Terry Kaye Events

the entire planning process feel effortless. She was always available for calls and emails, no matter how many questions we had — and there were a lot! Every detail was handled with care and professionalism. She kept us perfectly on track with timelines, checklists, and reminders, which made the months leading up to our wedding completely stress-free. One of the things we appreciated most was Terry’s expert advice and eye for detail when it came to setting up the space. She thought through every element — from food stations and bar placement to musician setup and guest flow — making sure everything worked together seamlessly. The result was a layout that looked beautiful and functioned perfectly for our guests. Thanks to Terry, our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it. We even had some challenges with our caterer, but we had no idea until after the wedding because Terry picked up the slack and took care of it. She truly went above and beyond in making sure that she was able to cover where they fell short. We can’t recommend Terry Kaye enough! If you’re looking for a planner who is organized, creative, communicative, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect, she is the one. Terry was not only our impressive wedding planner, but I now call her a friend.

ed, supported, and back on track. Her warm and kind personality put us at ease, yet she knew exactly when to be assertive with vendors and family to keep everything running smoothly and keep the timeline on track. Her communication style was consistently clear, calm, and reassuring, which helped us feel grounded throughout the entire process. Everyone felt relaxed after meeting her and knew we were in capable hands. Her support allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day at Stone Tower Winery in August and focus on making unforgettable memories as newlyweds. She was always responsive to questions (big or small) and her attention to detail was impeccable. On the wedding day, her team was top-notch, ensuring that everything flowed seamlessly so we could truly enjoy every moment. As a bride, I enjoyed the resources and prep tools she provided and advice on how to streamline all aspects of our event. She empowered us to make decisions that felt like “us”, while providing enough input to build our confidence to execute the vision. We are so grateful for Terry and her team for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a joyful, smooth, and beautifully organized experience. It is always an honor to work with someone who is truly an expert in their field.

dibly organized, calm, and thorough, which immediately made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the planning process. She helped us seamlessly navigate working with our other vendors, offered thoughtful design ideas, and made sure every detail was handled with care. Her communication was always timely and responsive and she would spend time with us over Zoom or over the phone walking through the timeline and other important items. Ultimately, she truly became our biggest supporter from start to finish. On the wedding day itself, Nicole’s presence was invaluable. She kept everything running smoothly and stress-free, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calming energy made all the difference, and we are endlessly grateful to her and the entire TKE team. If you’re looking for a planner who is not only incredibly skilled and organized but also genuinely cares about you and your vision, I cannot recommend Terry Kaye Events enough. ator, and leader. I was a DIY bride and she (and Sophia) helped me put to life all of my visions and ideas. Everything at my wedding was on point and on schedule (thank you, Kelsey!!!). Our venue was a little difficult to work with but Kelsey took that burden off of my shoulder. She gave me the security and confidence whenever I feel anxious and unsure. I could have not asked for a better coordinator. We were very lucky to have Kelsey coordinate our wedding. BONUS: She was a content creator too! Loved seeing the videos and pictures she got on our special night! Thank you Kelsey, Sophia, and Terry!!!

wanted. TKE was so patient and helped build my vision step by and step and helped me pick the right vendors to make it all come together. My husband and our families were sooo grateful for TKE on our wedding day. Terry and Delilah made us all feel so calm and went above and beyond to make it the best day. TKE is intentional and fun and just sooo wonderful to work with. Terry and her team are truly amazing at what they do!!

service to all of her clients. She fosters a high level of trust and collaboration, making her incredibly easy to work with both for clients and other vendors. I highly, highly recommend her for any event!!! - La Vie En Rose (lverphoto.com)

o emails and phone calls. We had a 28 page outline for the wedding day and it was fabulous. She was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you Kelsey!

edding planning. She was so organized and got me on track for the remaining wedding planning tasks. Kelsey’s timeline for our wedding day was extremely detailed and was very helpful for me to refer to the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. I know it was helpful for all of our vendors, too! Our wedding day ran smoothly thanks to Kelsey. She was especially a huge help when it came to making day of decisions, such as whether to move the ceremony indoors because of the weather. Kelsey was a calming presence throughout the day as well as during the planning process. Thank you Kelsey and TKE!

dreamed up and more! Working with Rick and his team was a dream such fast communication and did everything to make my dreams come true! Highly highly highly recommend!

