tonian immediately! The Bostonian was the first venue we saw and knew that it was likely to be the one. We knew that we wanted to be in the city, but didn't want a stuffy hotel ballroom. Although it is a hotel, The Bostonian was far from a standard ballroom. We immediately fell in love with the amazing giant windows, incredible staff and the location. We did our due diligence and saw countless other options, but in the end, The Bostonian offered everything we were looking for and more for way less than the competitors. Not to mention, Nicole is a goddess among mortals and I wasn't going to pass on the opportunity to work with her! Before booking, we had decided to have dinner at North 26 to get a sense of the food. The food was very important to us and while they are different menus, the same head chef handles both their restaurant and events menus. During our dinner they managed to give us a sampling of appetizers from the catering menu, which blew my mind! Everything we tasted, at that dinner and at our official tasting dinner, was incredible. Not a single person at our wedding had a bad thing to say about the food. While the space and food was key for us, it was the people who really made The Bostonian stand out. Everyone we came in contact with from the door man to the front desk manager to our event manager, Nicole Shapiro, were outstanding! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and supported. Nicole answered my countless ridiculous questions - trust me there were a lot of them - quickly and without hesitation. If she ever once thought I was insane, she certainly didn't show it! She even helped us unload the uHaul of supplies we dropped off before the wedding and assemble our welcome bags. As an event planner myself, I knew that the hardest part of my wedding was going to be letting myself enjoy the day and not focusing on running the event. With Nicole at the helm, I didn't worry for a single second that day or the two years we worked together leading up to it. She is a DREAM to work with and I can't recommend her enough! If we were to do it all over again, we would 100% book the Bostonian again! ps. You can see the fireworks from the balconies on New Year's Eve. Just saying ;)

n, right across from Faneuil Hall. You can walk to so many beautiful places for photos from here. I truly don’t think you can beat the location. The Seasons Ballroom has a unique vantage point of the city. You get skyline views without being 50+ stories high. Right out the window is Faneuil Hall & Quincy Marketplace, the clock tower, and some other beauties! We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom and the setting couldn’t have bene more dreamy. The Seasons Ballroom has modern and clean feel, perfect for any decor you want to add. Most hotel ballrooms have bold and busy rugs, dated light fixtures, and feel overly stuffy, but this space is so modern and fresh. We worked closely with Nicole (and Rachel was great too, who we talked to a few times!) and she guided us through the whole process. The pricing was very fair, especially for a Boston wedding. Nicole worked with us on ironing out our day of schedule, made vendor recommendations, and was very responsive. The day of our wedding, she coordinated everything. I didn’t have to worry about talking to any vendors or worrying about anything at all. She handled everything. The staff at the Bostonian, especially Nelson, the head waiter was great. He took care of our sweetheart table and our parents tables and was so warm, friendly, and provided such a high level of service. The food was wonderful. The options at the Bostonian were so hard to choose between since they have such a generous menu. People complimented the food and desert (we had the North End desert platter which was DELICIOUS!). I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day. Thank you to Nicole & the Bostonian for the big part you played in our day! :)

s a lovely glass atrium, in an amazing location right next to Faneuil Hall. The best part is the amazing package deal at a variety of price points depending on your budget and each package is fully customizable. Nicole Shapiro was so helpful in coordinating everything and making us feel secure in our decisions and plan for day-of; we didn't even need to hire a coordinator because she handled everything from helping us select the menu to telling us when it was time to cut the cake. She's also a delight to work with and superstar at her job -- even while she was planning her own wedding! When it came to day of, the entire staff was super attentive and all of the guests raved about how caring everyone was. When I walked in to the cocktail hour, one staff member immediately offered me some of the passed hors d'oeuvres and made sure to check in on me and offer more food! The food was AWESOME and they were very flexible when it came to the menu, so I was able to tailor the menu and even add a completely custom salmon option. The package is unbeatable - you'll have a place to get ready with your ladies (with salon chairs and breakfast and mimosas!), and all of the tiny details are taken care of -- no need to worry about insane rental upgrades and Nicole handled working with all of our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. I could not be more thrilled with how our special day worked out and I would absolutely choose the Bostonian if I had to do it all over again. Your day will be amazing here and it won't break the bank to have an absolutely stunning wedding!

