Team Glam Detroit

do. On the wedding day, I was so happy with how it turned out—I even cried because I looked exactly how I had envisioned. Truly wonderful to work with and so talented!

w. My hair was perfect and didn’t move the whole day and night. My makeup was flawless and looked airbrushed. I got so many compliments!

my look! All my girls and my mom loved their looks too. Everything went so smoothy from start to finish. The coordination of services was seamless and easy and actually very fun!!! All of my girls said this was the best HMU they have ever had....and I agree:) Everyone looked amazing...all the way to the after party!! If you want an experienced, kind, caring and fun HMU team, hire them! They were just good vibes and good people. They really helped my wedding morning go smooth!!

the preferred look among the girls that got services. Both Silva and Carly had such a fun attitude all morning, and worked very efficiently while doing a very good quality job. Thank you both for the wonderful looks!

dding. The owner, Kristin, was made aware of the issues and told me she would refund me. However, I am still waiting for the refund over a month later. I would be very cautious if you are going to book them, but I would not recommend them.

long, wordy and not as clear as they could be. I flew myself home to do a hair/makeup trail, I went while the salon was under construction and was warned but I walked into a salon with windows out, hammering, drilling, no floors, type of under construction.. I was a bit thrown off that there was not a better effort to at least better work around the construction - I get it, its not always easy.. My stylist showed up in dirty sweats, a t-shirt and flip flops and the trial was not great and I was honest and we worked out a plan but nervous beyond belief -  you sign your life away to a contract before anyone touches your hair or makeup, so you can't take a different direction without losing cost. When I got my final invoice, it was significantly more expensive than what I was quoted - goes back to wordy emails poorly explaining their services.. When I asked for clarification on the pricing, Christina went in on me, telling me I was wrong and couldn't "clearly read" her emails - emphasizing words in all caps and her tone was blatantly rude. This was the last thing I wanted to deal with. After this I counted this as the loss for my wedding day and planned accordingly by having a simple hair and make up plan so I could fix it if needed. My stylist did a great job with makeup on my wedding day, but my hair (half up/half down with curls) was not good, she did work with me when I asked for adjustments, but the curls fell out an hour after she was done and there's nothing like trying to frantically curl your crispy hair sprayed hair when you're the bride on your wedding day. Your hair and make up needs to be something you are set on and comfortable with -   I do not recommend as it threw a wrench in my planned out wedding budget to be charged more than initially thought and I recommend to not waste your time dealing with poor and unprofessional customer service.

d, she asked if I remembered which products we had used at the trial—despite having taken photos of the exact products for my look. I’m not sure why it became my responsibility to recall those details. I had requested just a few small tweaks from the trial: a little extra blush and a brighter under-eye. There was no mirror in front of me as she worked, so I couldn’t see the process. When she finished my eyes, her exact words were, “I’m so happy I went darker with the eyes.” I never asked for this change, and it left me confused. I had wanted a soft glam look, but what I received came across as full-on glam. Looking back at the photos, I feel it doesn’t even look like me—I would never choose such heavy eye makeup, and I’m truly saddened by this. In the adrenaline of the day, I didn’t take a close enough look or compare to my trial photos, so I do take some responsibility for not speaking up in the moment. However, that’s the purpose of a trial—to establish the exact look for the big day. Looking back at my trial photos, I realize I was much happier with that version. At the trial, she wasn’t distracted, asked questions throughout, and followed the plan. On the day itself, that wasn’t the case. On a positive note, my hair was exactly as we discussed in the trial—she checked in with me along the way and delivered perfectly. I just wish the same care and attention had been given to my makeup

g hair & makeup trial, I gave Shelbi my vision of my wedding hair & makeup & she did an amazing job bringing my vision to life! Thank you Team Glam Detroit for making me feel & look like a princess during my wedding day! The results were absolutely breathtaking & your team is very sweet & supportive! ❤️

to life. Special shout out to my hair stylist, Emily R, who looked at several inspo pics I brought and helped me combine a few styles and figure out what suited me best. What she ended up creating was beyond my expectations! The admin team was also helpful in planning how to get myself, 9 bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt all ready before 1 PM on my wedding day. I ended up having 4 stylists (2 hair, 2 makeup), and they were all kind, professional, efficient, and amazing at what they do! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup which can be rare. I felt so beautiful and confident. I'm so thankful I chose Team Glam!!

actly what I was hoping for and they did amazing work. Thank you again Team Glam for helping me to feel my best on my wedding day!

ly walked me through transitioning my hair to an up-do for my ceremony. She also did my mother’s hair and makeup, which turned out beautifully. We were both so pleased with the results. She was professional, kind, and overall, an incredible artist. She arrived on time and got to work right away. Carly was very responsive with communication. I had a few questions before the wedding, and she answered them immediately. The entire process went smoothly, and Carly did an exceptional job!

