I cannot begin to say how amazing Jeanne and Chris are! These two are so down to earth, realistic, hands on, and accommodating when it comes to the throws of wedding planning! Not to mention the venue itself being so gorgeous and receiving so many compliments on choosing the Christy House. It truly makes you feel like you’re in the british countryside, but in Ohio!
Amazing venue! They were super welcoming and helpful during rehearsal and set up the next day and even helped us with making our dance floor lit up and putting away leftovers at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend this venue to a future bride and groom!

The Christy House is a mansion wedding venue located in Fremont, OH. Originally built by the Christy family almost a century ago, it is an incredible example of Colonial Revival architecture. Today, the home and grounds welcome you to host celebrations and milestone occasions alike.
No matter the size of your event, The Christy House invites you to spread out and enjoy. Picture yourself making your grand entrance through the double foyer and the French doors into the enchanting grove to say those two magical words - “I do”. Follow your ceremony with an afternoon of cocktails on the terrace overlooking the meadow. Your celebration can continue late into the evening in a lantern-lit tent where you can dine and dance the night away. A suite full of rooms also awaits the wedding party to get ready in style. Every space both inside and outside the home including the surrounding Christy Farm Natural Preserve is a photo opportunity. You will have the time of your life creating the wedding album that will be the envy of many. One key feature to The Christy house is that you are able to spend the entire weekend on the property! The estate house has seven incredible bedrooms, many with en-suite baths and there is also a 2-bedroom apartment that guests can rent. Added to which, there are three hotels within proximity that your guests can retreat to pre and post-festivities.
There is ample parking space at the venue as well. The Christy House has partnered with many a local business to support your vision and they are happy to share those recommendations. You can hire your own caterers to personalize it further. You also get to create your own timeline, ensuring exclusive use and a hassle-free day.
