The Bird & The Bear Photography & Films

still staying flexible. The photos have turned out great too! Can’t say enough good things about working with him.

Bryan and his crew are it. From the beginning, Bryan provided a very reasonable package that included both photography and videography. He sent over a detailed intake form to understand our needs, highlight key moments, and ensure important guests were captured. Leading up to the wedding, I was stressed trying to coordinate makeup, rehearsal, and separate photo timelines for the bridal party and groomsmen. Bryan smartly reminded me: “starting time of photo shoot means Everyone needs to be dressed up and ready.” That small tip helped me rethink and better structure the day. On the big day, Bryan and his team showed up prepared with clear action plans. They helped separate the bridal party and groomsmen before the ceremony, ensuring everything ran smoothly. While Bryan led the creative direction, I want to give a special shoutout to Angie, who was truly the hero of the day. When my planner went MIA, Angie came to the bridal suite, introduced herself, and immediately stepped in to help. My bridesmaids and mom struggled with the tight wedding gown—but Angie jumped in and got me dressed. She even guided me and my dad to avoid being seen too early before the aisle walk (after my husband accidentally caught a glimpse of me!). Later, when none of us could figure out the bustle—even after watching videos from my tailor—Angie appeared again and did it in minutes. I honestly wanted to give half of my planner’s fee to her. She’s that amazing. The day was windy, but Bryan, Nick, and Angie captured every meaningful moment with grace. Bryan gave us gentle direction for poses, and the results were absolutely beautiful. Even better? We received a preview just 2 days later, and the full album and video were delivered in 3 weeks (despite the 5–8 week lead time). Bryan even offered to add in key moments I wanted to see—without extra charge. This team went above and beyond in every way. If you want more than a vendor, if you want a team who truly cares about your day and makes it better—book Bryan and his team. You’ll be so glad you did.

erns about being a plus-size bride and getting put in poses that were not natural for me or wouldn't look good. Bryan made me feel so comfortable as soon as we started shooting - he took all of my worries into consideration, and I felt super seen. He gave me great direction on how to pose, he changed things up when the energy was dwindling, and he gave me (much appreciated) tips like when to stand up taller or hold my bouquet a different way. I brought a mood board to our initial consultation that (admittedly) stretched a bit outside of the aesthetic i saw on Bryan's website in hopes of creating inspiration. Bryan and the team ran with this and made that inspo come to life in their own way. For those specific poses/images I wanted to capture, Bryan made it happen in a really organic, natural way. I was very clear with Bryan that we wanted to enjoy our day as much as possible and not to pull us away too much for pictures. He was SO respectful of this. At one point, the lighting during cocktail hour was PERFECT, and he literally set a 5-minute timer to capture photos - when the timer was up, he let us go. I really appreciated the balance of getting amazing (and honestly, some of my favorite pics captured that day) while still respecting our desire to enjoy our party fully. Everything was intentional. Bryan never had anyone standing around, he shot quickly and had his team gather different folks to shoot things simultaneously, so not a minute of pre-ceremony photos was wasted. I will be hiring Bryan for all my future family photos - no question!

absolute rockstars! Thank you so much Bryan and team!! Truly!!

ures were beautiful and even better than we could have imagined. He & his team are talented, knowledgeable, professional, and creative! Everyone in the wedding party loved working with them and somehow they were everywhere, but blending in at the same time—which was really important to us when choosing a photographer. Thank you, Bryan & Angie!!!

ather awkward infront of the cameras, but The Bird and the Bear made us feel so comfortable and look like pros! Lol They were super communicative during the wedding planning, timely on our wedding day, and made sure to capture all our special moments while allowing us to just be ‘us’! We will cherish all our beautiful pictures and video footage forever! We would highly recommend The Bird and the Bear!

and his team. From an operational perspective, he is incredibly timely, thorough with communication, and goes the extra mile to make sure his clients are satisfied and comfortable! He gave us sneak peaks only days after our event which I was so incredibly happy about! I don't think that fast of a turnaround is typical, especially during wedding season! His team has worked together for many years, so they have an awesome dynamic and know what it takes to get the best shots and videos. So excited so see the rest of the content!

is was by far the most important thing because pictures and videos is what lasts forever. After doing much research I came across Main Squeeze photography which was a couple that did wedding photography. I inquired however they were already booked for my wedding date. I asked if they recommended anyone with similar style. They immediately replied with Bird & The bear and told me that they had actually shot their wedding. I knew that if these photographers used The bird and the Bear for their wedding they had to be good! And they were not wrong! Bryan and his team made my husband and I feel so comfortable when taking photos we are both shy people and he made all our nerves disappear when it came to photos. We got our photos during our honeymoon and we could not have been happier. Every moment of our day was captured so beautifully. We also did a highlight film from them and WOW it brought tears to both our eyes. Reliving the moment is so precious and we have only the Bird & the Bear to thank for. Bryan is quick to reply with emails and was always so nice. If you are stressed about finding the best photographer and Videographer you have to book these guys they will not disappoint.

