Cyrus promised the flowers would be fresh and even though we believed him, we were AMAZED by how fresh and beautiful they were. Julie and Cyrus were easy and flexible to work with - they put in a lot of time and effort and the results were superb!!!
Julie and Cyrus are an absolutely incredible team that any couple would be lucky to work with for their wedding. Admittedly, my family has known and worked with Cyrus for over 20 y...
ears, so it was a no-brainer when I got engaged that The Flowerfall would take care of the flowers. That said, for those who are on the hunt for beautiful, unique, and creative florals for their wedding, we have 20 years and one spectacular wedding day of evidence to prove that there is no better choice than The Flowerfall.
Julie and Cyrus sat down with us early in the wedding planning process to get a sense for the size and vision of the wedding. Even though I don’t know much about floral design (I couldn’t list off the exact flowers I did or didn’t want in our arrangements, etc.), simply giving Cyrus a sense of the color scheme and general aesthetic was all he needed. He is a true artist and can bring to life any vision, any color palette, any feeling that you are looking for on your wedding day. To give a sense of his versatility and creativity, Cyrus created two tall, dramatic arrangements for the altar in our Church ceremony; unique, colorful buckets of wildflowers (including fruit!) for our outdoor cocktail hour on the water; and chandelier greenery, garlands (with actual olives and olive branches!) for farm tables, and soft and elegant centerpieces at the reception. He managed to create three distinct feelings and atmospheres based on the venues of the day, yet all three flowed beautifully together making the entire experience feel cohesive. The bridal bouquets were designed based on photos that I shared in advance of the wedding, and beautifully complimented the dresses. Cyrus took great care with my bridal bouquet, referencing photos of my wedding dress to ensure that the aesthetics of the dress and the flowers aligned.
Leading up to the big day, Cyrus and Julie were in constant contact via phone and e-mail, clarifying last minute changes and ensuring that their creations were going to match our expectations. In the last few weeks, we added chandelier arrangements, changed some of the table décor needs, and adjusted groomsmen boutonniere quantities – all of which Julie and Cyrus handled in stride. Sure enough, the day went off without a hitch. All the florals were at the ceremony and venue in plenty of time, and absolutely spectacular. We have continued to receive countless compliments on the floral design to this day, and love looking back at photos.
My husband, family, and I truly cannot thank Cyrus and Julie enough for making our day absolutely incredible. They are wonderful to work with – we can’t recommend them enough!
Our arrangements from Flowerfall in Westport were simply outstanding.

us put in, and it reflected both them and us perfectly. My (now) wife also wanted to mention that the pomegranates were a lovely Persian touch :)
We also wanted to say that getting to know Julie and Cyrus was one of the most enjoyable parts of the process. Sometimes when you meet people, you just kind of click and have that instant connection. Involving people like Julie and Cyrus as a key part in our special day was an honor and a privilege. It made things so special. They only do great work, but they're great people as well.
I enthusiastically recommend Flowerfall for any big occasion. Meet these two and love them like we do!
Greg and I really enjoyed working with Julie and Cyrus. The bouquets and the arrangements are some of the most beautiful works we have ever seen. We could see from the arrangement...

The Flowerfall had been our go-to provider of beautiful arrangements for all our special occasions for years, but when it came to our son's wedding, we did our due diligence and i...
nterviewed several vendors. The Flowerfall was the clear winner, and we embarked on what turned out to be the quickest, easiest and most rewarding process for this very important day. Julie and Cyrus met with the young couple to get a sense of what they were envisioning, and their instant connection with each other resulted in a perfect understanding of the kind of feeling and atmosphere they wanted to create. A couple of emails were exchanged, and we were all very excited and confident that Cyrus and Julie would deliver the very special setting in which the vows would be exchanged. We were not disappointed--the outdoor ceremony was framed by a set of striking arrangements and the venue delivered the simple, understated yet classy and yes, joyful compositions that matched the bride and groom to perfection. The mood was beatifully
captured and executed. The sense of connection that was felt from the beginning reverberated through the evening, and was part and parcel of the success of this most amazing night. Our grateful thanks and fondness go to Cyrus and Julie---an unforgettable part of this wonderful evening.
Julie and Cyrus were absolutely amazing to work with from beginning to end, and they will always have a special place in my heart. They created a personal inspirational portfolio, ...
just for us, to help plan and envision our wedding flowers and all the details. Extremely organized! I could have stayed for hours in their flower shop. It’s like no other shop I’ve ever been in. I felt like I stepped into a secret garden as we sat around the wood stove, eating grapes, and talking flowers. They managed my expectations and worked within my budget and the result was beyond my wildest dreams. They were flowers to remember and created just the ambience I envisioned - elegant, joyful, and eclectic. They always took their time when meeting with us. They are top notch and I plan to continue to use them for all my flower needs.
With all the stresses of wedding planning, flowers were definitely my (then) fiancee's domain. In fact, I hadn't even seen them before they showed up on our special day (typical gr...
oom, right?).
What I do know, is that Julie & Cyrus went above and beyond—not just in their creativity, but their kindness and their commitment to making our event as special and unique as possible. They treated us as if we were family. And they genuinely took pride in their work.
When I walked in the room for the first time, I was blown away. I'd never seen arrangements as tasteful and stunning as these. I learned they even flew in rare flowers from Japan just to add flavors of colors we wanted. Truly amazing.
Their work speaks for itself and I'd recommend them to anyone planning an event they'll always remember.

