To our plesent surprise, the cupcakes are over 3" in diameter, they are perfect size for your guests, especially if a couple whants to split different flvors.
Unfortunatly the Alcott closed during covid, so I called Amamda to inform her we still wanted to use them and to get a price. We were very happy which the pricing and that they would bring everything to our new location and set it up on our wedding day.
We eneded up changing the dates and locations multipul times until finally we were able to book a place this past June. Amanda was very understanding and accommodating through the entire process. The cupcakes were very fresh and remained fresh for a few days when we ate them for breakfast since we didn't eat any on our wedding night.

Oh my goodness before I even begin my wedding cake review- order your pumpkin pies here. The best we've ever had! We were so lucky to get to work with The Bake Works- our cake was ...
exactly what I wanted - loved the lemon, the icing was to die for and the cake was delicious. My husband is not a big cake fan so I worked with the girls at The Bake Works to have a surprise Pumpkin Pie come out when we were cutting the cake and this man, knows his pumpkin pie- he still can't stop talking about how great it was. We also let our little girl try this pumpkin pie as the first pie she's tried, and she LOVED it. Thank you so much!
The Bake Works was AMAZING.
My venue typically partners with The Bake Works for our cake so I wasn't sure what to expect.

ur samples: full sized cupcakes with frosting all labeled so you could take home and decide for yourself.
We practically licked the containers clean they were SO GOOD.
I knew I didn't want a cake for our rehearsal dinner and figured I'd reach out to The Bake Works again since the samples were so good. We opted for apple cider donuts and pumpkin/cream cheese cupcakes. When I tell you multiple people came up to me and my husband telling us that the cupcakes were the best they've ever had I promise you I'm not lying. I can vouch- they were the best cupcake I've ever had. And the cider donuts- JUST AS PHENOMENAL.
Of course we ordered our wedding cake from them as well. Also PHENOMENAL- again, tons of compliments on how delicious it was. We had funfetti with raspberry cream filling and oh my goodness- SO good.
The entire experience was smooth and professional, and of course everything was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend The Bake Works enough!!!

pick up a couple days before. The kit included 8 massive cupcakes with different variety of flavors (standard and premium) as well as samples of designs they had done for weddings. We just emailed them the flavor and design we wanted and added our own cake topper and faux flowers/greenery. We chose the almond cake with vanilla pastry cream. The cake was nut-free for those with nut allergies to enjoy too. We had a lot of guests give us compliments on the cake.
Our cake was delicious!!!

get the full experience. According to the mothers, the labels for the icings were also misleading; I was not there so I'm not sure on that. HOWEVER, the cake on the wedding day was light and fluffy and delicious! We went very simple, design wise, with both chocolate and vanilla cake and it was delicious! Based on my experience with Amanda and how the cake turned out on my wedding day, they are a solid option.
Absolutely amazing! Amanda was great to work with and everyone raved about the cake and our other mini desserts. Definitely recommend The Bake Works!
Amanda and her team were amazing and made the most beautiful cake for us! People are still talking about how good the cake was. Can't recommend them enough!

e was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. And don’t get me started on the cupcakes - oh my god. They were phenomenal! The flavors were out of this world. And the presentation for both the cake & cupcakes were perfection. Amanda was responsive & in contact with us every step of the way. The entire process with Bake Works was seamless. We are looking forward to our one year anniversary so we can eat our cake! But, we will probably make a trip down to get some cupcakes, because they are just that good. Highly highly recommend Bake Works for your wedding day! You will not be disappointed.

s are phenomenal. My husband does not like cake, at least he didn't, until he tried their lemon cake with the blueberry buttercream filling! So delicious! Also even with covid they made the cake tasting fun! they had us come in and explained some things about the cake and the process and sent us home with a big box of samples. It actually added some fun to the experience to be able to share the samples with some of our family! We definitely recommend Bake Works for your wedding cake!
Amanda and the team at The Bake Works gave us a truly magnificent wedding cake. Guests and staff came up to us numerous times to tell us how beautiful the cake was, and we received...
even more compliments after our guests tasted it! We were able to select two different flavors for the cake--black and white (with vanilla buttercream) and almond cake (with vanilla pastry cream) and it was fun to hear which option are guests were selecting... though I think my husband's choice (the almond cake) won in the end! The wedding cake was perhaps even more important to me than the dress, and I could not have been happier with the final result. The Bake Works even crafted a lovely birthday cake for my aunt (as it was also her birthday!), covered in buttercream rosettes. Both cakes exceeded our expectations, and the cake cutting/birthday surprise was easily one of the highlights of the night!
Our cake was perfect and delicious!

ting to bring home, and everything was delicious. They were so accommodating and we were able to pick any combination of cake and filling and could even do multiple. I had a vision of combining two cakes they ad online, and they matched it perfectly. My cake was absolutely beautiful. It was 3 tiers of light blue with white in the middle and accents of sand and shells. We chose red velvet for 2 tiers and a delicious chocolate chip with cannoli filling for the middle. I would absolutely go back for anything.

My husband and I never planned to get a wedding cake, but we found out that our venue had a relationship with The Bake Works and that it would be included. BOY ARE WE GLAD IT WAS! ...
They absolutely exceeded all of our expectations of what a wedding cake could be. We opted for the "spice cake" flavor — an upgrade that was well worth it. We had a number of dessert options for our guests, but all anyone could rave about was the cake. As for the design, they followed our instructions to a T. It was elegant and absolutely delicious. I'll never underestimate wedding cake again, now that I know how fantastic it can be.

ox with samples of about 8 or so variety of cakes. It was really fun to try different combos of cakes we typically would not have. We did end up sticking with a classic vanilla vanilla cake. IT was delicious and many of our guests enjoyed it ! Our florist did fresh flowers for it too which was stunning. Highly recommend this for our wedding cake needs (:
Amanda was amazing to work with and answered all of my emails and was super helpful since I was so unsure on what to order. We decided to go with the cake that came with the venue....
Basic chocolate and vanilla but there was nothing basic about them they tasted great! We ordered extra dessert trays, a cookie tray, and the best decision I made ever the DONUT WALL. Everyone said the cake was so good and I unfortunately never got a piece of it! I used the donut wall as part of our favors and they were a huge hit. I was able to grab a donut for me and my new husband to eat in the morning when we woke up and they were so good. I highly recommend using Bake Works!