say enough kind and wonderful things about Nicole. She was always patient and understanding. She was amazingly helpful and even helped with small decisions when I couldn’t “see” it in my mind. Leading up to the wedding she kept me on target and made sure to check in about scheduling and keeping a timeline together. The day of the wedding she was a godsend. Ladies- your wedding day will be the happiest day of your life where you are pulled in one million directions at one time. Nicole was there in the background for the majority of the night making sure everything was running smoothly. All we had to do was enjoy our friends and family!! She not only was a great wedding coordinator but I truly felt like I had a friend throughout all of the planning. She even stopped by the lobby and talked to my family for a while the weekend of the wedding! Little touches like that make the entire experience feel amazing. I also want to praise the entire staff of the Bostonian- every single person we or any of our guests encountered was above and beyond helpful. The entire first floor's staff really give the hotel a ‘boutique’ feeling which was amazing! We also loved the getting ready spaces. The men took over the honeymoon suite and my bridesmaids and I had the entire meeting room. We had a breakfast snack with coffee and waters and they provided the makeup/hair artists with real makeup chairs. Overall- we looked at a TON of places for venues in Boston proper and none of them came with the amenities, help, experience, (and not to mention price tag) that The Bostonian did! I HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding here!

She was incredibly responsive to questions and helped us with all the planning. The location is perfect, and allowed us to take really great photos on the Greenway and in Fanueil Hall prior to the wedding, all within an easy walk. The Seasons Ballroom is a beautiful glassed-in space (not your typical hotel ballroom at all, which we were thrilled to find!). The food was delicious, people were complementing us on the appetizers and dinner the whole evening. Nicole dealt with all the little details for us on the wedding day, the service staff provided wonderful service, and overall we were just thrilled with how everything came together. We would highly recommend the Bostonian to anyone else looking for a beautiful wedding venue in Boston!

king problems, our daughter did not get the bridal suite as promised and there were 3 wedding crashers. The banquet staff, however, came through and our guest experience was good, even if ours was unnecessarily stressful.

other hand, they’re not great with the couple and their family. They only do meetings during the day, so you have to take off of work to make them. The weekend-of they had issues with almost every guest reservation, including trying to get the bridal suite day-of. The suite was only available at 1:30 but our ceremony was at 2 at a church, so we ended up getting a different room. They also didn’t catch 3 wanna-be wedding crashers, our coordinators did. The most stressful thing for me was how they charged the last payment. On the morning of the wedding, they tried to charge the full amount and it was declined as fraud (seems pretty reasonable). Then they kept trying multiple different amounts, I think to try and have something go through. All of those were declined as fraud too, and my card almost got locked. I approved the original charge, told them, and then they charged yet a different amount, which also got flagged as fraud. Our contact wasn’t even at the hotel at the time, so I had no one to talk to about it. My fiancé finally took care of it at the front desk, but it shouldn’t have come to that. If you choose this venue be prepared for last-minute hiccups and consider getting your own coordinators.

oke to Rachel a few times and they are both amazing. They are both friendly, knowledgeable, and polite and that made our wedding planning experience really great. The entire event staff was great and very attentive throughout the entire night. They not only look at the big picture but also small details like making sure we had fresh napkins throughout the night so we didn't stain my dress or my husband's suit. As for the room and location, we looked at dozens of locations in Boston and this was by far the best. Guests can walk to a number of popular Boston attractions and the reception hall looks out over, in my opinion, the best part of Boston. There are several balconies off of the room as well that give amazing views of the skyline and great photos. Finally, the food and drink were amazing. It's been a week and people are still texting me on how amazing the food and drink was. It really was some of the best food I've had in a very long time! We did two signature drinks and they were a huge hit. We highly recommend this venue!

like we were the only wedding all fall. The hotel, right in the heart of Faneuil Hall, has old Boston charm while being also having a city sleek vibe. The ballroom has a fantastic view of the skyline which helps bring the room to life once the sun goes down. There were numerous options for food and drink packages and Nicole helped guide us to what would fit within our budget. The food was outstanding and we have had many guests rave about their meals. I was happy that there were so many options to chose from as we are not chicken/filet people and were able to offer our guests fresh New England seafood. If food is one of your top priorities for your wedding, as it was for us, the Bostonian will not disappoint. The staff was incredibly accommodating as we had quite a bit of decor to drop off and there were zero hiccups prepping for the big day. Nicole walked us through every step to ensure we would not have to worry about a thing the day of. The hotel uses a smaller conference room as a "bridal lounge" complete with salon style chairs and mirrors which made getting ready with the gals so enjoyable and we had so much space! There are so many great things I can say about working with Nicole and the Bostonian, it truly made our day so memorable and bring our Boston theme to life. Thanks to the Bostonian for everything, it was the best day!

