The venue itself is stunning. The mansion is beautiful and well maintained with so much history throughout the space. The gardens and yards are magical and was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and celebration. The whole venue is tucked behind trees making it feel perfectly isolated from the world outside, like you are in a separate fairytale world. On top of the venue being beautiful the staff was attentive and thorough. There was not a single thing that my family or I had to worry about on the day of. Our decor was set out beautifully and everything was organized, packed up, and loaded into our cars for us to take home at the end of the night. The entire Dempsey staff was caring and attentive to my husband and I as well as all our loved ones. Lisa, the venue manager, has many years of experience and it shows in how she runs the Dempsey. She is prompt and handles anything that a wedding might throw her way. Most of our vendors we booked came recommended by Lisa (Kelly - day of coordinator, Matt with Seamless Sounds- DJ, Hudson’s Edge - caterer, O&B on the Go - bartenders) and we had the absolute best team of vendors for our day all thanks to her advice. Our entire wedding day my husband and I were able to be fully present and enjoy our day together because we knew we were in good hands with the entire Dempsey team.

My husband and I got married at the Dempsey and would choose it a million times over. Aside from the gorgeous property, amenities, getting ready spaces, etc. The staff is really what makes this venue special. They understand your wedding day can slip away quickly and are proactive about allowing you to make meaningful memories. For example, they set up a space for my husband and I inside directly following our ceremony to allow us to privately soak in the fact that we just got married! They had waters, drinks, and appetizers waiting for us inside. They also set up an opportunity at the end of the night for us to have a private last dance on the back patio while our guests got ready for the send off. We look back on our day with so much fondness and great memories. Lisa manages the property and events and she had my back the entire process. She wanted my day to be as dreamy as I did! If you are between the Dempsey and another venue, I would choose the Dempsey JUST for Lisa! 10/10 experience

plated dinner reception under their lovely tent. We worked with Lisa Ferraro, Manager of the venue and received detailed, exceptional service. We knew we were in good hands from the day we chose The Dempsey with Lisa working with us on every little detail to make the day perfect. We worked with three vendors from their preferred vendor list. Kelly Miller-Latham, Events by KC, LLC was our Day of Event Coordinator. And let me tell you, YOU NEED THIS SERVICE to fully enjoy your entire day. Kelly assisted us on decor, flower and set up ideas. Her ideas were a perfect match to what my daughter was envisioning. Most importantly I, as the MOB, was completely stress free from the moment we arrived at The Dempsey right to when we were pulling out after each guest left. I never worried about one detail the entire day. Kelly was amazing. We also hired Matt Ferree, DJ and musician with Seamless Sounds to MC and handle every aspect of music. From the live musicians during the ceremony, to making important announcements and to keeping the dance floor PACKED all night. He is a true professional with exceptional music knowledge. We could not have been happier with Matt. Our caterer, Hudson's Edge Catering & Events, LLC out of London, Ohio knocked it out of the ballpark. Their food was amazing. We had guests that evening and weeks after reaching out to us to say how wonderful everything was and how exceptional the food was. What a wonderful feeling. We worked exclusively with Nicole McCrate and would not have wanted it any other way. Thank you to The Dempsey Event Center and their wonderful employees and vendors for making a once in a lifetime wedding so perfect.

nothing even came close. The property has a history and story to it as well, which we can definitely appreciate. It feels secluded with trees and foliage surrounding it on all sides and the mansion is unreal. This place is a hidden gem. The Staff Lisa Ferraro is just the best. She is so kind, insightful, proactive, and all-around fantastic at what she does. We'd spent a good amount of time getting to know her on the first day that we toured and everything just clicked. We had great, fun conversations and felt so much more relaxed about our wedding knowing that this was it. She connected us with the best vendors (shout out to Matt the DJ with Seamless Sounds!), went out of her way to accommodate the accessibility needs of our guests, and asked all the right questions to keep our wedding planning on track. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went perfectly and we can't say enough great things about her! The rest of the staff nailed it too-- the setup day-of looked beautiful and teardown went flawlessly.