were looking for immediately - natural, authentic photos that capture who we are as a couple. He absolutely delivered, the photos are so beautifully captured and edited! Considering how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day, hanging out with Bryan and Angie was so fun and comfortable! They went above and beyond, with super quick return times for photos and Angie was even finding me a shady spot to sit in the heat! Such lovely people, thank you both so much!!

really appreciated that on the wedding day he captured all the best posed photos as well as amazing candids. He and his team took charge when it was needed during the family photos to keep everything on schedule, guiding us and our families without being pushy, and then really let us relax and party with our friends the entire reception, capturing moments without being in the way! I love how my photos and videos feel REAL and natural! He captured US and I can’t thank him enough!!!

st stressful of days it felt like they knew exactly what to do and how to get the best results. Can not recommend them highly enough.

sband and I feel so comfortable, like it was friends taking our pictures. Bryan kept me in the know and was always clear in his communication. I could not be happier with how our final photos came out and we have gotten nothing but positive feedback from families and friends. If considering The Bird and The Bear do yourself a favor and go ahead and secure this team!

otography style and answer our long list of questions. He responded rapidly to our countless emails before, during, and after our wedding, ensuring our expectations were exceeded in every way. Personally, as someone who doesn’t normally feel comfortable in front of a camera, Bryan helped empower me with poses and angles that flattered for my bridal portrait session on our wedding day. The results were beautiful! We will cherish our wedding photos for years to come!

ave great ideas regarding photos, and on the days where we were taking photos immediately made us feel comfortable. I also appreciated how he set up the shot and made sure that the way we were standing was flattering without it feeling staged or awkward. The icing on the cake was when Bryan sent over our wedding photos done and edited days after the event! Friends of ours said to only really expect a handful to turn out the way we wanted, but boy were they wrong! We have a huge gallery of photos that all turned out so beautiful!!! Between the editing, the lighting, and the way they captured the emotions and fun of our day. Each time I look at the photos I find a new favorite! If you're looking for a stress free day when it comes to capturing the moment/ photos for your wedding day- The Bird & The Bear is it! Worth every penny!

eet, which is something you need when your nerves and emotions are through the roof before the ceremony! I also really appreciated all of their direction/guidance throughout the day to help us pose and look our best. From making little adjustments to my hair & dress to grabbing our flower girls' attention for a smile, there was so much effort and care to ensure our pics/video were going to be perfect. Bryan's communication and flexibility were also A+ before and after the wedding. I will continue to recommend The Bird & The Bear to everyone I know :) Thank you so much!

m on our honeymoon!! We love all of the pictures and can’t wait for the video. He team is great. Look no further and hire Bryan!!

commodating to our needs and wishes. I personally don’t like my picture being taken, but Bryan and his team made it so easy and comfortable to pose and be photographed/videoed throughout the wedding. Our pictures turned out FANTASTIC. They really knocked it out of the park and made us look our best. We highly recommend Bryan and his team if you are looking for a high quality and easy experience!

n important and personal choice as they will produce pictures and videos you will look back on for years to come, and because the team is there for such intimate moments. We did an engagement photoshoot with Bryan before our wedding which was a great choice as it meant we got to meet him in advance, and in a sense practice for the "big day." On our wedding day Bryan and his team were calm, flexible, and so helpful. I decided in the moment that I wanted to do a first look with my Dad, and The Bird and The Bear team were flexible and accommodating, and now those are some of my favorite photos! During our portrait photos the team gave excellent directions and guidance. In the end, the photos The Bird & The Bear produced were breathtaking, fun, and far exceed our expectations! Also, we were SO glad we did videography with this team -- there is something so special about having footage from the day, and the video captures the emotion of the day perfectly, and brings all of the emotion back. We will cherish the photos and video from The Bird and The Bear team for decades to come!

hers but something about their style really stood out to me. Fast forward two and half years later and we were finally able to have our wedding and Bryan and his team absolutely killed it!! We had Bryan and Mercedes as our photographers and Jorge, Nick and Justin as our videographers. They were all so fun to work with and they genuinely helped make our wedding day so special. They were energetic, professional and the final product was just so so amazing. We got around 45 “sneak-peaks” the day after our wedding which was an added bonus! We are absolutely in love with all our pictures and highlight video. My husband and I normally hate taking pictures but Bryan and his team made it so easy and effortless. We HIGHLY recommend the Bird and the Bear to anyone and everyone!!! Thanks again Bryan - we are forever grateful!!!

deration with every photo. After the pandemic, I wasn't at the weight I felt beautiful or comfortable with and was SO nervous about my photo being taken, but they turned out so perfect. Caryn's direction and the poses she put me in made me look like the bride I dreamed I would look like. Every person I've shown, even those who weren't at the wedding has been blown away. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

aryn were tireless, so cheerful, and OMG the preview photos are AMAZING. They exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them for any special event. Their energy is so calm and kind and their work is outstanding.

tiful portraits is incredible. They put us at ease immediately, were great at wrangling our (gigantic) families for group photos, and captured some gorgeous intimate couple's portraits too. I'm so so so happy I could cry.

ork with and the final products exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

t of the photos and video! I highly recommend the Bear and the Bird, great professionalism, excellent communication, the team made us feel at ease all the time. One of the reasons we chose them is that they manage both photos and video.