with all our vendors expertly; she was at our hand and foot all day, and she made every wish we had come true. For instance, I hauled an electric piano for a ceremony performance into the space. RACHEL POTHIER organized the transportation of the instrument, she coordinated it’s location, and she even fixed an electronic issue 7 with the instrument less than ten minutes before our ceremony. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll legitimately miss her. She’s been such a relief for us throughout the planning process and we can’t possibly imagine a more skillful individual to help us plan and execute our day. RACHEL POTHIER at The Bostonian is a genius, and if you’re getting married, you’d be lucky to have her on your team.

I was specifically impressed with the staff during cocktail hour--they always sought me out and offered me the first go around of the passed apps. Which okay yes I am the bride so maybe that's expected? But I just loved their attention to detail! Nicole and her crew also made sure that my husband and I had time to have some apps, eat, and drink a little BEFORE going into the receiption. Again, small things but I can actually remember what my delicious food tasted like, rather than miss out. The staff was just so friendly and attentive. It is also very affordable for what you get. I mean, a wedding's a wedding and it's going to cost something, but with Nicole, a suite to stay in overnight, delicious food, and then venue, the price tag was just so worth it. I can't say enough about the Bostonian and I'm SO happy we had our wedding there!

Couple those pics with the amount of 5 star reviews, we scheduled our meeting with Nicole early on, and we were sold! Nicole was a rock star throughout the entire planning process and the day of our wedding. She was not only efficient in answering all of our questions in a timely manner and offering suggestions, we felt like she genuinely cared about making our wedding the one of our dreams. I will also note that the entire staff at The Bostonian were a pleasure and honestly so refreshing to work with. We brought my parents on a tour before making our final decision and went to lunch during which every single executive that was in-house that day came over to our table and introduced themselves. This venue is something truly special – both because of the people and the location. Our photos were all taken within ¼ mile of the space and are quintessential Boston…and selfishly I think are stunning (check out some of them in the photo carousel at the top of this page). The space we held our wedding in is on the fourth floor of the hotel that overlooks Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, which creates the most beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and reception. Almost 5 months after our wedding, people are still talking about how amazing our wedding was…and we know one we will never ever forget.

As every review below me will state: this price can't be beat in Boston. For everything the package includes, the Bostonian is a steal. I was very happy with the bridal lounge that we were able to get ready in (it was huge!) and the accompanying snacks and drinks. I really did love knowing that we were the only wedding that day. During the course of a year, our wedding coordinator switched hands 3 times, but there was no issue with the transition. Rachel was our day-of coordinator and was very helpful in helping move things along at a perfect pace. The day moved so smoothly - nothing felt rushed, but right on time. Our food was honestly the best wedding meal I've ever had, and the menu had so many amazing choices on it. We had such a great weekend stay at the Bostonian. Our only complaint is that it flew by so quickly!

downtown location, next to Boston's landmarks, the Bostonian was truly perfect for us. Nicole, the wedding co-ordinator was super efficient, responsive and made the process of booking and then planning as simple as possible. When we needed some vegan options, Nicole made it happen with the chef. As we got closer to the wedding day, Nicole stayed on top of things and this helped ease some of the natural stress that comes with organizing a wedding. We had a beautiful wedding and the entire Bostonian staff were truly outstanding. Everything was so well organized. Our guests loved the food and couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. Several of them commented on how beautiful the venue was, especially in the night with the downtown lights providing a pretty backdrop. I can't thank the Bostonian staff, chef and Nicole enough for helping make our wedding as glitch free and perfect as possible. We highly recommend the Bostonian!

