If you like the warehouse style that The Cheney Place offers, book this venue now! The space is absolutely beautiful and needs limited additional decor to look absolutely stunning. This venue offers so much more than other venues in the area: a day of coordinator that made the day seamless, furniture/chandeliers to enhance the space, a bar service in the venue, and vendor coordination a month out. They also provide set-up and tear down services which was amazing and so nice to not have to have parents or bridal party have to do it! My one complaint was sometimes having to wait on communications between 3-6 days, but in the week leading up to the wedding the response time did get quicker.

There aren't enough words to express how much we loved working with the Cheney Place. Since I didn't have a wedding planner, I relied heavily on Ali, Meg, and Sara via email; they graciously answered all of my questions, no matter how small, were always prompt in their responses, and were fantastic resources in helping me pick out everything that made our day so beautiful. Mindy, the owner, happened to be our day of coordinator, and was such a warm and delightful energy to have around. She clearly loves what she does and goes above and beyond to make her couples feel supported and to see their vision through with thoughtfulness and care. Ellie was in the elevator with my parents and me as we geared up to walk down the aisle, and was the calming presence I needed. She repeated herself several times when I was too nervous to process what she was saying, fixed my dress when I got out of the elevator, and put me at ease. I appreciate her so much. I also can't forget to mention that every single guest I spoke to told me how breathtakingly beautiful the venue was and that it was the most beautiful venue they'd been to. It was perfectly us with the vintage furniture, plants, gorgeous wooden farm tables, epic cocktail hour space, soft lighting, character-filled place settings and dinnerware, photo booth, and a dance floor that had plenty of space for us to have the time of our lives. They took care of absolutely everything on the day, which allowed my husband and me to savor every moment. We are endlessly grateful for The Cheney Place and cannot recommend them enough!

The Cheney Place is a warehouse for those who can’t wait to design their "urban meets vintage meets modern" wedding. We hope our building will woo you with its polished concrete and original hardwood floors, frosted warehouse windows, and turn of the century freight elevator. The open format and crazy flexible space screams of possibility. From a warehouse of included furniture you won’t have to rent to A collection of modern curated tabletop details to elevate your design, everything is here onsite. We are all inclusive where you want it with options where it matters. Our goal is to make full service and design easy which is why we also include full-service coordination with every wedding. From the experienced team behind Leona Road, The Foyer, Record Box Loft, and PUNCH Bar Catering, We are proud to include the following services at no additional charge to help plan your big day. • Design: We will meet with you to develop a custom floor plan for your event and assist with linen and tablescape options. • Event Setup: We’ll set up tables and chairs and stage all personal décor. • Tear It Down: When your party is over, we’ll pack everything up and put it all back in the boxes they came in. • Coordination: We’ll help plan your full timeline and coordinate details with your vendors the week of your event. Our team will manage your event, including ceremony, entrance, toasts, and send-off and work closely with your vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. We love great design! I would say that if you are getting married in the winter, make sure your photographer is versed with dark settings as it is very moody. I also would suggest taking all photos before the ceremony for the best lighting. I had Grace as my day of coordinator and she made sure everything was taken care of. I cannot say enough about her.

their staff was on top of everything and worked hard to ensure our wedding day went smoothly! We loved being able to select pieces to fit our style/vision from their warehouse, enjoyed the ease of planning with their team, loved the quality of the photobooth included in the design suite, and the overall vibe/layout of their building for each wedding day element (getting ready rooms, first look areas, etc.). We also appreciated their staff coordinating with all our vendors and setting up/tearing down our items as that was a big selling point for us. Working in events myself, I was worried about not being able to control everything; however the TCP team was amazing to work with and our guests had nothing but nice and positive comments about our big day. between the two was seamless. The variety of options for seating helped make sure our wedding felt like authentic for us. We opted for the Deluxe Package with the Photobooth and Farm Tables, which we would highly recommend. The Farm Tables helped create a unique, social seating arrangement that helped make sure we could keep our friends and family close together. The Photobooth was a hit throughout the night; with over 300 photos to look through our guests definitely took advantage of it! The staff was very helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, responding to questions, queries, and ideas in a timely, efficient manner. They were clear with communication which helped make our Wedding Day even more special. On the day of, they jumped right in to help with set up and to facilitate transitions throughout the day. They were even there with us at 9:00 am for our morning rehearsal. We never felt adrift or confused. They all truly love their work and are passionate about making events the best experience for all! Our vendors, who were recommended by TCP, all echoed these sentiments, as each one we reached out to stated they liked working with the venue. This was a huge relief for us as it made us feel more comfortable with the overall process. Even our guests rave about TCP, stating it was unlike any venue they've seen before. Dinner ended up being served 45 minutes late due to staff disregarding the specific timeline we lined out, discussed, and agreed upon prior to the wedding. I will say, leading up to the wedding the communication was great and the staff was very helpful. Just be prepared to have a lot of “extras” to pay for that are required through The Cheney Place (linens, alcohol, getting there an hour early, etc) and don’t get caught delaying signing your contracts for these things because they will raise the cost before informing you. We had high hopes for loving our reception at the Cheney place given a lot of positive reviews, but unfortunately it was not all the we had hoped and paid for.

The venue speaks for itself and pictures do not give the venue justice (and the pictures are BEAUTIFUL-- so imagine it in person). The second I stepped through the front door of TCP I knew I found my perfect venue. If I could relive my wedding day over and over again, I would. I have had countless guests from my wedding compliment the venue and the individuals who worked my wedding day. Thank you will never be enough but it is a start... thank you TCP!!!!!!!!!!

Between the sofas and other pieces available to decorate the space and the ability to transform the space between ceremony and reception, any design seemed feasible. The other spaces were equally great. The third floor was perfect for photos, especially during the winter. And our guests loved the second floor for cocktail hour! The decor and variety of seating spaces were appreciated by everyone. The only hiccup was with the photo booth printer, which wasn’t working. But the team did compensate us and sent both the digital and physical prints afterwards. However, there are a few items to know ahead of time with their in-house bar service, Punch. They have a “no glass after dancing starts” policy, which means they switch to plastic cups. The ones provided are very basic, so we opted to purchase our own plasticware. Additionally, they gave us a pretty hard time when it came to which cocktails we were allowed to serve. While there are some sensible restrictions in the contract, when it came time to finalize our menu, they initially told us certain others were not allowed; we ultimately were able to work through it. With that said, their service is very affordable and customizable, which we loved.