turned out AMAZING. This team was worth every penny- highly recommend.

lly cared about making beautiful work that we will always cherish. He was warm hearted, helpful even before the wedding day and the photos and videos are of the highest quality possible! Hire them! You will have absolutely no stress about your photos or videos!

perfect energy for our wedding day, and we can’t say enough great things about how perfect this photography and videography team is.

amera and were extremely professional. The photos turned out gorgeous, I love their editing style. I 100% recommend B&B to any couple getting married in the Austin area!

e whole process and answered all of our questions along the way. On top of that, the photos and video came out so good! You WILL NOT regret working with The Bird & The Bear!!

d to change plans and dates with COVID, but TB&TB were so kind and understanding. Out of all our vendors, they were one of the best! We really wish we had been able to have them do our wedding, but are so happy with our engagement photos. We highly recommend them! K&M

ing to put my mind at ease. He even showed up early on our wedding day! Bryan captured amazing moments and lots of candids too that we will cherish for a lifetime. 10/10 would recommend

videographer package. From our initial point to contact to post-wedding communication, Bryan has been extremely professional, reliable, and so easy to work with! In fact, he and his team were able to provide us with AMAZING edited sneak-peek photos THE DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING! Our initial wedding date was postponed from April 19th to October 5th of this year due to the pandemic, and Bryan was able to accommodate our changes without any extra charges or re-negotiating our initial contract. Nick and I were anxious about our initial photoshoot but Bryan made things so organic and fluid, we had a great time with our photoshoot and the pictures turned out so much better than we would’ve imagined! We asked Bryan pretty late in the game if there was any way he’d be able to live-stream our ceremony for the family and friends who weren’t able to make it, and he was able to accommodate that without any problems. Bryan, Caryn, Jorge, and Jody were able to capture the most intimate and magical details of our special day without being intrusive at all, and for that we’re extremely grateful and we ABSOLUTELY recommend them! Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication Bryan, we’re so grateful to be able to have you and your team as a part of our big day!

ust taking great photos. We also had multiple guests tell us what a great job they were doing! We love our photos and video, and would recommend them to any couple getting married!

ith them around and it almost felt like they weren't even there. They captured all the moments we had hoped for and I am so glad I got referred to them. They are responsive to our emails and questions. I highly recommend them!!

wless. From booking, to the questionnaire where I was asked to list requests, preferences and more, and to the finished product I am so happy I chose them. We had a nighttime wedding on a gloomy day which would have been difficult for most photographers, so I am glad I made the choice to hire them as they have so much experience and our photos are beautiful. Thank you, Bryan!

be cherished forever. Thank you so much

ave the date photo as much as they did ours! Bryan and his team were efficient, prompt, professional and FUN! Compliments all around on our wedding day from family and wedding party! We received our photos and videos back much quicker than expected and would be lying if I said they didn’t bring happy tears to my eyes! The video was the most shocking for me, as I guest post-engagement shoot I had high hopes for the wedding photos (which did not at all disappoint). But the wedding video was something new and showcases our day and our love so well! I can’t say enough good things!! Book Bryan and his team for all of your wedding photo/video needs!!

ere fun, professional, and really put you at ease. Bryan is such a talented photographer but he is also just a great guy and was a joy to work with. Every single photo from our wedding is absolutely incredible. I have gotten so many comments from family and friends saying how much they love our wedding photos. Bryan also took our engagement photos and they are all stunning. I am so happy we used The Bird & The Bear for our photography and videography- it was worth every single penny and then some. They have given me so many photos and videos that I will treasure for my entire life. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THEM :) you will not regret it.

t. Bryan is an expert in this field and extremely professional, while being a fun and calming presence. From the beginning, Bryan was accommodating and willing to work with me to create a photography package that fit our unique needs and timeline (we had a Sunday brunch wedding!). My husband and I are both a bit camera shy, but Bryan made our engagement photos so much fun and he really captured our relationship and personality. That also carried through to the wedding. Bryan and his team captured every detail, every smile and every tear, while not being at all disruptive to the festivities of the day. They have perfected the balance of beautiful and posed wedding portraits with the fun, intimate and natural moments throughout the day. In addition, the turnaround time for receiving both engagement and wedding photos was incredible! My friends were commenting on how quickly we were able to receive them (and how lucky we were for that!). We have extended family overseas that was unable to attend the wedding, but seeing the photos brought them to tears and really made them feel a part of the day. I cannot recommend The Bird & The Bear enough. Thank you, Bryan!

nk you Bryan!!

r. They are awesome in their professionalism as well as their quality of work. They even store the pictures on their web-server so you could share with your friends with the pictures of your choosing. We had some outside shots shortly after the ceremony; it was winter and it was getting cold. These guys stood with us, helped us with the poses, and tried every angle to make our permanent pieces of memory looking perfect. They also have a great knowledge of the time and the location of the venue to make sure you get the best shots. We are very grateful for their hard work and dedications. We definitely recommend them to be your photographer and videographer.

so incredible. We can't wait to get the final photos. Thanks so much Brian for being part of our special day!!!