I was a little nervous when I was notified that she was leaving and we were being transitioned to another wedding coordinator but the process could not have been smoother. I can’t even begin to say how amazing Nicole is. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and was responsive to all of my crazy questions and requests. When we dropped off all of our decorations I knew that Nicole had everything under control. The food is delicious! We got tons of compliments on how delicious our food was. The bartender did and amazing job with our signature drink that I simply gave them the ingredients for. The rooms are beautiful, clean and have amazing views. There was only 1 MINOR miss. The staff asked if we wanted to have our meals wrapped and put in our room to which we said yes. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. I didn’t say anything at the time because everything was so amazing that I didn’t want to bother with it. I know if I had though, they would have gone out of their way to fix this. The day after our wedding I was in the elevator with a couple that was viewing the venue. I absolutely gushed about how amazing everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, venue, or staff. So thankful to Nicole and everyone else at the venue for making our day unforgettable.

We worked very closely with coordinators Nicole, Rachel, and Jordan leading up to the big day and are so thankful for all that they did to ensure our day was perfect. There were a few bumps along the way, as there always are with planning a wedding, but I have to say that the Bostonian was fantastic about doing everything in their power to make things right and assure us that our day would be beautiful. The great thing about the Bostonian is that it is a smaller hotel that can only host one wedding/event per night. So the weekend of the wedding, everyone at the hotel, from the front desk to the waitstaff, knew that it was our wedding weekend. Everyone went out of their way to make the weekend wonderful and we are especially so grateful to Nicole, Rachel, Jordan, Stephen, Bruce, and Nelson. We had the best day and would recommend the Bostonian to anyone.

e Bostonian because it was closest to my office, so easy to go tour but the second I met the staff and saw the space I fell in love - not to mention how reasonably priced the packages are compared to anything else in the city. Our whole theme was downtown Boston, and this is as downtown as it gets. I was very anti-hotel ballroom, but The Bostonian's ballroom is anything but traditional, with the floor to mid-ceiling windows and balconies. Plus they included space for the after party and the brunch. The only hiccup we had was staff turnover - my hotel planner left about 3 weeks before the wedding. I was petrified at first, as we had many non-traditional elements that we had very carefully choreographed with her over the past 10 months - our ceremony was in the ballroom, we were the largest wedding they had ever done (plus had a 7 piece band), we had the cocktail hour outside in the courtyard, we had a non-traditional "cheese" cake that the staff had to put together and decorate, some very specific food allergies, and more. Steven, the sales manager, went out of his way to make my mom and I certain that the transition would be fine, and generously comped some upcharges to make up for the last minute stress. A whole team seamlessly covered for my planner's absence, and Nicole went above and beyond to understand the plan and quickly answer my questions and make me comfortable once she took over - she is the best! Our guests told us it was the best food they ever had at a wedding; it's now 2.5 months later and people are still talking about what they ate. There were never lines at the bar, the servers were outstanding, and all of our small touches were setup perfectly - they even had champagne and our leftover dinners in our room after the after-party. I highly recommend The Bostonian.

The wedding could not have gone better, which in large part was due to Nicole and the staff at the Bostonian. They were amazing and so accommodating, everything from our alternative tree ceremony that involved dirt to helping my elderly grandparents have a great stay. Everything exceeded our expectations and our hopes for the day and we will always remember our wedding and the Bostonian with warm fondness.

Nicole would always respond to emails and questions so quickly (usually within an hour or so) and was so accommodating. The staff was all so friendly and nice and so very helpful, especially since we did not use a wedding planner, they truly thought of everything. Nicole made everything easy and she helped make sure I was thinking of everything and covering all the bases. The food was delicious and the location was perfect. The venue is unique and beautiful with it really giving a Boston, city feel. The Bostonian staff truly made us feel like close friends and that they truly cared about us and the success of our wedding. On our wedding night, they even wrapped all the meals we didn't have time to eat and sent them to our room for us to eat later, it was just a very thoughtful touch. Our guests can not stop commenting on how great the space was and how good the food was. There were a couple of staffing changes during our planning period, but it all transitioned seamlessly and with no issues at all, each staff member was great, but Nicole was really amazing in the last couple of months of planning and on the wedding day. Nicole was so invested in making it was wonderful experience for us and she was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a wedding in Boston - it was such a good value and worth every penny. It is hard for me to put into words how wonderful the Bostonian and Nicole was, they were so welcoming to us from the very beginning. Thank you so much to Nicole and the Bostonian staff!

