I recently hosted my niece's quinceanera at this venue and was disappointed with the event coordination services provided by Alex. Despite working closely with her on the planning,...
Alex's unprofessional behavior and lack of attention to detail negatively impacted our experience. She made inappropriate comments in front of guests, failed to fulfill key responsibilities (such as securing the dressing rooms and following the timeline), and didn’t manage the staff properly. Her attire was casual and not appropriate for an event coordinator. However, Andrea, who assisted us earlier in the day, was exceptional, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help. The venue itself was beautiful and the perfect setting for our celebration, but unfortunately, Alex's performance overshadowed it. I suggest working with Andrea to avoid similar issues.
100/10 recommend! We had our wedding there recently and could not have asked for a more beautiful space or amazing staff. Our coordinator, Alex, is everything you didn’t know you n...
eeded!! She met with us several times leading to up to date, kept amazing communication, thought of everything we didn’t, and overall just made sure our day was absolute perfect.
I cannot recommend this space or Alex enough.
The only reason this place gets 1 star is because of how beautiful the venue is and how much it went with my theme for our wedding. As a bride I didn't feel special and neither did...
the groom. All the staff was very rude and had attitude to my guests and my husband the day of. The hospitality wasn't the very best either. They double booked our rehearsal because it meant they could get more money by scheduling an event at the same time as our rehearsal that was booked for months. Alex was nowhere to be found during the rehearsal. The only reason why our wedding and rehearsal was as amazing as it was is because our event decorator (Shawn from Illustrious Moments) decided on his own to take over for Alex at the Bay Jewel and make me feel special even though we didn't pay for those services from him. When talking with the GM there was a lot of false hope and promises. She had an excuse for every concern we brought up and voiced to her. No care or remorse towards our feelings as well. Because of all this and what I experienced as a bride I would not recommend this place to anyone because no one should be treated that way on their special day.
Horrible customer service, they communicate for the beginning and then once you have an issues dealing with health issues due to Covid. They could have help more, instead they will...
keep your money since the special day isn’t so special anymore
As I’ve said to anyone who’s asked, booking The Bay Jewel was the best decision we made when planning our wedding!! And Renee is just amazing!! We booked back in 2019 and through a...
ll of the craziness with COVID, Renee made the whole planning process easy and absolutely fun!! When I say they do EVERYTHING to make your day easy, fun, and perfect... they literally do everything!! Alex was awesome during the reception! The reception was beautiful and so much fun! They are so easy to get in contact with for any and all questions. Overall, our wedding was the best day ever and a huge reason for that was because of The Bay Jewel!! I will miss y’all! Thank you
I love The Bay Jewel! Our coordinator, and the staff, were so helpful leading up to and the day of our wedding! They were in constant communication and updated us on all of the eve...
nt news related to Covid. It was a breath of fresh air and stress-free planning a wedding during stressful times.
They help you with anything and everything, they will schedule a details meeting and go over EVERYTHING with you. Your rehearsal will be so smooth and fun with the ladies at The Bay Jewel. They even let me do my last minute Bridals at the venue because my outside photoshoot was rained out. They turned out beautiful!
Thank you Bay Jewel for everything you did for our special day, I just know everyone else who books you will also love you guys!
