The Boudoir District is based in Hammond but welcomes clients from all across Louisiana and beyond to show up and show off. Whether you arrive on your own or bring your partner, there is no need for prior experience in front of the camera. An expert photographer will be on hand to guide you throughout, while an all-female team will work with you on wardrobe, makeup, styling, and so much more.

When you arrive at the Boudoir District, you don't need to know how to pose professionally or fear the camera's lens. Most people who arrive for a boudoir shoot, no matter their level of experience, will feel nervous initially. Like your inner and outer beauty, it's only natural. From start to finish, you are in control of every moment, as the session is personalized to your tastes and comfort level. You choose how you want to be photographed. As part of the package, the Boudoir District offers professional hair and makeup services and wardrobe styling, as well as a passionate team to walk you through the entire experience. Hi, I’m Emily, owner and lead photographer behind The Boudoir District. I’ve been a photographer since 2017, but before picking up a camera professionally, I worked as a makeup artist and esthetician. Making women feel comfortable, cared for, and confident has been part of what I do for a long time, just in a different way now.
I know being in front of the camera can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to boudoir. Most of my clients come in nervous and have no idea how to pose, and I never expect you to. I’ll guide you through everything from beginning to end, down to your hands, facial expressions, and the little details, and we’ll probably be laughing somewhere in between.
Whether you’re creating a bridal album, doing something completely for yourself, or coming in for a couples session, I want you to feel comfortable, taken care of, and like yourself throughout the entire experience. My job is to take care of the rest.