She helped us every step of the way and allowed us to enjoy the day since we were confident she would execute everything perfectly. She was responsive via phone, email and was also extremely helpful in planning and staging our wedding. She also coordinated with our vendors to ensure a smooth wedding. The Bostonian turned out to be a great choice as they were very accommodating in customizing the wedding to our needs. Not a detailed list , but they worked with us to get an Indian vegetarian entree for the guests, opened up the bridal lounge for a henna event, and provided gulab jamun (a traditional indian sweet) as an alternate desert option, gave us apriori access to the venues for custom decorations. Also of these little things and many more made our event special. In the end our guests loved the event, we loved the event and our parents loved it! From the food selection, to the planning for the "day-off", Nicole and the Hotel staff were an incredible team and beautifully executed our important day. My family, husband and I had an amazing time, so happy we chose The Bostonian.

The bridal suite was amazing, and the honeymoon suite was beautiful (both were complementary). We had incredible experiences with all the staff we encountered, and could not have been more pleased with the service and accommodation. Our guests have since remarked that the wedding venue was stunning and all the interaction they had with staff was friendly and positive. We have not received one negative comment about anything regarding the wedding. The food was delicious, the space was beautiful, and the service was wonderful. We are more than pleased with everything and are so grateful to everyone who helped make our wedding day perfect. It is also an incredible all inclusive deal for downtown Boston. The experience we received was worth way more than the price that we paid. You would be crazy not to check this wedding venue out!

picked up where the other left off without issue. We also signed our contract about 15 months in advance, so I understood. Our contract was fully met and then some - Nicole, who worked with us for the remaining 6 months and on our wedding day, was AMAZING. I work in events and have experience in working with hotels across the US. Nicole is by far one of the most responsive and detail oriented managers I've ever worked with. Any question I had or concern I raised was not only answered the same day but was answered with care and concern. For example: I had issues with the room being divided by pipe and drape during the ceremony - Nicole responded immediately and let me know that sure, pipe and drape can be ugly, but it actually really works well in this space (she even sent pictures from other weddings!) This is only one example but I can assure you, Nicole really helped to minimize any stress I had leading up to the day of the wedding. When the ballroom doors opened and I saw the room all set up for the first time, I was moved to tears. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and I knew that going in, but with the soft lighting and city lights beyond the glass windows - its truly a unique ballroom. Neutral color carpet, chivari chairs, a good sized dance floor - its the perfect backdrop for whatever vision you're looking to execute. The food is also really good - we went with steak and chicken - and we had more than one guest compliment us on the menu Last - if you're getting married on New Years Eve, like I did - book this venue. You can see the fireworks over Boston Harbor from the balconies off the ballroom. My guests were thrilled. It was a great way to cap off a truly special holiday. I know it sounds cliche and I'm sure many brides will say their wedding was the best day ever, but Nicole Stone and The Bostonian Hotel made my dreams come true and helped my family make sure it was the best party and the best day ever.

n. Our wedding coordinator Nicole helped us achieve our vision, and provided appropriate pricing for food and beverage. Nicole offered guidance for timeline, floorplans and flow. And I can't say enough about Stephen the Banquet Manager, and my all time favorite bartender, Kathy. They kept the whole night moving smoothly, and my guests were properly attended to. The hotel rooms offer a classic Boston venue with the exposed beams, and fireplaces. The honeymoon suite was lovely, and what a view of the Custom House. The reception rooms is beautiful lit up with votive candles and the background of the city. And the food did not disappoint, especially the seafood. Wedding Day: 10/28/2017

