I could go on for days about how amazing The Creative Planners are! They brought our vision to life and made sure our wedding weekend was truly magical in every way. We had zero st...
ress or worries because we knew Stephanie and her team had it covered!
As the mother of the bride, I can honestly say that hiring our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process.
From the very beginning...
, she brought a level of professionalism, organization, and calm that immediately put our family at ease. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but she handled every detail with incredible care and precision, allowing us to truly enjoy the experience rather than stress over it.
What impressed me most was her ability to make everyone feel supported. She listened carefully to my daughter's vision and somehow transformed it into something even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire day flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
On the wedding day, she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Every vendor knew exactly where to be, every timeline was perfectly managed, and any challenges that arose were handled before we even knew about them. Because of her, our family was able to be fully present and focus on celebrating instead of worrying about logistics.
Beyond her exceptional skills, she is simply a wonderful person. Kind, responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in making the day special. It was clear throughout the process that she cared deeply about our family and wanted the wedding to be perfect.
Our daughter's wedding exceeded every expectation, and so much of that is thanks to her hard work, dedication, and talent. We will always be grateful for the role she played in creating one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a wedding planner who is not only extraordinarily talented but also a joy to work with.
Susan was invaluable with all of her assistance and ideas leading up the wedding. Her help with being EVERYWHERE wedding weekend was invaluable! She brought calmness and efficiency...
to the entire wedding event the entire time...and she is fun and happy to work with!
Stephanie and Creative Planners were absolutely incredible to work with. She took what can be a stressful process that can even overshadow the wedding itself and made it smooth and...
enjoyable. The final event was everything we hoped for - truly stunning - but almost as importantly, the planning journey itself was seamless.
Stephanie knew exactly which vendors to recommend, sparing us the stress of second-guessing our choices and spending countless hours reading reviews. Every vendor—from flowers to food—was outstanding, and that's thanks to her strong Chicagoland network. Throughout it all, she remained calm, professional, and always available to share ideas or address concerns, not only for us but also for our parents.
We also loved Stephanie interpersonally. Planning a wedding means spending countless hours thinking about one day, so it’s important to do it with someone you trust and genuinely like. For us, Stephanie made that entire period special. It was the best weekend of our lives, and a really terrific summer leading up to it. We knew we were in a professional's hands, and that meant we could just get excited about the weekend, not worry about our and our guests' experience. Yes wedding planning can be stressful but Creative Planners really limited that stress entirely. We could not recommend Stephanie and Creative Planners more highly.

e truly grateful for their unmatched attention to detail and thoughtful insights and recommendations. Our wedding was a small, intimate occasion with less than 30 people in attendance. Holli and Susan kept us on track, helping ensure no detail went unnoticed. Perhaps most importantly, having their help leading up to and on our wedding day meant my husband and I could be present with each other and our loved ones - the greatest gift of all!

From the beginning, she understood our vision perfectly and elevated it to a whole new level. Her organization is second to none, and she has an amazing network—seriously, she knows someone for everything! Whether it was florists, venues, or unique details, she made sure every aspect was flawless.
Our wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams, and we owe it all to Stephanie and her team. She created the most magical, stress-free day, and we couldn't be more grateful. If you're planning a wedding, trust me—The Creative Planners are a must!

tations and our guests. If I could only give one recommendation for the rest of my life, it would be to work with them! The wedding planning process can be very daunting especially at the onset of an engagement and Alexa and Stephanie from day one made a huge effort to get to know us and understand our vision. For the first half of our engagement, we were still living in NYC and Alexa and Stephanie could not have been more accommodating. They have THE best vendor relationships and that can really make or break the event. They are incredibly prompt, communicative and exceptionally creative and innovative. Alexa has impressive attention to detail and is fantastic at her craft. Something I had never thought about until going through this process, was just how much time you spend with your planner. By the time we had our wedding, The Creative Planners felt like family and Matt and I feel so fortunate to have worked with them. Thank you for everything!!

our 2020 postponement. She helped make our dream wedding come true this past summer after waiting two years! I am definitely a Type A Bride and very detail oriented. I was looking to work with a planner that would give me a piece of mind and offer insight when making big (and little) decisions. Needless to say, Stephanie was the perfect fit. She is extremely knowledgeable about weddings and has amazing relationships with vendors in the industry. Stephanie is unbelievably kind, professional, and organized. Since the wedding, we have had so many guests comment on how beautiful everything was! My husband and I are so thankful to have worked with Stephanie and consider her like family now. I highly recommend The Creative Planners to all my family and friends.

o postpone from 2020 to 2021 was really hard but they truly helped me make sense of it all and keep everyone on track. Our wedding would not have been as streamlined without them and I would have been A LOT more stressed. Well worth the money to have someone contact and coordinate vendors, provide vendor recs, put together a timeline and more. There was honestly so much I would have just forgotten without them! I highly recommend this team if you're getting married in Illinois or surrounding areas!

ence and truly goes above and beyond for her clients. I don't know how she does it, she made me feel like I was her only wedding all year! One little example of Stephanie's ability to truly manage it all was her preparedness in the midst of all the Covid related changes to our wedding. Our head table had to be separated into three tables due to Covid restrictions; however, because Stephanie thinks of everything she ordered one long linen, in addition to the three, just in case the restrictions lifted in time for our event. Sure enough a day before our wedding the city lifted the table number restrictions and she was completely prepared with the extra linen. She made wedding planning so easy and I was so relaxed and happy on my day knowing I had her. On top of all this she is one of the kindest, most genuine people who truly loves what she does. I could not recommend her more highly!

nner who would see our vision and make it happen! This is what Stephanie at Creative planners did beautifully, created a wedding that was everything our daughter dreamt of.
She is able to get the best out of her vendors and seeing how well liked and respected she is by them is testament to what a good planner she is.
The best compliment I can give her is to relate what our daughter and son in law had to say …
‘Our wedding was even more fabulous than what we had imagined it to be’!
Oh my goodness, Stephanie was wonderful! My daughter and new son-in-law had been engaged for almost a year--what started out originally as a church ceremony and a big Chicago Bota...
nic Garden reception morphed into something much smaller as we negotiated our way through the murky, ever changing restrictions and cancellations during this crazy 2020 year of Covid in Illinois! Stephanie was our rock. Her calm demeanor and ability to be nimble and creative guided us through the process, helping us to manage our heartbreak and disappointment as our guest numbers (and venue options) had to be greatly reduced. She suggested alternatives and ideas that got us all excited again. We ended up having the reception for a smallish group in a beautifully decorated tent in our backyard, and now we can't imagine anything that could have been more ideal for our daughter's wedding.
Stephanie definitely has good relationships with all of the vendors we worked with-- they all think so highly of her, and she anticipated and handled everything with a calm confidence, no doubt from her years of experience. I didn't worry about one thing during the wedding weekend. It was perfect. We will definitely call her again when our youngest daughter is planning HER wedding someday!

anizational talents were invaluable in that the bride and groom were in two different cities and the parents of each were in another two cities. Furthermore. It was a destination wedding in the mountains in the middle of January! Stephanie was a powerful negotiator with the vendors and had terrific ideas that made the weekend memorable and intimate. Both the reception venue, which hosts over 75 weddings a year, and the rehearsal dinner venue mgmt, pulled us aside to comment that she was one of the best wedding planners they had worked with. Our wedding weekend started on a Thursday and ended on a Sunday - and she was there every step of the way. Five stars!