attention to detail, expertise, and genuine concern for our vision made all the difference. Kelsey went above and beyond every step of the way. From coordinating with vendors on last-minute items to ensuring every last decoration was perfectly in place, she flawlessly executed every detail. Her calm demeanor and reassuring presence kept us at ease throughout the entire day, allowing us to fully enjoy our wedding without worrying about anything. Thank you, Kelsey, for making our wedding day the most magical and memorable day of our lives.

planner for us. Wow - were we impressed and so happy with our choice! Our experience with her was beyond expectations! Not only did she bring thoughtful, collaborative advice from her years of wedding experience to help refine the vision we had for our wedding (we had lots of ideas), but she brought much support and discipline to the overall process of finding / soliciting / contracting / managing the dozen or so vendors that we engaged that made this wedding the success that it was. She is a delight to work with and brings an aesthetic that was much appreciated in designing the look and feel of the wedding and reception. Of course, the actual wedding day was when we appreciated her the most. So much going on, yet she was on top of everything, the wedding, the reception - - it all went perfectly! Thank you, Terry for all of your help over the past year - we couldn't have done it without you!

municate, professional, quick on her feet, and attentive to details. I truly cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Kelsey!

r planners in her craft. Our daughter's wedding was everything that she and her groom wanted, because of Terry's great advice and expert planning. Her timeline for the wedding day was so detailed. Her guidance and coordination during the wedding day was top knotch. She is very easy and fun to talk with, very responsive throughout the planning process, very flexible, and so very professional. Hire her immediately!

ient, responsive, and in the know with the most current wedding trends. Terry Kaye is not only an amazing talented professional, she’s also such a cool person. She made the whole process of planning my wedding fun and stress free. From every vendor she recommended to every small detail, everything was so amazing. Terry Kaye took my wedding vision and elevated it to be the most beautiful and perfect day, and I cannot thank her enough for that!

being a true liaison between me and my vendors. Our planner - Hannah, certainly did this but went above and beyond for us. She was a true friend in this process, helped me make decor decisions, made recommendations based on her experiences, and even stored rose petals personally for me so that they could stay refrigerated. On the day of my wedding I was completely stress-free and knew everything would be taken care of by Hannah and her team, and it was. They brought my vision to life and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The night went smooth and Hannah and her team packed everything up for us so that my husband and I could truly enjoy our wedding night. You will not regret booking Terry Kaye Events and I would personally request Hannah!!!

usted her more than I trusted myself in making decisions for our day. It was more than we could have ever asked for. I am actually sad that I don't get to keep working with her since the wedding is over!!

their hard work and support!

rdinator, I knew we were in great hands. Kelsey is so sweet, helpful, and on top of every detail that I didn’t even know I needed to think about! She coordinated with all our vendors leading up to our wedding and I’m positive our day wouldn’t have been what it turned out to be without her and Abby. I can’t put into words how thankful we are to have had them around. We had multiple people come up and say it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to and we definitely couldn’t have done it without them! They are truly professionals at what they do and our day went off without a hitch. Everyone kept saying the week before how NOT stressed I seemed and it was 99% because I trusted all our vendors (but especially TKE). I can’t thank you all enough for your work making it truly the best day of our lives.

of the park every single step of the way. From the moment I first met Terry, we hit it off. Not only is she wonderful at her job but she is an amazing person, which is so so important. She gives great advice, is always there to listen to you and seems to always know how to get you in the right direction. I am someone who gets overwhelmed when there are unlimited options and decisions to be made but Terry made it all easy. She caught my overall vibe so quickly and knew exactly what I would like and wouldn’t like. She has so many resources and lists that help keep you organized and on track. She is a mind reader and has amazing taste! I truly cannot thank her enough for helping me plan the wedding of my dreams. THEN THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!!!!! I did not have one worry the entire day. Like AT ALL. Every single team member I walked up to on my wedding day, knew exactly what was going on, where my stuff was (this is huge because I lose everything), what needed to happen next, etc etc. I actually had some down time on my wedding day - which I feel like is unheard of!!! I got to sit and hang out with my bridesmaids and have FUN before walking down the aisle because Terry and her team kept everything on time and had everything moving behind the scenes flawlessly. All my guests have RAVED about Terry and her team. It just goes to show what a fantastic, flawless and professional job they did. In the end, words can hardly do justice to the gratitude and awe I feel for Terry and her exceptional team. From the moment we met to the magical day of our wedding, they were there, guiding us with their expertise, unflinching support, and flawless execution. I can honestly say that my wedding day was everything I had ever dreamed of, and more, thanks to Terry's unwavering commitment to making it perfect. If you're searching for a wedding planner who not only excels in their profession but also genuinely cares about making your dreams come true, look no further than Terry. She is an extraordinary person and an unparalleled wedding planner. Terry, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating the most memorable day of our lives. You and your team are simply the best.