is new to the team this year but you would never know because she is an absolute PRO. From the very start of our experience, she was so friendly and on top of every detail, responding to our multiple emails within the hour, coordinating seamlessly with all of the vendors, accommodating multiple site visits with each of our parents, helping us to make multiple customizations to our meals (my husband has a nut allergy so they ensured that the entire event was nut-free even down to the liquor (Bombay has almonds) and some of our guests are kosher - they even offered to have a Rabbi come in and bless the kitchen!) On the day of the wedding she checked in with me multiple times but never made me feel rushed. Even though I finished dressing 30min late, we managed to get all of our photos done - BEAUTIFUL right in the middle of Fanueil Hall although there are parks nearby to choose from as well - but I am told that our ceremony started EXACTLY at 5pm. She checked in with us throughout the reception and was always on hand for anything that we needed. The venue itself is gorgeous. We ended up with a deal where we had the Seasons Ballroom (all glass windows with balconies and skylights that looks directly down onto Fanueil Hall and the Clock Tower) for no charge which was a steal. The cocktail hour is held in the floating hallway outside of the Ballroom. In regards to decorations - Nicole 100% knew our style and set up the entire ballroom exactly how I would have imagined it with even a few beautiful changes. I trusted her completely. The Josiah Quincy Bridal Suite looks onto the courtyard fountain where you drive in and was where we got ready for the day - including an absolute FEAST of breakfast and lunch items. (my husband got ready in his hotel room). Of note, we checked out the event room on the 1st floor for a different date and would not recommend it as its dark, no view and a retired cigar bar (and smells as such). The food is DELICIOUS. Absolutely take advantage of the tasting - there is a variety to choose from and the package is unparalleled. We looked through multiple venues in Boston and the Cape and the Bostonian was a secret steal - it looks and feels expensive but the price point is amazing. The package includes pretty much everything and there were NO SECRET FEES. They sent me the entire spreadsheet of costs beforehand. The honeymoon suite was massive and I'm pretty sure they upgraded us the night-of with an entire living room and 2 bathrooms. The hotel staff was also super helpful. On our multiple site visits we had a new front desk person show us around each time and loved all of them. Also included a private late-night lounge for post-reception and a private breakfast area in the morning which were awesome. Downsides: - The rooms are expensive ($300+) and the room-block didn't go quite smoothly (no doubles were included in our room block but they made up for it with other perks). However, a bunch of our guests stayed at other hotels or Air BnB in the area for cheaper. **Also there was a deal where if you signed up with the Bostonian you got 20% off your room. Look for these deals!! - Parking is also pricey $49/day valet only. Theres a garage across the way but, if possible, find ways to leave your car outside the city.

t of the wedding were fantastic and very attentive. As we made our way around to talk with our guests during the reception, they held our food and waited until we sat down to serve us so it was fresh. They even wrapped our dinner plates and delivered them to our suite so we could have it the next day. Getting all of our rental linens and tableware back to their respective vendors went smoothly and was easy to do. Food was awesome--definitely recommend the raw bar! We couldn't be happier and our families and guests were equally as impressed. -Cori & Mike

ur coordinator left. Not a big deal – we got a new one – Ashley. I would email her occasionally and ask her questions to ensure that things that were included in our contract where being executed (upgraded rooms, breakfast on the day of, ect). Any time I would ask her these questions she would say they weren’t included in our contract in which I would then send her the contract and direct her to the right pages. This was fine in the beginning but when we finally met with her three weeks before the wedding and she still had no idea what was in our contract – says she hasn’t even looked it over. After that meeting she emails me that same day and says that she wont be there on the day of but Nicole will be. Ok – if you knew that why didn’t we just meet with Nicole that day then? Things seem OK with Nicole. Wedding day comes… Nicole comes in when I’m getting my hair done and says “ I lost your table layout – can you do another one” Ok fine. Annoying but fine.Ceremony – All but 1 of bridesmaids are out when …. The fire alarm goes off. Yes. You read that. Moments before I am to walk down the aisle the blaring fire alarm goes off. For at least 15 minutes. We later find out it went off from someone exiting the wrong door- a piece of information which is important for a later part of this review. Our 105 guests sat there throughout the entire thing because they had no idea what to do and didn’t want to be rude and leave. And they didn’t know what to do because NOT A SINGLE MEMBER OF STAFF CAME IN TO NOTIFY THEM. Furious that this happened but ready to move and pretend it had not we are assured that they will make up for the lost time (they don’t and claim it was a natural disaster so they didn’t have too) - And remember the table arrangements that I had to redo just hours before? They all turned out wrong. Our parents table (table 1) was nowhere near us and they were stuck towards the middle/ back. Our reception ends 10 minutes after the scheduled time despite the fire fiasco taking up at least 30 with having to reset everything. When we go to ask Steve the Banquet manager why it was ending so early he said that the fire alarm going off was a Natural Disaster so they didn’t have to make up for the time. The real treat comes after the wedding. We had agreed in writing that after the open bar was over that we would put $400 to a cash bar. Once that $400 was met we would be asked whether or not we wanted to extend or to have the bar closed – we never spoken to and so we figured it hadn’t been reached. Keep in mind – this agreement was in writing. It was quite a shock when we were charged $2500 to our card – without ever receiving a bill to dispute. When we called the billing department and explained about the fire alarm cutting into the time and yada yada yada we were faced again with the notion that the fire alarm going off (despite there being NO FIRE) was a NATURAL DISASTER and that the bill was correct. We were told we would be contacted by management that day. We don’t get in contact with management until 5 days later- Mind you – this is while we are trying to enjoy our honeymoon! It wasn’t resolved for an entire week after that. These are just the big things that went wrong mind you...

