agram surfing and let me tell you the process from start to finish was nothing but top notch. The tasting was in the comfort of her home in which she spoiled me with some wine to go along with it. She was attentive and listened super carefully to my thoughts. Kellie’s cake made me love cake and that is a hard feat to do. Kellie customized my flavors and gave me great tips to make it the best product it could be. Also the design was gorgeous. She incorporated my family crest beautifully and it was like a piece of art. The compliments on the cake used only the best words in the English language. Kellie thank you for your amazing work. If you are looking for a delicious and foreground cake look no further than the chocolate llama!

. I would heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a cake for a big occasion.

st frosting we’ve ever tasted on any cake. The design of her cakes is outstanding. They are unique, intricate, and beautiful. Kellie’s vision, design, and final product show her utmost dedication to her craft. Both the wedding cake and the groom’s cake were gorgeous. Kellie worked with us through pricing to be sure we felt comfortable with the cost, and she was always easy to reach. The day of the wedding, she could not have made delivery and setup easier. At all aspects of the process, from the original phone call requesting samples to the delivery of the wonderful cakes, Kellie was professional, courteous, and devoted to making our interactions with her a great experience. Thank you, Kellie!

’ is most definitely an understatement—these creations were a delicious work of art unlike any we had seen. One was a piano with sheet music and the other a tall traditional wedding cake that tasted as great as it photographed! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to hire The Chocolate Llama. They handled all details professionally and were timely planners helping the wedding couple amidst other demands. As our happily married couple celebrated another anniversary this year, we’re still receiving questions about the phenomenal baker and her work!

tail of the product she provides. Oh, and make no mistake, her cakes will forever ruin any other cake you can get your hands on. They are that spectacular. If you make it home with any leftover to freeze for your first anniversary, good luck keeping your spouse from sneaking pieces of it when you aren’t looking.

Everyone asked who made the cake because they were so beautiful and so yummy. Kellie is super professional and a pleasure to work with.

it's even possible that this is a cake. The Chocolate Llama created cakes for my 50th birthday (that got more attention than me). One was a life-like replica of my beloved pup, Travis, and the other an almost exact copy of my vintage Corona typewriter. My guests were awe struck. Honestly, it was very difficult to cut into these cakes--they were just too beautiful. But eventually we did and it was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted. I highly recommend The Chocolate Llama!!

nd the Chocolate Llama.

ng one of Kellie's creations on my birthday--a cake that was a perfect replica of my antique doctor's bag! It looked so much like the original I almost picked it up by the handle! The best part was inside...rice krispie cake with peanut butter chocolate ganache...so decadent and delicious! When my niece announced her engagement a few years back, I jumped at the chance to recommend The Chocolate Llama. Kellie's personable and attentive approach allowed her to perfectly capture the cakes of their dreams. The bride's cake was a tower of pure beauty and grace draped in delicate flowers that everyone thought were actual blossoms--imagine their surprise when discovering these petals of sugary delight intricately sculpted by Kellie's masterful hands! And then there was the groom's cake--a flawless miniature of his favorite piano! It was so hard to believe it was a cake! We all were dazzled by Kellie's artful and imaginative designs and astounded that these works of art tasted so wonderful! If you haven't perused the gallery of cakes on Kellie's website, it's worth a tour to appreciate the vast range of Kellie's talent. I marvel at the precision, beauty, and whimsy packaged within her scrumptious cakes. And so it is with great enthusiasm that I offer my highest endorsement of our very own H-town Cake Boss, Kellie Herrod!

culpted and tiered cakes for our clients, grand openings and photo shoots that made their way to Martha Stewart Weddings. To say that we were impressed is a major understatement. Awe inspiring is more appropriate. Why? 1. You simply will not come across another cake maker, bakery, etc that cares more about your wedding than Kelly does. Her dedication to her work is inspiring. 2. Kelly is first and foremost an artist, you simply will not see the level of detail she achieves from bakeries who stamp out flowers from silicone molds. 3. The cake is actually delicious, she offers unique flavors and uses quality ingredients that really make a difference. 4. Myself and my husband are very happy to have The Chocolate Llama accessible because birthdays are better! I really could go on for a while with this review but in all honesty you don’t need to take my word for it, hop on over to her instagram and see for yourself! I am thrilled to recommend The Chocolate Llama to you and anyone else who asks!

ous and they can literally MAKE any shape or size you can dream up. 100% recommend them!

ere so delicious. I would highly recommend The Chocolate Llama, you will not be disappointed.

zing groom’s cake that included everything we ask for and more. Right down to our son’s favorite hat and beer on the cake. The greatest part about her cakes is they taste as great as they look. The crawfish pot cake was so impressive the venue even wanted to include it on their page.
