About this vendor
The Barn on Hubbard is a charming venue for hosting wedding celebrations in Callicoon, NY. This historic barn is nestled within a 28-acre property in the hillsides of the Beechwoods. This countryside area boasts lush green fields, rolling hills, and expansive orchards in the western Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York. With alluring outdoor scenery, couples can connect with nature whilst celebrating their nuptials. This is the perfect destination for all kinds of events where the guest experience is of utmost importance.
The welcoming and down-to-earth atmosphere found at The Barn on Hubbard allows couples to relax surrounded by 28 acres of stunning outdoor property in this naturalistic setting. This beautifully restored 19th-century dairy barn has over 4,000 square feet of indoor space available to celebrate your wedding reception. Outside, lies a charming alcove inspired by European gardens where guests can take in the surrounding beauty while enjoying a meal. Intimate wedding ceremonies can be hosted outside the main entrance of the barn, lending a relaxed and comforting energy to your event. This rustic venue boasts its original exposed beams which can be decorated to your taste with string lights or vibrant bunting. The Barn on Hubbard was originally built in the mid-1800s by the Gabel family who had come to America from Germany. The Gabel family farmed and also had a shoemaker's shop in the barn. Today their legacy is carried on so that others can enjoy the farm on their wedding day with their loved ones.
The Barn on Hubbard is a charming space to host your wedding ceremony and reception. In order to accommodate you and your guests, the staff can also assist in the set-up of your event. Couples celebrating their wedding here will have full use of a collection of vintage props to decorate their event space. They offer bundles designed for a number of styles and budget requirements, whether you plan on celebrating a ceremony at this venue, or just the reception, or maybe even both.

ing sure everything was taken care of. One suggestion i would make, if you are having a Spring or Fall wedding to coordinate sufficient heaters. Thank you The Barn at Hubbard.
From the moment we reached out to The Barn on Hubbard, they were extremely responsive and accommodating. Their communication was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to help u...
s find the perfect vendors for our wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - clean, beautiful, and we couldn't find anything close to this quality for the price. The space ended up being beyond our dreams, and the owners are just great people who made our special day even more special. We are so grateful to The Barn on Hubbard for helping to create the wedding of our dreams!
We got married at The Barn on Hubbard in the Catskills, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking—an old rustic barn that ...
has been thoughtfully renovated, keeping all of its original charm while adding just the right modern touches. It made for the most beautiful backdrop to our day.
From the very beginning, Sarah was wonderful to work with. She was responsive, helpful, and always a great communicator, which made planning so much easier. I had always dreamed of getting married at home in the Catskills, and after visiting a number of venues in the area, The Barn on Hubbard was by far the one that felt right. It struck the perfect balance of cozy, elegant, and natural.
Our wedding day was everything we envisioned—warm, joyful, and stunning from start to finish. I truly wouldn’t have changed a thing, and I can’t recommend this venue enough to any couple looking for a Catskills wedding!!
We had our dream wedding at the barn on Hubbard. Everything was absolute perfection. They connected us with the best wedding planner and our now favorite photographer. They helped ...
with sharing various options for other vendors and were very accommodating to our needs and questions. Everything about the day was easy and perfect!
We’ve had the pleasure of hosting several artisan markets at The Barn on Hubbard. This historic barn sits on a stunning property with sweeping views of rolling green trees, dairy f...
arms, and unforgettable sunsets. Sara is a joy to work with, and we always recommend this venue to others.
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding at The Barn on Hubbard. It is a beautiful venue that gave us the perfect indoor/outdoor experience we wanted. It is located in a small town...
but there were endless vendor options. The Barn has charming rustic bones as a backdrop for any decor. There are different options for the ceremony on site, and it was easy to have a back up plan incase the weather wasn’t on our side. The silo cocktail bar and lantern lit patios were a hit! There are acres of intimate and formal photo opportunities- especially the sunset views over the field. If you’re looking for a completely customizable, indoor/outdoor, rustic but chic barn experience, I highly recommend The Barn on Hubbard for your wedding venue!
Just spent the weekend at The Barn on Hubbard for a family reunion. The atmosphere is relaxing and the perfect spot for multi generations. Although this was not a wedding, I can ...
picture the long wood tables with flowers and candles to create a romantic atmosphere. The view through the barn doors would be a perfect backdrop for the ceremony. For us, it was relaxing, entertaining and will do this again.
Sara hosted our family reunion this year. The barn is beautiful and there was plenty of space for the children to enjoy playing outside and inside. This location has such special t...
ouches that made our get together amazing! We look forward to having more events here in the future. Thank you Sara!

party here and cannot wait for our next event. Sara and her team help make your day perfect.
The Barn on Hubbard was host to our wedding this past October, and there aren't enough words to praise this spectacular venue! It is a gorgeously rustic blank canvas that lets you ...
build every detail of your perfect wedding day from the ground up. It's affordable, amazingly well-maintained, and Sara, the owner, is truly the best; the way she accommodated our requests and answered our questions made her feel more like a partner in planning than the owner of our venue. The bar built into the old barn silo and the open lawn nestled in the center of the cornfield are just two of the details that make this place one of a kind. 10/10 would recommend, the barn will be in our hearts forever!!
The barn on hubbard is a beautiful wedding venue with tons of opportunities for gorgeous photos. Sara the barn owner was easy to work with and communicated/responded quickly to my ...
questions. The venue doesn't have AC or heating but they did provide a bunch of fans to help keep the air circulating and cool. It does have 2 bathrooms, a bar in the silo, and a catering kitchen prep area. You can choose all your own vendors which is really nice, although she did provide a list of suggested/recommended vendors in the area. The only downside is the venue doesn’t come with much for the price…you have to rent all tables/chairs/glassware/flatware/linens etc. which ended up costing a lot more than I was anticipating as there isn't a rental company in the area so you end up paying a lot to have things delivered. The barn does come with some decor items like a wooden arbor, wine barrels, chandeliers, lanterns, and things like that. There is also tons of electrical outlets throughout the whole barn for plugging in lights and DJ equipment.
Sara's venue was GORGEOUS and the perfect setting for a great laid back party. It was a beautiful canvas, and Sara was so generous and flexible with all our ideas. She gave great...
vendor recommendations for the area and we couldn't have asked for anything more.
