THE BEST WEDDING. Our little rustic chic barn wedding couldn't have been more perfect. Erin and her team are amazing. The facilities are amazing and make for gorgeous pictures.

e went above and beyond what a typical venue I would, and was such a huge help coordinating the timeline of events (amongst other things). Oh, and venue is gorgeous (lots of compliments from the guests)!
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary at the Texas Rockhouse on August 5, 2023. This venue is amazing! Let me begin by stating that when we first met Erin Abel to tour the venue, sh...
e explained everything in detail and was very professional and respectful. We decided this was where we wanted to celebrate our special day. Erin was always available to meet with us in person, by phone or email. She would always say “we can always make changes, just let me know.” She made suggestions that made it easier on us. Our big day came and it was amazing, beautiful and just wonderful. The venue is rustic and our guests commented how very nice the place is! We had our vow renewal outside and it looked incredible with the rustic benches. We had dinner in Ranch building and then dancing and rest of reception in Barn. Everyone loved the venue. Although outside, it was probably 105 degrees during day, Erin made sure the both buildings were cool. No one complained, there was just pure enjoyment! That day, Erin and her staff worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. Bartender, Zach, and Clint and Morgan provided the very best services. They were helpful, professional and respectful throughout. Also staff that were there earlier in day to set up were professional.
This is place to have your special event! Staff and venue awesome!
Totally invested owner, Erin Able was incredibly helpful. We were all treated like family. Beautiful outdoor venue with rustic barn was transformed into a magical wedding setting!...

ational skills and is the sweetest lady ever! She has a list of preferred vendors which makes decision making so much easier! She offers an option of vendors she knows, trusts and values from styling, cake, bouquet, catering, DJ and photography. In choosing them our wedding was so easily arranged that I arrived at TRH with my wedding dress in hand and the rest just happened!!
The staff are wonderful and Erin makes sure every detail is co-ordinated and attended to.
The gardens, yard with cows and an old truck, & overall setting makes for the most beautiful photography.
We can’t rate Erin & TRH highly enough. If you are looking for ease, rustic elegance and a friend to walk you through wedding preparations this is your place!
TRH really rocks!
First of all Erin is amazing. She helped me plan my wedding in less than 3 weeks. The venue is beautiful, just what my husband and I wanted.

a small intimate wedding! Erin was very communicative from the get go! She was very helpful leading up to the day, making sure we had the best day ever! On the day, Erin and her staff were amazing! Erin made sure everyone knew what they were doing. There were some changes to the original plans that were discussed when I met with Erin prior but she went along with those changes and had no problem with it! It really was an amazing day! Erin constantly made sure that my husband and I were doing okay, asking about drinks and food, taking pictures, giving tips to the photographer for the picture spots on the property. She helped throw the plates away from the guests. Erin and her staff even had to deal with a little mess from my nephew but it was all okay, the party continued! My family loved this place and everything it had to offer! It worked for us and was perfect for us! I couldn’t have found a better place! I definitely recommend TRH, we had a tremendous experience! If I plan on having another event, this is where I want it!

in! She helps with so many small details that you never would think of, and it makes all the difference in the world. She is ten steps ahead and sometimes almost seems like she can read your mind, she will see your vision through! I’m not sure how she did so much on the day of- but she did. She was there keeping everyone on schedule, making sure the bride and groom had drinks and food, taking pics, giving great ideas to the photographer, and I could go on.
I’m so glad we chose her and TRH to get married at, it couldn’t have been more perfect. I really can’t say anything but positive thing about her and if we ever have another big party, that is where I want to have it!

, all of these things made for the PERFECT day!! The staff did amazing setting up & breaking down, Erin helped keep the flow of the night on track & smooth, I just couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. The Bridal space to get ready was perfect lighting for hair & makeup, & plenty of room for the girls & I along with cute decor that was great for photo ops. The groom space was a great hangout spot for the men to relax in & play games while waiting on us lol. Thank you again to Erin & her AMAZING team. If you're in need of a venue, this is it!!

