We recently held our wedding at The Brightside Music & Event Venue and we were so happy with how everything turned out! From getting ready in the bridal suites, to the ceremony in ...
the beautiful Loft, to the cocktail hour in the bar and the reception in the ballroom, it was a perfect day! The Brightside staff worked with us every step of the way and were great at communicating and explaining things. Carli, Sophie and Suzy were particularly wonderful at making sure all of our needs were met in the leadup to our event and the day of. Our guests were very complimentary of the bar staff throughout the night. The suggestions and insights from Carli & Sophie were extremely valuable throughout the planning process. Our guests loved taking photos on the upstairs patio swing and the weather was so great that the outdoor patio downstairs became a great spot for guests to hang out. The venue has so much personality to it and we cannot be more pleased with our decision to have our wedding there! We highly recommend The Brightside for your next event!

some strict rules on clean up and you are required to do all the set up and clean up, but with a great team of help and day of coordinator, it was so great and the staff was helpful. They give you a very detailed online planner to help you stay organized and on top of seating/catering/vendors and keeping it all straight timing wise.

rything went smoothly. We loved having the suites upstairs to spend the morning and also rented the venue the evening before the wedding for our rehearsal dinner and decorating time. It was so great to have everything we needed in one place, including the indoor ceremony location so that we didn't have to worry about the weather. The Brightside is an amazing venue and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to get married in Dayton.
The Brightside was not only a beautiful venue with a great layout, and rustic charm, the staff were a pleasure to work with. One of the dealbreakers for us when we were venue shopp...
ing was that we had to be able to pick our caterer as we wanted to use our favorite burger joints food truck. It was incredibly frustrating finding venue after venue forcing their preferred cater onto us. I’ve worked a lot of weddings and my experience has been that the catered food is not very good and it’s excessively expensive. The joy we had when we found that this beautiful venue 2 minutes from the Oregon District had the flexibility to allow their bride and grooms control their food choices. They also had a very flexible bar plans (the bar tenders were awesome), and had great facilities that worked perfectly for the aerial performer and pony we had for the cocktail hour entertainment.
The groomsmen and bridal suits on site are beautiful and made for great getting ready photos. Plus, having the option to have our ceremony inside or outside was perfect. We felt very taken care of by The Brightside!
The Brightside was amazing! We worked mostly with Carli and she was fantastic to work with. We had our ceremony in the loft, our cocktail hour in the bar and our reception in the b...

We had a wonderful experience with The Brightside for our wedding reception! Carli and Hamilton were so helpful and really worked hard to make our reception unique and fun for our ...
guests, while also maintaining Covid-19 guidelines for the safety of everyone involved. We used the loft space to get ready and do our first look and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The ballroom was a great size to space out tables to make everyone comfortable, and we even used the stage to sing a few songs for our guests because my husband and I are musicians. You really don't need many decorations at The Brightside because the space is so beautiful and well decorated already! The new patio space is a wonderful addition to the venue, and we had a Graeter's food truck outside for dessert for our guests. I cannot recommend this venue enough!!
Amazing venue. The owners are so easy to work with. Price is very affordable especially for the value of such a beautiful building
