Tim from Agency Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception in one location: our wedding ceremony took place outside and the reception was inside, w...
ith a cocktail hour in between on a patio (outside, different location than the ceremony).
Tim handled the music for all of it. He had everything set up so the transition between each was flawless. I had two friends serve as "MC"s for the reception, and he had microphones to accommodate them.
Tim and I had a call and discussed the general type of music I wanted for the cocktail, the songs for the important events (processional, recessional, introductions, cake-cutting, etc.), and then I gave him a list of songs I wanted for the reception, just as an example of the types of songs we were thinking of. My guests (all ages) had a blast!
Where do I even begin...
Michael stayed in touch and was kind during the planning and after the try and fix my disappointment but the day of was a disaster. I had changed the song...
I wanted to walk down the isle to and the DJ "forgot" so I didn't even know to walk down the isle until half way through the song. The officiant's microphone kept messing up and making the loud screech. My song to walk back down the isle... NEVER PLAYED. WTF. I asked for radio edits and so the DJ played "In da club" by 50 cent. Look it up.. even edited my aunt left. He played all the line dance songs in a row. The DJ was clueless to his crowd. I had to ask to play mellow music during dinner. The music kept cutting in and out all night. The karaoke that I paid 100$ extra for was cutting in and out. I was so embarrassed. SO embarrassed. The music sets the mood for the whole reception and it was ruined.
On our wedding day we ended up being an hour ahead of schedule and our DJ, Sam, did a great job of getting everything set up early so he could entertain our guests earlier than sch...
eduled. I loved the great communication with the owner Michael and he made sure everything was set for the day and was flexible with last minute changes. He was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I gave them a 4 star rating due to problems we encountered with our DJ's expectations but Michael did a great job addressing our concerns quickly afterwards.
5 stars for our DJ! Tom was so friendly and easy to work with! He did a fabulous job at getting the party going and filling up the dance floor! Our guests loved him!
Michael was awesome! He was professional and maintained the flow of the reception. The music was perfect for our wide age range of guests. He helped to keep the dance floor full th...
roughout the evening. He's friendly and great to work with! Highly recommended!
Agency entertainment was great. Michael Crisp was very nice & super helpful. He was always available to answer any & all of my questions. The dj he sent was very nice & professiona...
l, he was a lot of fun.
Michael was a really nice person and was willing to meet multiple times before the wedding which we really appreciated. The music was great and people had a fun time dancing all ni...
ght. He even played past his contracted time. My only critique was that he announced me and my husband into our reception with my maiden name not my husband's last name. Since he had met with us multiple times before he should have known my husband's last name, I thought it was funny but my husband did not. There was also confusion about the rest of the wedding party's names which was a little frustrating. Altogether a fun time though.
The Dj we used was great and kept the dance floor going all night
We used Agency Entertainment for our DJ service - we were placed with their DJ Randall Trent, he did an excellent job, played several songs I requested, plus mixed in other fun son...
gs for the reception! No complaints from this bride - they did a great job!
Great Price. Great Music. Great DJ.
Music was kind of one of the last things on my list, and Agency Entertainment fit the bill perfectly! Our DJ was AWESOME!! They fit our budget also!
I disliked the way the DJ announced the events of the night and he also didn't play a good mix of songs throughout the night.
I was impressed by the DJ. Joe Monroe DJ'd at a friend's wedding and I liked him so much I asked for him to do mine! He is very professional and helped get the party started!! I go...
t so many compliments on him! There was never a dull moment! He brought lighting and the premium sound system and it was amazing! He even stayed late to accomodate the people that kept dancing until the lights came on!!
The DJ we had played songs that were not on our list and did not come with the standard lighting package we were to have that was stipulated in our contract. He was friendly and on...
ce we reminded him about our song list, he stuck to it.
My mom and stepdad used Agency as their DJ when they got married back in 2006, and they were amazing. I looked around and priced out other options, but Agency was very resonable an...
d WELL worth it!! They focus on what YOU want and our DJ was so outgoing and kept the party hoppin all night! I would highly recommend them to anyone, they do a great job!
I highly recommend Agency Entertainment. Our wedding was held on Sept 25 and Joe Monroe was our DJ. He was AMAZING!! He was scheduled to be there between 6-11. He arrived 2 hou...
rs early to make sure he had everything set up before our guests arrived. AND he brought his wife with him. We had an outdoor ceremony and tent reception. We used his sound system for our ceremony and everything went so smoothly. Not one time did the microphones malfunction. He was professional and played all the best music and included every song we requested. I couldn't have asked for a more professional DJ!! They were GREAT!!
We absolutely loved every song that was played throughout the night. Agency Entertainment helped us out at the very last minute, they were so helpful and affordable, and our recept...
ion was an absolute blast. Our dj even made a list of all the songs he played and gave me copies of the cds with every song he played at the end of the night, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
My fiance and I has originally planned for another DJ to come to take care of our reception. In the end, the other DJ backed out and Agency Entertainment came to the rescue. From t...
he beginning of the email communication to the day of wedding, I was very pleased with the service I was given. It really made my life a lot easier.
Great pricing for the great service as well.
Steve Harmon from Agency Entertainment was amazing. He listened to all of our requests and really knew how to keep the night going. I don't think there was ever a time where some...
one wasn't on the dance floor, it was amazing and so much fun. Michael Crisp is the owner and he is also super at matching the couple up with the DJ that fits what they want for their night. Give them a call.
We had requested specific songs for events (cake cutting bouquet toss dances etc) and he played them perfectly. We had also requested specific songs for the dancing and that ...
too was done.;I wouldn't 'warn' anyone of our DJ...he was great. Only thing was that we requested a little bit of personality and I don't think he interacted with the guests at all.
;OUr DJ did not pay any attention to the environment he was is and was the sole disappointment of our wedding day. He played many songs that were on our 'do not play' list. He di...
d not make announcements that we asked him to make. He pulled me away from my guests to ask for a check (like I had one in my wedding dress!). And, the kicker, we danced our dance, then we asked for 'Unforgettable' to be played - the dance floor filled to capacity with couples dancing - it was magical. When that was over, I expected that he would play another slow song as so many were truly enjoying dancing - did he? NO! He play a rock & roll song, and I have never seen the dance floor empty so quickly. Never again did he play the solw music that we wanted (and asked for!!!). If it was possible for a DJ to ruin a wedding, he would be the one to do it.