he arrangements Cyrus created were unreal...like something out of a glamorous magazine - I'm not a crier, and they brought tears to my eyes. Just about every guest commented on how stunning his creations were, and we had mini battles the next day when friends and family were fighting over who got to take home a centerpiece! I cannot rave enough about Cyrus and Julie - they are the best!
The Flowerfall in Westport were magnificent in creating the perfect look for my daughter's wedding. From the preliminary meetings with Julie and Cyrus to understand what we liked ...

rpieces. Florals are such an important part of the decor on a wedding day, and the team at The Flowerfall brought their A Game. On top of it all, Julie and Cyrus were incredibly wonderful to work with. Fabulous job!
Our first florist failed us, and we called Cyrus at The Flowerfall in total desperation just 6 hours before our wedding. He was warm, thoughtful, caring, and extremely generous in ...
putting together an extraordinary set of bouquets and boutonnieres with time to spare. The arrangements were gorgeous and featured a variety of flowers and colors that fully complemented our wedding vision. We were especially impressed with the focus and energy that he brought to this job. He requested that we send pictures of our wedding attire to him, and he put together a selection of flowers that worked perfectly with what we were wearing. His attention to detail, his creative flair, and above all else his genuine interest in working with us to bring beauty and elegance to our nuptials was moving and inspiring. He did all of this in record time and with great joy and kindness. We feel so lucky to have found The Flowerfall, and we recommend this shop with our greatest enthusiasm!!

n as we met them we knew they were the ones to put our trust in for our wedding flowers. Cyrus’s passion for his work radiates from every part of him. He is an artist to the bone and has a vision beyond anything we could have asked for or dreamed of. Julie is incredibly knowledgeable and organized, the perfect person to lock down exactly what to do and how to execute perfectly for your special event. The two of them could not have made us feel more welcome and at ease that we were in the right hands. We simply showed them some pictures of our wedding vision, and said no more. We were sure they would execute accordingly, and what we got was beyond what we could have even imagined. When I walked down the aisle I was in awe of our arch that they put together for our beach wedding. They even made the most amazing flower crown for my niece as the flower girl. The centerpieces were a huge hit, everybody commented on how lovely all of the flowers were and fought over who got to take them home! Every detail was perfect. They worked with our budget to create the wedding flowers of our dreams. We have found a florist for life in these guys and couldn’t be happier. On top of being the perfect wedding vendor for us, they are truly special people who we couldn’t be happier to have found friends in. We connected with them instantly, which made it so easy to put our trust in them. They made us feel like they genuinely cared as much as we did about our wedding, and it showed in every meeting, every action, and every floral detail of our wedding. I say with complete confidence that Julie and Cyrus at The Flowerfall are the best around and if you’re reading this review, look no further and book with them immediately. You definitely will not be disappointed!! Love love love! Couldn’t be more grateful.
So helpful. Amazingly creative. Absolutely beautiful flower arrangements. Julie and Cyrus are the best to work with. Such personalized service. I recommend them 1000%

my wedding and trusted it would be beautiful and he did not let me down! I had some ideas of what I wanted for flowers and Cyrus took my ideas and made them 10x more beautiful. I couldn't have imagined floral designs as beautiful as what we received. My bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, flowers at the church, table center pieces, card table, etc. every piece was perfectly put together. Words cannot describe the amazing work Cyrus created. We received so many compliments on the flowers the day of as well as weeks after the wedding. Not only were the flowers beautiful, the process was organized and easy. If you are in need of a florist I whole heartedly recommend the Flowerfall. You will not be let down, in fact it will exceed your expectations!