ir look even better on my wedding day, and it looked flawless even after 12 hours, lots of dancing, and multiple veil/hairpiece changes. One of my bridesmaids cut her hair really short right before the wedding- I wasn't sure how it would turn out but Kristin came up with an elegant and glamorous style. Heather did our makeup and she did an amazing job!! I felt like I still looked like myself, but way better than usual, and all my bridesmaids loved their makeup too. Not only did both of them do a fantastic job, they had everyone's hair and makeup done with time to spare despite our wedding being on the early side. I cannot say enough good things about Team Glam Detroit!

n top of It. Everyone’s hair looked amazing and looked great the entire day. They worked so fast, everyone was impressed how quick they were in and out! I would recommend Team Glam for all of your wedding day needs!!

party (10 bridesmaids and 2 moms) so quickly and amazingly - all while bringing fun and energy into the bridal suite! One of my wedding day priorities was making sure I felt confident in my look all day long, so my hair and makeup artist was extremely important to me. From my bridal trial, I knew I was in incredible hands with Kristin, Savanna, and the rest of their amazing team. They completely nailed the classic look I was going for, and on the wedding day they nailed all of the different looks my bridesmaids were looking for even more quickly than we had anticipated. Do yourself a favor and book Team Glam Detroit now, before they get all booked up!

re SO happy with the results. The team was approachable with the couple changes the girls wanted to make and without question fixed it perfectly. We all left in awe at how beautiful we looked. Kristin did my hair and Valerie did my makeup! I had endless compliments and literally felt like the most beautiful bride that anyone has ever seen. I cannot recommend TGD enough!

modating. She would even text/call me to verify things and made me feel at ease. I ended up getting extensions and they turned out so perfect. She matched my color for me. Chelsea did my hair and Savanna did my makeup and they both are rock stars! They are so professional and fast! I ended up getting a second trial done with Chelsea when I got my extensions and she made me feel so comfortable and wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. She even ended up cutting my extensions more on my wedding day. She made my look turn out perfect, better than I could have imagined. She also made my bridal party look great! Savanna is the best at makeup. She made everyone feel so beautiful including me! I changed up from when I did my trial and I couldn't have asked for better. Overall so professional and great work. highly recommend!!

makeup services for me held a lot of pressure and they delivered. We had a massive group and every single one of us looked GORGEOUS. My bridesmaids all said they had never felt more beautiful. I changed my hairstyle up from my trial ON MY WEDDING DAY and Kristin nailed it beyond my expectations. Not only did they deliver from a professional standpoint but they were so much fun to talk to and get ready with on wedding morning! The value for the services you receive is unbelievable. I will be sending every bridal party I know here. Thank you team glam!!! 🥰🤍

go by after postponing our wedding, I realized the date on my new contract was wrong. Kristin called me right away after I panicked and helped figure everything out. I am so thankful for her in helping me ensure I had a beauty team for my special day. She blessed me with my glam team - Brie and Kelly! Brie and Kelly are amazing!!!! Not only was I obsessed with how my makeup and hair looked, they were so nice, compassionate, and were so fun to be around. From my makeup/hair trial to my wedding day, I was so blessed to have them be a part of my special day. They are both amazing and talented. I highly recommend Team Glam Detroit as your beauty team for any event!! Thank you again Kristin, Kelly, and Brie ♥️

team was amazing! Savannah is so calming as well and a true artist! Kristen the owner really knows how to run a successful business! Would hire them for anything, and recommend them to anyone!!

sing a hair and makeup company for our wedding it initially seemed like a very daunting task. Once I found Team Glam Detroit I knew they were exactly what I was looking for. The amount of compliments that not only I received but all of my bridesmaids received is a HUGE testament to Kristin, Val and Maria's talent. I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt before on that day and owe it all to them. They are a fun group in the bridal suite and made the whole morning a breeze and stress free! Without a doubt hire Team Glam Detroit you will 100000% be happy that you did!

am Detroit, I was confident we'd look our best. For my bridal shower, Carly was able to come to my home to do my hair and makeup and it turned out beautiful! For my wedding, Savannah was my makeup artist and Chelsea was my hair stylist. My hair and makeup turned out amazing and I felt so beautiful for my wedding day while still feeling like myself! We also had Brie and Chantal onsite to help with bridesmaid's hair and makeup. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup and were so impressed with how their hair and makeup stayed all night. The team was professional, talented, and we weren’t rushed whatsoever which was such a nice, calm way to start my wedding morning. Thank you Team Glam for making us all feel so confident and beautiful on my wedding day!

l of our hair and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. Each of my bridesmaids mentioned how sweet Brie was while doing their hair, and we all got so many compliments about how well great she did! Everyone’s hair was different, but all somehow went together and looked amazing in pictures! I can’t say enough amazing things about TGD and the entire team!

