There are truly not enough words in any written or spoken language to properly articulate my and my now husband’s gratitude for the Temecula Creek Inn, but here’s trying! (And sorr...y for the lengthy text… I just have an endless list of positives to share)
** For starters: Devon Flood is extraordinary. She was incredibly thorough and thoughtful in answering all of my questions before we booked our tour so that by the time we got to actually see The Stone House venue for ourselves, we already knew it was a slam-dunk winner and the place we saw ourselves getting married. Devon worked closely with us on finalizing numbers that made perfect sense for our particular budget, and once we were officially booked, she far surpassed what you would expect a typical Catering Sales Manager to do. She became an ally, an advocate, and a consistent source of wisdom and guidance. After my dad passed, Devon even went so far as to gift me (not once but TWICE!) sentimental father/daughter tokens I was able to tie into our eventual wedding day, so it was like he was there the whole time, watching me marry the love of my life. In the final months before our wedding, she remained in contact and made sure all of our wants and needs were being met. I am going to supremely and sincerely miss those sweet Devon check ins she sent so often. Devon, if you’re reading this, I just love you. You are a gem of a woman.
** Next up: the fantastic Leah Garcia. Devon introduced us this past spring and it was Leah, our Catering Sales Manager, who took over wedding planning. It was immediately apparent to us that Leah was both a sweetheart and a hard worker. Over the course of 5-6 months, she was SO patient, SO gracious, and SO attentive as I shared our every single hope and dream, and by the time our wedding weekend rolled around, she completely delivered on *each and every* aspect. From the fire pits being lit to the intricacies of the shuttles, from the wine barrel cocktail tables to the ever-changing table arrangements, (delicious) food, (yummy) alcohol, and beyond, Leah did a masterful job helping make our day feel uniquely “us”. She must manage dozens of weddings each month, but she never once skipped a beat, missed a step, or confused our requests with another couples’. Leah did everything she possibly could do deliver the kind of wedding that Devon had first sold us on, and in the end, she over-delivered. Leah, you made me feel special, safe, and spectacular in the lead up to the wedding, and most importantly, on the day itself. You always had a smile on your face, and forever more, when I think of you, I’ll smile, too.