elsey was incredibly responsive and helpful in every aspect of the planning phase, as we expected, but what was even more impressive was her actions on wedding day. Throughout the day she was amazingly in tune and present for any little adjustment, or change, or request. She was everywhere all at once, and made it seem like she would do anything for us to have a smooth and enjoyable day. She checked in on us, was flexible, showed the perfect amount of poise and leadership, and all while being the most kind and positive coordinator. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience with Kelsey and her team at Terry Kaye Events. SIX STARS!

d have made. Terry and Kelsey are extremely kind, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. Thanks to Kelsey, I felt way less nervous during the wedding planning process since I knew she had my back. The day of, she made sure every single detail ran smoothly so that I could focus on being present, and everything was as I dreamt it! Thank you Kelsey and TKE!!

ibly helpful throughout our planning process and on the wedding day! This was particularly true due to me being located across the country for most of the planning process. Terry and Hannah were very responsive, professional, and talented in planning and design. As an indecisive bride, I appreciated that they listened to my main design goals and took initiative on decisions when I asked them to (or needed them to!). It was also a huge weight off of my shoulders knowing that they had trusted vendors whom they could recommend for various needs (e.g., calligraphy, catering, photo booth, cake, etc.). Hannah was our MVP in the months leading up the wedding and on the wedding day, and she absolutely crushed it. It was easy to feel relaxed and enjoy the moment of our wedding day knowing that she was in charge of the details. I can't recommend Hannah or TKE enough!

able to talk me through things at any point of the day. Can't thank her enough!

ner: experienced, knowledgeable, dependable, detail-oriented, positive, supportive, accessible, communicative, relatable, thoughtful, understanding, and most importantly, kind. She will get to know you, your partner and your vision and uniquely bring it to life in a way that seems effortless (though it is truly not). Throughout the planning process, she is communicative and open, expertly knowing when it is time to let you make your own decisions and when to offer her input. She is a true professional and has many strong relationships across the industry that help in hiring your vendor team and in orchestrating a seamless event. It is hard to describe the sense of ease and comfort I felt going into my wedding day knowing Terry had my back, and that feeling is worth every cent and more you will pay for her services. She made me and my husband (and our whole wedding party, in fact!) feel present, relaxed and excited on wedding day knowing we didn’t need to worry about any little detail with Terry on our side. Having the wedding in our rearview is sad for obvious reasons, but also because I don't speak with Terry as regularly. Do yourself a favor and hire her. It will make your wedding day and planning experience better than you could have ever imagined.

ove and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey at Blue Valley Vineyard. She was wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful during the planning process.

enal with her detailed planning, and I'm truly blessed I got to meet her through all of the wedding planning! Everything the day of the wedding went well (and if it didn't, I didn't know abut it), and I credit so much of that to the TKE Team!

you, Terry! I had the most beautiful wedding thanks to you!!

ctly. Her creativity is insane. I couldn’t recommend her more!!

ove them!

ed to go with our vision, and exactly what everything would look like. We worked with Kelsey and she could not have made our day go smoother. Kelsey made everything so easy and so fun. I cannot imagine what our day would have looked like without TKE and it's a good thing we didn't have to! Seriously, do not hesitate in booking TKE.

is honest, professional, intelligent, kind, and dedicated, and it is so evident she absolutely loves what she does. We worked with one of her teammates Hannah Walker throughout our wedding planning process, and we cannot say enough amazing things about her! In our first planning meeting, we immediately felt at ease working with her. She is charismatic, intelligent, professional, quick to respond, and organized. Terry and Hannah truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. There were so many late night email exchanges that they always responded to within a few minutes of me sending it. They were always willing to jump on a call or answer any questions we had without hesitation. After seeing that went into the timeline of our day, it would not have been possible without them! I truly do not know how they do it! They made sure every single detail was addressed and confirmed, and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day without having to worry! We continued to talk about Terry and Hannah in the days after the wedding and how grateful we are to have worked with them. My husband and I and our parents truly cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work in giving us the wedding of our dreams. Thank you, thank you, thank you ladies!! You are truly the best in the business, hands down!

the day was over. We cannot express how grateful we are that we used this vendor. The professionalism and genuine passion they expressed with us as a couple made us trust every detail to them. We are still beaming about our big day over a week later and we owe it all to them!!

e truly could not have imagined having our wedding without her! The day of we literally did not have to lift a finger. 10/10 recommended her and her team!