lie and Cyrus we knew we did not have to look any further. The enjoyment Cyrus receives from flowers and plants is contagious, and the arrangements he creates are truly artistic and beautiful. Together, Julie and Cyrus created a beautiful environment at the Waveny House where my daughter, Eda, and new son in law Armen got married this past summer. Everyone made comments all night about how the bouquets and centerpieces were the most beautiful arrangements they have ever seen, and I agree! It was a wonderful, fun filled night with Julie and Cyrus's arrangements setting the stage.

artist who got to know my wife and I on a personal level - he wanted to understand what we were passionate about, what our families are like, what our interests and joys are - so that he could design flowers for us that weren't only gorgeous, but reflective of ourselves. Julie was a pleasure to work with, always made sure we were organized, on schedule, and following up with us. They made us feel like we were their only clients in the universe, even though they had many others. Cyrus and Julie worked with us on a budget. The quality of the flowers was incredible - I had family and friends raving about them for weeks to come. We could not have been happier with our choice of florists and could not recommend these two more!

do our wedding flowers. The ambience of his shop and his work buzzes with his creativity and artistic genius... so authentic, organic, romantic, and magical! Working with him was truly a partnership and a wonderful experience. Building a mutual trust with his clients was very important to him. He really listened to our vision and ideas and took some time to get to know us, then met us with a spectacular, creative “flowerfall” proposal that was perfect for our wedding themes and the venues we had picked for our ceremonies and celebrations. He so completely exceeded our expectations in every way- from our initial meeting to delivery of the flowers on our wedding days. He was very professional in the most personal and humble way, and so enjoyable to work with. His prices were much more reasonable than the commercial florists would have charged us for what I would consider a cookie-cutter experience and flowers. We highly recommend Flowerfall for all your floral needs!
We used The Flowerfall for our June 2016 wedding, and looking back it was the very best choice we made. The Flowerfall is a florist above the rest. Cyrus and Julie are so incredibl...
y talented and were wonderful to work with. We went in with a general color scheme and swatches of the different elements and let Cyrus and Julie's vision and creativity do the rest. The flowers they came up with really set the mood for the entire event and blended so beautifully with everything. Working with Cyrus and Julie was an absolute pleasure - they were flexible, accommodating and the sweetest people. The designs they came up with were incredibly unique - you won't find these flower combinations and designs with any other florist.
The ceremony arrangements, centerpieces and bouquets for the wedding were not only gorgeous and just what we wanted but continued to look great throughout the following day outdoors for our post-wedding brunch
and throughout that week! When we suggested certain flowers in our meeting, they provided honest feedback to ensure that the flowers looked beautiful outside and stayed fresh.
Their attention to detail was far beyond anything that we ever expected to the point that Cyrus and Julie staged the garden at the venue to blend the flowers at the ceremony and bride/bridesmaid bouquets. It was absolutely beautiful. Use The Flowerfall and let Cyrus and Julie's creativity run wild, you won't be disappointed.
Cyrus and Julie handled our September 2015 "Destination Wedding" seamlessly. With our venue location being nearly 2 hours from their shop, their superior planning worked out perfec...
tly as they brought everything they needed, and more. On-site they designed the following creations that surpassed our expectations to say the least; all of the wedding flowers for the bridal party and coordinating boutonnieres for the 11 groomsmen, the reception flowers in the barn, flowers around large lanterns and on wine barrels, the venue's entrance photography/flower display was a huge surprise as were the framed photos of the bride and groom hanging inside the barn, and Cyrus created the most gorgeous birch Chuppa structure under which we tied The Knot. This creative husband and wife team work side by side on every detail until it is perfect. They love creating beautiful flowers and will style your wedding until it meets their expectations. My special day was that much more memorable because of them and I am forever grateful!
Cyrus did the most amazing wedding flowers this past Saturday for our daughter's wedding ... in fact well beyond our expectations! She was near tears when she saw how stunning her...
bridal bouquet was. As she said "I was so in love with my bridal bouquet, all of the bridesmaid bouquets and every little beautiful detail that you created. The delphiniums looked amazing on the card table and I was so delighted with how the centerpieces came together." With an outside ceremony the hydrangea buds in the nearby garden had gotten zapped by the late spring freeze but he 'staged' it with hydrangea full flower heads in water tubes to add color and to complement the delphiniums atop his white birch bark stands above the large oversized baskets of fresh blue hydrangeas he had brought. His talent with flower arranging knows no bounds as well as his eye for detail.
He is honest when you ask for a flower that perhaps will not make it through the day due to its fragile nature but will suggest something that will be equally as beautiful. The flowers he uses are fresh from his NYC markets that he personally visits for the quality that he expects and desires for his creative talents.
My request for a floral piece for my purse was incredibly beautiful ... in fact a one of a kind .. while he complemented the father of the bride's boutonniere to not only my purse corsage but to the bridal bouquet as well.
This is not just a flower shop ... it is floral artistry at its best. The individualized service we received from Cyrus & Julie was refreshing. It wasn't just another wedding to them ... they listened and were both on top of every detail which included seeing pictures of the wedding gown and suggesting ways as to how to allow the dress not to be overshadowed by the bouquet. They take such pride in what they do and are such genuine .. welcoming .. lovely people.
When your wedding guests are asking ' wow ... who did the flowers and how & where did you find them? ' you know you made the right choice. And to answer part of that question .. we did the same. Someone recommended Cyrus' talents when they had a dinner party and then we were told that all the guests could talk about was not the food on the table but of Cyrus' beautiful centerpieces that adorned the table.
If you want unique .. stunning .. and wonderful lasting memories from beautiful flowers you need only look at The Flowerfall in Westport.