. I was crushed! Erin and Michelle allowed my husband and I to have a small ceremony so we didn't have to wait to be husband and wife. Erin even officiated our ceremony because we couldn't find anyone to marry us. Rewind to Feb. 27, 2022. My husband and I decided we wanted to renew our vows since we didn't get our wedding. Erin and Michelle were so compassionate and understanding and allowed us to reserve that Sunday the 27th to renew our vows in front of all of our friends and family! They made the day amazing and even dealt with my bossy sister pretty well!! Erin officiated once again and had everyone crying with her beautiful words. Erin and Michelle made my wedding dreams come true and I will never forget them!!! Thank you both and pass me some sauuusaaggeee, Michelle!!!

erything; contacting vendors, updating me along the way, and keeping up with timelines on the day of. I could truly not have asked for anything more. Erin let us get married at her venue on her birthday this year, and she was still there that morning setting up! Not only does the team go above and beyond, but the venue itself is absolutely magical. Thank you guys so much!

e, but also allowed us to have a small wedding this year with parents only in attendance because after 7 years together we wanted to just do the thing. When she showed up the day of our small wedding, she noticed we had not bothered with any decorations. She magically decorated for us just moments before the wedding, creating a beautiful surprise for when I walked down the aisle. She even helped take pictures (we didn't even ask her to!) since we didn't hire a photographer. She made our day so special and perfect. I can't wait to work with her again when we can celebrate with all our loved ones next year. The PERFECT place to get married with a large group or a small one!
This place has it all! Charm, romance, coziness and so much more! The whole process was a breeze and we got so many compliments on the venue!!

o create a beautiful, stress free day--from planning the perfect layout, to coordinating with our vendors, and just making sure that we got to enjoy our day! Erin and her staff were a huge help. You get everything you need here in a delightful setting--a space for the bride and groom to get ready, early morning access to the venue for setup, an outdoor ceremony space, and an open air barn space for the reception (with fans or heaters, as needed). The property is obviously lovely--the quaint and unique rock house with sprawling trees. (And you have the option to stay at the house-we did and loved it!) But it truly comes alive at night-- the lights on the property create a perfectly whimsical setting for any occasion, but especially for a wedding. Our experience with Texas Rock House was nothing but positive and I would recommend them to anyone! Our guests have continued to comment on the gorgeous venue and some are even recommending it to their friends.
My sister & husband renewed their vows. I was so impressed, I called the venue and thanked them for having had the most memorable event at their place.

commenting just how perfect this venue was! We had always seen gatherings taking place but never had actually experienced the atmosphere. The home's decor is so warm, inviting once you walk in you feel at home. Everything you could need is made available. The landscaping is perfect, the barn set up is just as comfortable, everything seemed so personal.
When I celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary, hands down this is where I am bringing family & friends to experience a little Heaven on Earth.
I haven't stopped sharing the experience of this wonderful place. Thank you Ms. Erin
Absolutely Beautiful Facility

d family to feel comfortable and have a great time. From the barn style reception hall, the sun setting over the pasture, the beautifully manicured lawn, the quaint farm house and fantastic staff; I couldn't be more pleased with our big day! I am thinking of hosting a tea party style shower here in the spring! This will be a sweet spot in our memories. Thanks Texas Rock House!
I recently attended a wedding at the Texas Rock House. It was beautiful and vintage and special and absolutely perfect.
The ceremony was held outside with the stunning field and s...
etting sun in the background. Although simple it was stunning beyond words.
The reception was held outside and in the barn. Again, it was absolutely stunning. Dancing on the deck under the stars was very romantic.
The guest house was the perfect place for the bridesmaids to stay the night before and get ready the day of the wedding.
The location of the Texas Rock House was perfect as well. The bride and groom knew people from Dallas, Austin and San Antonio that would be attending. This was a great location for everyone-3 hours from Dallas, 1 hour from SA and Austin. There were also several hotels near the venue for guests and many things to do and places to eat in the San Marcos area.
If you are looking for a rustic, vintage, country, elegant, simple, custom, extravagant, dazzling, adorable location for your event, this is the place.
