Unbelievably talented, but also so professional and gracious, Crystal helped make my wedding day what it was--so special and the day of my dreams. What really blew me away was Crys...
tal's versatility: she designed a gorgeous, formal, romantic garden themed invitation suite, and then was able to pivot on a dime and design signage and day-of goods to match my "disco garden party" theme for the reception. My day would not have been what it was without Crystal and I am eternally grateful to all the work she did for us!
I was referred to the fancy cat studio by my wedding planner Hallea events. I had heard horror stories about signage/calligraphers from my girlfriends weddings and was honestly qui...
te hesitant. Costs and final products I would always feel I could have done the same thing on my own for cheaper. From the moment I started working with Crystal, she was excellent. She would send me designs and then take every single suggestion I made and make it better. For example, I told her I wanted the placecards to be some sort of wedding favor so she made them keychains. On top of that, I’m obsessed with kitties and she made them little kitty keychains! She truly went above and beyond for us. We are keeping all of her work and even have the bar sign she created displayed on our bar. Did I mention her prices are extremely reasonable? Never in a million years could I have created anything even close to what she did for us on my own. She’s worth every single penny!
My day-of coordinator (Hallea) referred me to The Fancy Cat Studio, and I could not have been happier. Crystal was amazing to work with. Not only does she work with the utmost prof...
essionalism, clear communication, quick responses, and is clearly a beautiful artist, she did all the invitations, signage, place cards and menus so efficiently (like a month or 2) and with our vision in mind. I remember when I received the first drafts for the invites, it was the first time I saw something real and tangible created from the Pinterest moodboard we made. Up til that point, everything was theoretical and kind of a guess as to how it might turn out. It honestly made me kind of emotional. Crystal took took some random pictures and color schemes we showed her on the internet and transformed it into real art that was beautiful and special to us. She also created this beautiful sign with our names and the date on it, which was arranged with a beautiful floral arrangement by our florist (Bahtoh), displayed at the entrance of our wedding. I loved it so much, after the wedding, my mom got a shadowbox and placed the sign and my dried bouquet in it. It's now hanging in our living room as a beautiful reminder of our special day. Thank you, Crystal! <3
Crystal was recommended to me a few weeks out from our intimate wedding. She was so easy to work with as her process is very efficient. Her work is also breathtaking.
Absolutely ...

th our wedding suite when I got engaged. Crystal is prompt, clear, supportive, and doubles as a therapist and friend. It was through the creation of the mood board for our suite that Crystal helped me unlock my most authentic vision for the wedding, which was more empowering (and surprising) than you can imagine. She was attentive, creative, flexible, and always made the work fun. She is SO easy to work with. I've never met another person who made me feel so at ease when asking for revisions, adjustments, edits, and mock-ups. Crystal also has this incredible ability to take your vision and your ideas and turn them into more than the sum of their parts. Hire her, and live your best life. She really is the best ever.
Working with Crystal was a DREAM! She is so talented and thoughtful in her work and really creates works of art! She took our ideas and brought them to life with little to no direc...
tion. She is so kind, so quick to respond, and takes your ideas and makes them even better than you could have ever imagined.
I treasure these paper goods and hold them so dear to my heart. Crystal went above and beyond with our suite and really made it special for us and allowed us to incorporate our loved ones and their legacies through her work! Now we have pieces we can hang on our wall that will always remind us of how special our day was. If I could recommend her a million times I would! I’m so grateful and so happy!

ade a ton of changes to just about everything we had planned. I sent her countless emails and she was always so gracious with every request I had! All of my day-of signage turned out perfectly, it exceeded my expectations for sure. Not only is her work absolutely stunning, but she is also such a sweet person and I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you, Crystal!
Working with Crystal is probably the best gift you can give yourself during your wedding planning process. I was in the process of moving from Baltimore to Dallas while planning a ...
wedding in Chicago. I had a hard time trying to find a balance between family and in-laws with a focus on tradition and etiquette but also wanting to be me a little more modern. Crystal was so incredibly patient and helpful. She helped be find a wonderful balance while barely lifting a finger! After our chats to help her get a sense of what I wanted/needed she was able to come up with the proper wording and styling within the budget I had given her. She would give me a number of suggestions and options and all I had to do was choose! She was even able to incorporate the custom illustrations of our venue into the design suite. It was about a month and a half from the beginning of the process (the start of our conversation) to finished products. And it was all done over the phone and emails (since I was constantly traveling between 3-4 cities at the time). I had MANY guests tell me that it was the absolute prettiest invitation they'd ever received. I can never thank Crystal enough for her efforts. If you need anything at all - Crystal is your girl!

e always stayed true to the overall style we were going for (boho chic) but was creative enough to help us make it our own. And I swear to you I didn't think it was possible to get so many compliments on a napkin. We're legit going to have to frame one or something it's so cool. Plus, she came up with a special symbol for us combining the initials of our names that I love so much I'm using it as inspiration for a tatoo so I can remember the day forever. Obviously, , couldn't recommend her more.

t email, I could feel her excitement and love for her job.
She listened so carefully to what we wanted and delivered the most beautiful acrylic signs. I came up with a wild idea for using period table elements for our chair back signs and she just completely knocked it out of the park! I AM OBSESSED WITH THEM! She was super flexible and even refunded us for one of our table numbers when we had to remove a whole table.
On top of all of this, she so thoughtfully made me a beautiful hanger for my dress and two small signs that said bride and groom without us even asking!!! She is SUCH a treasure. I would absolutely recommend Crystal to all future couples!