As a gardener and flower enthusiast with a limited budget, I had more than a few apprehensions about finding a florist. I had very little idea of how to order or plan flowers for a...
n event or what it might cost.
I'd talked to number of florists who basically wanted me to send them an order list and Pinterest boards to replicate , which kind of misses the point of hiring an expert in using flowers to make a space feel festive and beautiful. I was seriously considering bulk ordering flowers, since everyone I was talking to seemed to expect me to do all of the design work short of physically putting the flowers into vases. Enter the Flowerfall.
The moment I stepped into the shop in Westport, I knew I was in the right place. This was someone who loved flowers and would create a charming and welcoming space instinctively. Cyrus and I talked for nearly an hour the first meeting. I told him about the kinds of flowers I liked and the feel we were going for ('hobbit wedding,' basically). His care and experience were obvious; I came away confident that he would do an amazing job.
We met again week before the wedding to go over the floor plan and finalize details; I ended up needing to add a table which was no problem at all.
The arrangements were all different according to where they were sited. but they all worked together in the slightly casual 'English country garden' style, appropriate for an April wedding. The the only word for the arrangements is 'exquisite.' The indoor table arrangements were a mix of dogwood, hellebore, parrot tulips, sweet pea, white lilac, and what look like ruffly green tea roses - like something from Dutch Old Master painting. Outdoors, the arrangements were freer and more delicate. There was a jaw-dropping sheaf of delphiniums in whites and blues just inside the door. I'd go on but I'll run out of space.
Cyrus somehow managed to locate French peonies for my bouquet - something I had wistfully mentioned at our first meeting, since I was bemoaning that the cold spring meant that there was no chance for peonies by the date of the wedding. These were joined with speckled blue hydrangeas and others for the bridesmaid bouquets. He personalized corsages based on the colors that my mother and my mother-in-law were to wear, and the boutonnieres were both masculine and lovely (hydrangea and ivy.)
The arrangements were perfectly balanced, with the highest quality of flowers. They brought joy, not only to the day of but for a week or more afterwards to the guests who took the arrangements home. I went away on my honeymoon right after the wedding so my only regret is that I was not able to spend more time with the flowers myself! More than a dozen guests haven gotten in touch since the weddings specifically to enthuse about the flowers. They are WASP-y gardener ladies, too, who are NOT easily impressed or given to emote.
Cyrus truly loves his work and he is an artist. He worked absolute magic within my budget, which was not extravagant. He buys all his flowers at the flower market in New York City a few days before the event, purchasing only what is in season and of the highest quality. He really cares about his clients. He called to follow up after the wedding to see what we thought!
You can trust Cyrus and Julie to make your wedding flowers gorgeous and unforgettable, and working with them is a joy!
Cyrus is the most talented floral designer I've ever met. To me the flowers were the most important aspect of my wedding (besides the groom, of course) and Cyrus exceeded my expect...
ations! The flowers came out more beautiful than I could imagine. Cyrus and Julie are also the sweetest people ever...they worked within my tight budget and gave me arrangements that were better than the pictures I showed them. I would use them for any and all my floral needs!
Cyrus is an artist!!
The best!
I would highly recommend !!!
We loved working with Cyrus and Julie every step of the way, from the first meeting to the AMAZING chuppah and flowers they created. I can't recommend them enough!
This is by far my favorite florist. However, I was dissapointed with the process related to my wedding. It was very expensive, given the limited amount I needed and he was not wi...
lling to work with me to pare back on any of the centerpieces, types of flowers, etc. The price changed between our initial discussion and final discussion, rather significantly. His arrangements were stunning, but the added stress probably wasn't worth it. Add to that the fact he was very late delivering flowers (arriving as we were already getting ready for pictures). It's a small, artistic florist and for me, i should have gone in a different direction.