with. She is very knowledgable and well-known in the area. Highly recommend. Thank you Terry Kaye Events!!

nd Delilah) as my day of wedding planner truly allowed me to relax and enjoy my big day. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to change other vendors at the last minute, and Terry quickly stepped in to pick up all the pieces just a few weeks before my event. She really saved us! Terry was on top of every single detail and is so organized - she ensured every piece of our wedding was exactly how we communicated it to her. She also went above and beyond to ensure we, our parents, our bridesmaid+groomsmen, and all my guests were taken care of - everything from ensuring people were in the right place at the right time, to having ice and bandaids on hand for our achy feet! Terry is the utmost professional and such a kind person. I recommend her so highly!!

Terry Kaye Events in 2020 for our daughter’s wedding which, at the time, was scheduled for May, 2021. COVID hit shortly after, but Terry helped us keep moving forward in the hopes of celebrating in 2021. We ended up postponing until May of 2022. Terry was a true pro at rescheduling the various vendors we had selected and ensuring we had replacements for those we couldn’t rebook. Terry helped to design a vision for our daughter’s wedding beginning with the creation of a beautiful, unique invitation suite (Staccato) which was artfully carried all the way through to the wedding (Middleburg Barn, Rosy Posy) and reception (Spilled Milk, Select Rentals). When the week of the wedding arrived, the weather forecast was not looking great. While we had an indoor (Plan B), we really wanted to have the wedding outdoors, if possible. Finding a tent at 4 days before the wedding was a tall order, but Terry was able to secure a tent which ended up making the venue even more beautiful than we originally envisioned. She worked with the vendors to add more florals and other special touches to ensure the tent was in keeping with the look and feel of the event. The special touches during the cocktail hour – a unique escort display, chic velvet furniture and gorgeous florals, were exquisite. Then came the transformation of the Middleburg Barn into a stunning and magical reception. From the amazing florals, table settings with custom menus and beautiful chairs for the King’s table, to the wallpaper insets in the bars and drapery with up lighting – the bride and groom, mother and father of the bride and all of their guests were so impressed and captivated with the entire evening! Terry and her team are extremely organized and had every detail planned out perfectly which allowed all of us to have a stress-free, amazing weekend of celebrations. I honestly don’t know how we could have done it without her. In fact, she is so amazing and such a joy to work with that we hired her to be the planner for our son’s wedding in 2023!

al dinner and wedding day from pre-ceremony to post-ceremony. Could not recommend them more! Thanks for making our big day extra great! :)

agement and Terry was one of the first vendors we choose thankfully - she helped us navigate contracts - gently steered us toward vendors and away from others who wouldn't be the right fit for our event - and above all made sure my husband and I felt supported and heard. She became more than a planner but rather a friend! Terry has pretty extensive knowledge of the VA wedding scene (we had a VA winery wedding) and knows someone for just about everything. She also created a design for our event I couldn't have even dreamed up if I tried. I felt totally taken care of - and she made sure to take care of issues we had the night of so that my husband and I could ride off into the night with little a care in the world except being happily married. We would point anyone and everyone to Terry :D <3

ensured everything was perfect. Both Terry and her assistant Delilah made our night one we will never forget. We give Terry Kaye Events 10 stars and highly recommend them for any wedding. Randy and Theresa Helms, Warrenton, VA

vent and made it happen while adding some beautiful extra ideas of her own. We could not have had the wedding we dreamed of without her. I cannot recommend Terry enough - she is exactly who you want to work with for your wedding! She’ll made the process easy and the day just magical!

ical day would not have been the picture perfect event they dreamed of. Her planning, preparation and attention to detail was truly amazing. She’s awesome!

e and I wish I could do the day over and over again 100 more times. It was the best day of my life and I have Terry Kaye's team to thank for that. Their leadership, attention to detail, follow through, and communication were all of the highest standard and I was blown away by how they all showed up for us (Delilah and Kelsey are the best dynamic duo ever!!) Terry's team made our wedding dream come true and if it weren’t them I KNOW it would not have been as fluid and almost effortless for my husband and I. This review will not do it justice. I cannot thank Terry's team enough for communicating with our vendors, our attendees, our wedding party, our parents, and with us so professionally and effectively. Every time we look back at our wedding day from now on and for the rest of our lives we will immediately think of Terry, Delilah and Kelsey and how they made the day perfect for us. They are all so selfless and gave us their undivided attention our entire wedding weekend. If you can’t tell I love Terry Kaye's team!!!