eam Glam Detroit and I'm so happy I did! Carly and Lauren were amazing!! They were both there on time and went straight to work. They listened to exactly what everyone wanted and executed it perfectly! My bridesmaids told me over and over how happy they were with their hair. My sister told me she was happier with her hair for my wedding than she was for her own! Carly did my trial hair and I completely changed it on her the day of. It didn't seem to affect her one bit. She said she loved my new choice and went with it. We were pressed for time at the very end when she was doing my hair and she went so fast to accommodate and STILL did an excellent job!! Even stayed late to help me with my veil. She left us bobby pins and hair spray for the "just in case" moments but there weren't any, which is always a plus with hair. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice of choosing Team Glam for hair for my wedding.

work. Carly and Savanna were a dream team for hair and make up. Not only are they incredibly kind, but they are so experienced and made me, my girls, and mother in law look and feel so beautiful. They really listened to what we wanted. Carly even brought extra hair pieces my girls were able to use that looked perfect on many of them. All of the girls hair and make up lasted all day, even though we started early, and had a very humid day! I can’t say enough great things about Team Glam!

during their hair service from their requests all the way to payment. One of my bridesmaid’s were told they would be charged extra because she has long hair (no extensions). This was not noted in the invoice anywhere. I had another team doing my makeup and hair. One of the stylists (I believe the owner) came into the room where I was getting my hair done and sat on my bed to “learn and watch” how my stylist was doing my hair. She told my stylist she wanted a free lesson from her. My hair stylist was also offended. Before my wedding, I had a question regarding the invoice and how I should divide between my bridesmaid’s. The owner’s response was, “did you read the invoice at the bottom?” I explained I did but needed additional clarification. She called me right away (which I appreciated). After talking it through, her response was, “can you just ask your fiancé to divide it up for you?” As a bride, the extra stress of this was not what I wanted to deal with the day of my wedding. I will say, my bridesmaids all looked beautiful. If you’re looking for a FULL positive experience, I do not recommend. If you’re willing to risk a poor customer experience, they will still do a nice job with hair and makeup.

zing! Guests at my wedding said it was the best make up/ hair they have ever seen for a wedding party! I have some friends that recently got engaged, who are currently planning their wedding and asked who did my make up because they want Team Glam for themselves. My hair and make up was flawless and lasted ALL night! Team Glam makes you feel like confident and beautiful. I highly recommend! Specially Kristin for hair and Val for make up are THE BEST! THANK YOU!!!! ❤️

ted makeup done as well and a 1:00 PM ceremony to be ready for. Team Glam Detroit totally came through and everyone looked so beautiful and natural glam. One bridesmaid even said she looked better than on her own wedding day. Thank you Team Glam for pampering all my favorite girls and doing such an incredible job on everyone including myself!

EVERYONE in the entire bridal party looked absolutely stellar. They used top notch products, listened and understood what looks we all wanted and touched us up to make sure we were all PERFECT and ready to walk out the door. I wish I would have known about them for my own wedding. I will be recommending these ladies to all of my friends from now on. Do yourself a favor and book them NOW!!!!!!!!

tisfied with my outcome with other companies. Once it was my turn to be the bride I did a lot of research on hair/make up companies for my big day. I wear make up almost everyday, and I knew I wanted a more “full glam” look for my wedding day and Team Glam did just that! Not only did I look flawless, so did my entire bridal party!!!! These girls are the best in the business, no need to looks else where! I can’t thank you ladies enough for helping me feel absolutely beautiful on my big day! XOXO

lly listened to what each girl wanted and didn’t want. Everyone was super professional and made sure everyone felt comfortable and beautiful before they left! Everyone loved their work and everyone got compliments throughout the night about how well they looked and how their hair and makeup stayed beautiful throughout the evening!!

k with her. I've had my makeup done a few times in the past and never actually really liked the final look. It was so different with Team Glam Detroit. Savanna listened to everything I wanted, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park! I had some pretty bad stress acne on the morning of my wedding, and she completely hid it without making me look cakey or overdone. She's a magician. I was blown away with how much I loved my final look, and I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Savanna and Team Glam Detroit. ✨

in and i highly recommend them! From the beginning talking with Kristin, she was very responsive and answered all my crazy bride questions! Kristen listened to what I was looking for and based on that she recommended Valerie. And Valerie was perfect!!! Thanks Kirstin and Valerie!!!

ely BEAUTIFUL for our photos. She listened to my vision, and created the perfect soft glam look that made me feel fabulous, but still like myself. Val is very down-to-earth and easy to talk to - and let me tell you, it makes a big difference when your excitement is high to have someone that makes you feel so comfortable. I can't say enough good things! THANK YOU to both Val and Kristin - I can't wait for your team to work your magic on our wedding day!

ies and were able to accommodate me and my large bridal party last minute! They were a life-saver!! Savanna was wonderful and super accommodating. She was very organized, timely, and made sure we were all ready in plenty of time! I got so many complements on everyone’s makeup! I would highly recommend working with Team Glam Detroit.