during the planning stage and the day of the wedding! Our guests all had an amazing time, and it wouldn't have been possible without Ashley's help and guidance. Whether it was in the tasting where Ashley and the chef generously provided us with a large variety of delicious options to choose from, or in accommodating multiple guest requests at the final moment, or in working with the other vendors to ensure a seamless reception, we're extremely happy with all of the hard work and creativity that Ashley and The Bostonian staff put into making our wedding a success. All the staff at The Bostonian were so hospitable. We've never experienced such great service before. During the tasting, the chef introduced herself, and we had our own private waiter introducing all the dishes and wines. On the day of the wedding, the groom had forgotten his handkerchief, so the concierge ran through the streets of Boston to buy him one in time. The bridal lounge and food and the wedding night suite were extremely nice. Our wedding had 125 guests and a 5-piece band, and we fit in the space great! It was beautiful to see Boston through the windows. All of our guests raved about the food, and I heard the bartenders were great! We had 2 bartenders, and there were no lines during cocktail hour.

the day of and stayed with us through the night. The staff was so helpful and friendly. My dogs were the ring bearers and even they were spoiled by everyone at the hotel. The food was fantastic and had all of our guests raving about it. We truly had our dream wedding thanks to the hard work of the people at the hotel. I could not have asked for a more perfect venue.

some! The reception venue was just the perfect size for our 85 guests, but it could easily accommodate at least 20-30 more. The location of the hotel is really great. It's so close to the North End and Faneuil Hall and it allowed our guests to really explore the city. The rooms are very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff members really went out of their way to make everything work perfectly! This place really offers the best package, and for a really great price too!

a weekend full of events: our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, after-party, and going-away brunch. Every single staff member we came in contact with at The Bostonian was exceptional, but I can honestly say without Lindsay, our special day and the events surrounding it wouldn't have been as amazing as they were. Lindsay and the Bostonian catered to our every needed and made each idea and thought that popped into my head a reality and they did it all without hesitation. All of the feedback from our friends and loved ones has been as glowing as ours and I would recommend The Bostonian and Lindsay to anyone without hesitation.

say MANY lists of questions over the course of my year planning and she always answered them same day, or if she didn't know the answer she would get back to me the next day. We were able to customize certain packages without issue. Everyone LOVED the location and the food was delicious. Brunch the next morning was a total hit as well. Gabriel with concierge helped set up a duck tour after brunch for us. I would absolutely recommend anyone to get married here.

...everything was absolutely perfect and it was all thanks to the incredible team here! They were attentive, organized, and made our entire group feel like royalty. We had a lot of questions and special requests and Lindsey handled all of them with ease. She kept me organized and stayed on top of all the small details. I was able to spend my wedding wedding relaxed and pampered while the team at the hotel took care of everything. The wedding itself was gorgeous, I really do not think there is a more beautiful space in the entire city. You are truly surrounded by Boston everywhere you look . The food was incredible and the staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. They treated our entire wedding party like VIPs for the entire weekend. Even 2 days after the wedding, when it was finally time for me and my husband to check out, they gave us a super late check out time so we could take our time and enjoy our final day at the hotel. I cannot recommend the Bostonian enough! You will NOT be disappointed.

all amazing and we continue to receive compliments from our guests. One of the things we really liked about the Millennium is that it's a great venue for not-too-big not-too-small weddings: many of the other venues we looked at had ballrooms that were just too big for our size. The Millennium venue offers a great combination of old Boston (without being stuffy) charm and an urban, modern feel. But the best thing by far about our wedding was the SERVICE. Every staff member from the doormen to the catering team was superb. Anne and Lindsey, the wedding coordinators, went far above and beyond (and even that seems like an understatement). For any bride considering the Millennium, rest assured you will be in exceptional hands with Anne and Lindsey. We are so, so thrilled that we held our big day there.
