Unfortunately, our experience at The District for our wedding on 9/12/26 was disappointing, and I would encourage future brides to be extra thorough and have everything planned out...
ahead of time. We encountered unexpected charges on our final bill, in which we had to audit ourselves multiple times. We were told there would be an additional $300 fee to keep the DJ an extra half hour the night of our wedding, despite our contracted venue access (which was for another 2.5 hours). Water pitchers were also removed before the night was over, guests being told water would have to be purchased and they needed to start washing the pitchers, despite our understanding that water would be available all evening. Our wedding cake—which a close friend had made for us—was thrown away after we had contacted a head staff member to put it aside for. We never received a response from this head staff member, only to find out the next day (from a different staff member) the night staff “didn’t know what to do with it” except simply toss it. Communication and follow-through on concerns were also disappointing. For such an important day, we expected better attention to detail, transparency, and service. I strongly recommend carefully reviewing your contract, confirming all fees, having a backup plan for everything, and clarifying every detail before your wedding if you choose to have it here.

st toured the place they had the mindset of “it’s your day, tell us what you want and we will make it happened.” They were so accommodating and understanding of everything we threw at them. The space is open and very elegant. It has a very nice look to it and was perfect for our wedding. Shawn and Cissy went above and beyond with everything. Answering all our questions, helping us figure out what would work the best with the space, and just bringing peace of mind to us in a stressful time. Wedding day was a dream come true! The service was phenomenal! Everyone was so fast and efficient! From setting up, flipping the room from ceremony to reception, serving all the food and keeping the bar flow going it was all done so fast and precise. There is seriously not a single thing we would change about the day. The District, ROAM, and all the staff there truly made our dreams come true. ❤️ Thank you for everything
